Force place bad players to PvE

Could you please point out in detail where I 'pissed over everyone else' and created an elitist community If not directed at me, could you please be more specific you're accusing of what exactly?

I even added I was just talking about gaming performance, just to make it clear I wasn't talking about him as a person ( which I also said )

Force place bad players to PvE

I thought it was a normally used metaphor for something underperforming?
  4. Tell that to your Myogi and Kawachi? Seems both of us don't do that good with BB's atm

Bottom center alignment would be good for me I think, if not dead center a little offset to the left isn't bad but it's a bit too far atm for my eyes to register both my aim point and my gun orientation ( maybe I just need to get more used to it ).

    Soviet destroyers suck!

Only wr, not dmg as dmg can be a fine looking number, wr is what counts right? I skipped everything till tier IV, that is right, I know I wouldn't like them one bit ( suicide torp range and still useless guns for the most part ( don't show me single good games, it won't convince me ). I'm hoping for it, but Izyaslav doesn't work as a concept, not in my hands. edit: I get spotted at 11.6km with Izyaslav, with 12km gun range. I got a 12 point captain at tier IV, you telling me the concept is fine I just need a better captain at tier IV?

New Aim Mod (No, realy, this one is new)

He has 34% hit ratio in a few games player, sounds like the number the mod author mentioned people would get on average even if their total newbies right?

http://worldofwarships.eu/en/community/accounts/515528647-/#tab=pvp/account-tab-ships-pvp You're overall stats on it aren't that stellar though, especially wr. Here are mine -> My wr sucks even more. I do the same dmg in Isokaze but that is 'concentrated' damage 'where it counts' so I win a LOT more with that. I can get dmg done over time, but you can't influence a match nearly as much. edit: We are intended to fight other DD's, not engage BB's ( re: cammo nerf ) from distance.
  11. I thought it was pretty clear, but sorry for the confusion

New Aim Mod (No, realy, this one is new)

Idk, I got pretty inconsistent hit ratio's on ships myself. If you check my ships it looks like it's also tier dependent. On lower tiers, players don't evade properly That being said, if you're that much better on higher tiers then on lower tiers, it does look pretty suspicious lol.

I guess it depends on the person. I rather have my kid shoot at pixels and learn self defense then go out and get into fights at school the whole time for instance. All this 'virtual people' is just your emotional luggage you're projecting on my kid. Ask yourself, do you really think he is thinking about shooting 'virtual people' when playing, or is he trying to sinks a mesh with a texture over it? He also sees daddy play tanks, he played the tutorial on my account once and didn't like the game. Now, some kids I know of his age were allowed to play The binding of Isaac. Now that worries me. World of Warships, not that much. edit: Even so, you can 'filter' out the quick commands and block everything else ( since you know how those look like ;) ).
  14. But doesn't that all fall under captain related things and not independent equipment related things, there is a clear distinction. I said 'as part of all the other captain skills' because I off course also entails AAA boosts because of captain skills. Just not equipment boost on its own as moving equipment is already possible without gold ( even if it's hidden because it costs you 50% of the silver by selling the old equipment ).

    [12.6.0] Aslain's WoWS ModPack Installer

I tried to click on forum thread for the mod but it brought me to Aslains site not a particular thread lol. I am not sure either so I skipped it, I kind of really like my current crosshair anyway but it sounded like it could be useful Ps. Aslain I am using your moved ship icon which shows gun orientation, can I ask why you choose bottom left alignment?
  16. Since WG has always been very adamant against having that stigma on their games, I fully expect an option to retrain faster for silver. Otherwise, high tier progression with proper captains is indeed pay2win currently imo. Btw this only applies to the awareness advantage you mention ( as part of all the other captain skills I am talking about ), as equipment can be sold for half price and bought on a new ship without gold. The amount of retraining needed for a high tier ( from 7 or 8 upwards, or take my current SN captain who had been training on my Murmansk and Gremmy and is at level 12 when I'm only at tier 4 in the SN DD line ) captain, or better said a high level captain even with paying for 50% off is just to steep to call it otherwise. And that is only taking into account I got two premiums which I can use the captain in while retraining and retaining all skills while doing so. Without those ships, I would be better off for sure using new captains on all my ships up to the very end. And even that forces me to play Murmansk and Greg a LOT ( not that it's a pain to play those, at all ), but forcing this is not the best way to keep players happy. An option to drop captain skills points and retraining for different vessels would be ideal if following wot's example, you can drop skill points to hasten retraining and you can do that for silver not just gold. Doing that would remove the pay to win stigma and allow a more normal tier progression.

Force place bad players to PvE

That is why I said I was talking only about in game performance, nothing else. I don't mind having everyone in the same bracket, in WoT I was once a 46% wr player ( mind you, with a LOT of battles already so no excuse for me there ), the reason I could improve that 'quickly/drastically' was because I also play with better players and those better players show me a lot about how the game is played if you want to win. Brackets only hinder people because they are surrounded by people of their own skill level. Which is fine if you're happy with where you're at ( at the top bracket for instance ) but not if you're actually still willing to improve. Mind you, the only reason now you have people who perform so much better than others is the fact that there is only one bracket, a lot of unicums wouldn't even like playing only against other unicums ( farming 'noobs' is just as much fun if not a tad less challenging except when setting different goals like getting xxxx wn8 for a session ). I don't mind having you on my team, you're just as often on the enemy team. I can perhaps silently rage ( except when you're in my division on ts perhaps ) if you deny me a victory by not killing the last enemy, it's just as often I could get an extra victory because my team is able to sink you before you sink them. As long as the player base is large enough, and there are no shenanigans with mm, everyone should get an about equal distribution of good and bad players on their and the enemy's team. And like I said above, by playing with better players I hope you'll continue to improve as much as you can/want/are capable of. And if the end of that line still leaves you as a below average player, be proud you're doing as good as you can and ignore the guy from the opposite end of the scale which seems to forget he wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for the other guy

44% wr is actually bad no matter how you want to twist it. You can polish a turd, but it's still a turd? Note: we are talking about gaming performance, not if people are 'good people' or not.

Nope, at least if it did break it again it was again unintentional as far as I know.

I agree, which is why the PG ratings are guidance and parents have a degree of freedom ( I heard from an Australian couple which got sued for letting their kid play something unsuited for his age, but I can't recall anything like that ever happening in The Netherlands.. ). If/when a mod comes which disables chat outside of the quick commands ( + hopefully someday a proper carrousel ) I will install it on his pc. And don't get me wrong, 99% of what is said on chat isn't that much worse ( just a lot less lyrical ) than what I hear him come home with now, but it's that 1% which bothers me. Luckily that 1% is also obviously breaking the rules so perhaps we just need more report options Ow and, I am a Martian ( asperger ) for a reason, right ;) ps I am also quite good in recognising the obvious traits when meeting someone in person, but online the difference especially when dealing with other languages and cultures can be quite hard to spot.

If you meet me on the street or are with me on ts while I'm playing you'll be amazed at what I can spew out and cope with, it's the fact that I know everyone on that ts channel is mature enough to deal with the abuse given out just as they are mature enough to dish it out without a second thought ( or ill intent! ). But, since this is a 12+ game ( my son is 12, no really ), I do not think the same about in game chat. Just as we have moderators for the general discussion channels in port, it's also not feasible to allow that level of freedom since you don't know who'll be exposed to it. And for the kids who are playing it, I honestly think that not exposing them to this in a game is actually something most people will think of as being a good thing? If this was a 18+ game, you really think I would be asking for a language filter?

What is trivial to you doesn't mean it's trivial to others. There are people who don't care about people wishing cancer on other people, yet when I see such a thing and remember my family members who died of cancer and how painful a dead it is, I feel disgusted and disappointed in humanity.

Mhm idk I didn't even check, but Minecraft with Flans mod pack isn't different and he been playing that for ages. Mom has no objections and I also can't think of a reason why he shouldn't play it. Diablo III, that's something I don't think he should be able to play, but 'war' alone? My son is autistic like me, I don't think he has an emotional charge with the subject, it's sooner a rational thought process and that I would like to keep developing if possible. One of the benefits of being not neurotypical is that we don't have the burden of useless emotional baggage. For him the game is about pixel ships, that there are also real ships and that grown ups have used them to fight with each other is just a fact which doesn't really interest him much ( as he can't understand why people need to fight wars ). edit: btw if you look at his development, he's a lot older then his calendar age, just not with EQ ( and like his dad, he likely will never be ). edit2: Btw I started playing cowboys and indians when I was six or so, with my sixshooter and rifle shooting 'enemy' indians ( or killing the invading cowboys ). You think the real history of cowboys and indians is something a six year old should be accustomed with? The times have changed, now it's video games, but even long before kids played 'war' games.
