AFT is also for secondaries ( important for IJN BB's ) and AAA, and Cleveland might not benefit much, Mogami 155's without AFT would be a far less clear choice over the 203's. About Yubari, the planes are so slow at that tier that having two charges is already sufficient to keep any CV/BB alive for a large part of the match. If they gave it more charges, tier IV CV's with an enemy Yubari would have instantly crap games and that's not desired either. The only thing which could be done about Yubari AAA is giving it more dps so it kills planes quicker without the need for AAA consumable.

If they changed AFT, now that would have affected a lot of my captains and I would have liked a free reset if they had gone through ( they said we would get it, but only if that change was applied on 5.1 ).

Now I did play Myoko as AAA escort in division with a BB/CV at times and it's sufficient at disrupting drops and killing some planes. But truth be told, if you want to play AAA cruiser you might be playing the wrong line? Not a coincidence you mention you need the skill 3 times, as that is what escort CA's from the USN line get stock. Btw mid to high tier cruisers are where they shine, top tier cruisers are underperforming and low tier are over performing.

The free skill reset would only be given if they had changed actual captain skills more then just the AAA recharges. It's said that on average people use these less than you get reloads now anyway, and btw you want superintendent on your CA's because off the heal at higher tiers. If they had changed AFT, we would have gotten a free reset, but for this change it was not needed.

Server stats ( 3rd party ) are showing tier X is performing well below Shima and even Gearing afaik.

I hated playing it, I have 50k dmg on Kuma and 34k on Furutaka, It is not a good nor a fun ship to play, but you can make it work ( eg you can win games with it ). I sold it after those 24 games as they were enough for Aoba unlock ( premium account + 50% xp flag was used ). Look, it's widely known as a turd so people don't even put in any effort to try and make it work, they just give up and blame the ship hence vicious circle of bad performance -> bad perception -> bad performance.

That is what I was afraid off, in that case I'll use the stock one until a new mod comes out or until the old one is updated. The stock carrousel in dual row config looks actually nice if someone would make new icon overlays ( hint hint.. ).

Opposite to popular believe, HE spam actually takes effort as you're set up as 'damage dealer over time' which means you have to survive which means you need to put effort into being able to deal damage without risking to much return fire. Playing HE Mogami is actually hard, your situational awareness has to be top notch to make the most out of it.
