Well it's basically just a small cruiser so it has a different play style then the other tier X's but that's true for the entire line. Shouldn't people be used to it by then? Maybe your excellent performance is also due to this being your 'niche' which just suits your playstyle the best? edit: notice I said also ;)

The dispersion hasn't changed I think, that is just an UI change probably with how modules affect various attributes ( might be an unintentional change.. ).

You obviously didn't read the thread. Agreed with your sentiment though edit: btw, that was was also broken this patch it seems, so depending on if/when it resurrects all is well now and I should do a happy dance right now.. but I want to wait and see if it will return 'soon'.

The patch notes do say something about changes in penetration calculations with multiple armor layers, this could be very well the cause of what you're experiencing? That has nothing to do with dispersion though so the thread title is not fitting for the problem at hand ( if I'm not 100% of the mark ).

Patch notes are indeed sometimes incomplete, this is true for all games btw, but I'm pretty sure you're mostly experiencing something called conformational bias 100% sure, no as there could be a hidden abrupt change to something. but 99% sure, 99.9% when Trigger_Happy_Dad's not experiencing the same issue.

You had a lot of bounces, can't be any other way. And your bounces could be because of 'bad aim' but also because the angle normalization just wasn't in your favor. Either way, sacrificing more dissidents to RNGezus is still the best bet

That is what we hope, however to be honest a good player using the mod to view real time course and speed changes will have better firing solutions than an exceptional player without that info. There is just no way to know for sure, and that alone is reason enough to want it death

It was extremely easy to tell when you're on a blue line and the mod still gives an aim point like you weren't, otherwise you can't tell. I had times when the first aim indicator was available when I suspected people of it, and even looked them up and they were players who had been playing longer than me at the time ( and had better stats, so 1+1 was that is was just a good player ).

Seems it doesn't always work, but last night I even had someone who I couldn't find when the chat server was up ( I had his complete name, partial, no hits ). He then pm'd me, but it took close to a minute until I got the window and could add him through there. The problems are likely related, but their not consistent.

I see it too, but it's a matter of how influential it is. At first, the toxicity created was more of a problem then the actual mod itself. Yes, noobs now sniped better than before, but only if you 'let them'. And don't get me wrong, I find it unacceptable that cheats exist in any multiplayer game, and it rustles my jimmies when I think someone is using one against me, but the rate at which it happens ( to me ) is low enough to not make constant threads about it ( though if you check the 'designated thread' on the subject linked earlier, I am quite active in that one ). Anyway, I read that people got errors while using it since the patch, that makes me happy. The moment it will be killed entirely I will do a happy dance in my chair, I promise.

I respect your opinion, but it's mine that 3 more shells in the air will mean you hit CA's better then with Yammy's gun's. I admit I only played Yamato in CBT but I've played Montana as well and Montana's 'shotgun' dispersion isn't that much worse than Yamato's, and you will land more hits quicker which against CA's is the most important because the lower dmg per shell doesn't matter as much as vs other BB's. And Montana already has enough penetration to overcome most cruiser angling. This is not just my opinion, but I'm not going to fight about which one is ( the most ) correct
