New ships are never available outside a package, not in EU shop anyway. If you just want the ship for 11 euro ( same as other tier IV BB ) you will have to wait Just to make sure you don't misunderstand, I'm waiting for the ship only deal as well

WOWS not running smooth on new gaming laptop

If you're Dutch you can watch this video ( or read the article ) -> http://tweakers.net/reviews/4177/asus-rog-gx700-overklokbare-gamelaptop-met-waterkoeling.html/ -
How about when ships touch the border, the kraken appears and turns them around? Or, Pinky Pie farts a rainbow which magically turns back time so you don't hit the border? I mean, artificially cutting engine power isn't really realistic, but still better than both our suggestions

I gave you a thumbsup on YT though

Things that are not right with this game... and should be

Last year a top ESL team admitted using adderall to gain an advantage during a competition, now ESL takes drug test ( I heard somewhere, not even sure I don't follow nor participate ). If you ever needed any proof that it's not just the people who we would consider 'bad players' who use things which give them an edge. -

If true that thing when docked is a monster like I expected it to be from the Asus announcement, the only thing which could match it is either a desktop or a alienware with the external gpubox with an even stronger card. Seems portable gaming has actually caught up with desktops in performance, but still it's only been announced it's not been released yet so the cpu and the clocks aren't known yet. That, and the price tag -
I expect to see that game on YT

Why are you fixated on spinning the tale that everyone who uses a lead indicator is stupid enough to shoot at it regardless? Myths like that should die quickly before they take root, it's the decent or better players using said mod which know when not to aim directly at the indicator, and trust me it's usually not the totally inept who use such cheats. -
I hope I just didn't break any rules letting you guys know something you're not supposed to, but yeah the process isn't automated for ST at least
-
Don't blame ST, it's not their/our fault. Nor is anyone saying the event is enabling everyone to compete in it, nor is anyone saying it couldn't have been done different. And especially my ST colleagues who volunteered to play these event ships to make it so more people can participate then otherwise. Their not even stetpedding as the ships aren't tracked, it's purely for your and everyone's chance to participate in the event. Ow, I also think it's probably quite fun to play tier 9 and 10 ships in a tier 5 match, but remember they also have to manually enter all the names of people in the winning team.

No, I imply that randoms means that over time both teams will have equal distribution or close to it. Over time, which leads to what I also been saying for quite some time, it's a game off averages. A single game can be determined by a unfavorable mm ( be it tier wise, ship wise or player skill wise ) but if you played > XXX games you can no longer hide behind 'teams'. edit: though yes, in your example your 60% play style will still yield a loss. But skill based MM for randoms is not something which is considered afaik, we have ranked ( which comes close but isn't really skill based ). -

980m already took that slot, it will have a new designation maybe 990m? And if it's newer/better then 980m, and if their claim of 70% performance increase when docked, water cooled and overclocked, that thing should be a proper beast Ofc, these announcements are always supplied with a healthy dose of salt -

Read my post again it seems you missed the important parts. -
I agree with Vanhal as well, but tbh 'to continue the attack' = 'continue to fight with the 'harder to hit' buff' so I was confused about the opening sentence that much I forgot to +1

It is not ( I think, and I did consider your arguments so hear me out please ). I'm an above average WoT player according to the ratings, with a mediocre win rate. But I once was a below average player, with a very bad win rate. I got better, and my win rate reacted to me getting better ( you could even see my WNx graphs climb before my wr started climbing. Add to that, there are many players I know who are either just better or just worse at me at the game. This is clearly visible through both account averages as recent averages in performance. If everything was as team dependent as you say it is, these differences would not exist. ps. I don't know if you're a poor player, I didn't check, I said 'this excuse is only used by poor players' and I stand by that comment. I made that same statement, I said I was a better player then my stats showed. But I was called out and eventually when I actually started to become less bad I realized I had been wrong and it is my own personal performance which is responsible for my averages. Teams are influential, but players are randomly spread out through those teams. If you're consistently able to reach your potential in any game, on average the statistics will show which games where you DO make the difference, you tipped over in your or the enemies favor. Because you DO make a difference, just not in all games. And that is what averages show. -
So instead of repairing my rudder to get off the line I can choose to stay there without penalty until it auto repairs after 1:30? I know, how likely is that scenario? But how likely is hitting the border while having your rudder damaged, resulting in a death which wouldn't have occurred in either open ocean or an island?

The watercooling radiator and pump are in the dock, ergo it's not 'water cooled' when it's mobile. I'm more interested in the gpu, it hasn't been announced yet ( new Nvidia ). edit: btw sorry for causing the confusion, with saying it's a wc gaming laptop I gave the impression it had a built in radiator and pump which would indeed be either astounding or make the laptop impractically large. -
My post was not constructive, I apologize. And Dropsiq is correct, I should have been called out on it. It's just that this thread has so much wherabooing going on, it's hard to post contextually relevant replies. Some posts are just too ludicrous to reply to with anything but the type of posts me and Dropsiq made. You simply can not make broad general statements like 'the entire line is crap' and leave it like that, and not expect a similar style answer especially when you as Japlance pointed out didn't even play the line enough to have an opinion worth more than a fart in a hurricane.

The only laptop I would look at overclocking ( to see if it's potentially doable, not really because it would be needed ) is that new GX700 from Asus but that's only because I hear it has pretty good watercooling ( yes, water cooling in a laptop ). -

mtm78 replied to FrodoSwaggings's topic in General Discussion
If this is in general, I agree. If this is in response to my and ScarecrowCZ's remarks about throttling and overclocking, then you should realize that this is still not recommended with almost all gaming laptops as the cooling is still not sufficient to deal with a higher tdp/power usage/heat dissipation. But, just to blow your whistle a bit, your laptop is higher specced than my desktop(s) and I got two pretty large cases ( Obsidian 600D and a CM case I forgot the name from but it's taller than the obsidian ). -
