Epic medals imo should work as in WoT ( for random WoWs battles I mean ). If you get HC or Confederate, you should get the same bonus as the winning team even if you lose. If it works in WoT, I don't see a reason it wouldn't in WoWs. But not loosing stars in ranked when you loose but get confederate ( or HC ) would be bad, you can farm those without playing in the best interest of the team ( hence it would in fact lower the amount of teamwork you would see ). -

Come on.... 3 day RO iirc @Neph I never liked the concept of ranked battles, I don't want to have to play with randoms and call the results 'skill' ( we can debate if you want, it's 'skill' to perform at the same constant level which would show in a large enough sample size but I'm not 100% ranked has sufficient sample size to not rule out MM influence/team compositions especially since ranks are irrevocable ). I rather have team battles where you play with and against real coordinated teams, I will play that the moment it sees the light of day. Until then, I will not put myself in a position where I will get so frustrated I loose enjoyment of the game because of it. So with that in mind, you finding flaws in the concept and pointing them out imo is perfectly valid. The 'tongue in cheek' remarks sadly overshadow your valid points and people will now focus on 'discussing' feelings and comparing epeens, when the discussion should have been about the flaws in the concept, and only about the flaws in the concept. I hope you realize that if you want to instigate change, you're shooting yourself in the foot if you mix your feedback in with those other things which aren't really needed and just distract from your points.

I got Imperator after the AP change, and I have just below 60k dmg with a tier 4 BB. I seen the 9 hit zero damage scenario, but I also insta-gibbed many cruisers in return. If BB's are weak now, I wonder how much dmg I would have done before the AP change

So you want to remove a weakness of a ship you already have 63% wr with, and replace it with what exactly? Since there is no way your arguments will convince them to buff it by removing a weakness. Now if you sucked hard with it, and average stats would also show it sucks, then there would be a need for balancing. Atm, it doesn't sound that imbalanced to me -
They mean the buff to all BB's, namely making armor actually work... before that, every CA could wreck bb's with AP ( easier ). If they don't mean that, I want sum of what their smoking

Pro's: WR boost Cons: DMG stealers Yes and no, you will win more games because two players who play coordinated are worth more than two people who don't. But because you coordinate you often 'share the damage' with your division members. Look, basically, this game is about removing ability to deal damage from enemy team which means focus fire one ship at a time until it is dead. 12 ships with 1 hp each are still just as dangerous as 12 ships with full hp, but in randoms people usually spread damage a lot. Divisions are very good with focused fire, thus removing enemy firepower faster, thus winning more games. If you're capable of reading a battle/minimap well, being in division also means you will win more games because your division members can often respond to things you can not. Coordination makes this game so much more fun. Playing against a coordinated division when I am alone is a real challenge, I can't wait for team battles!

pelosomia, please visit the newcomers section of the forum and read some of the stickied guides. The one about spotting/detectability would have prevented you from needing to make this thread for instance. Having some basic game knowledge will pay off immensely while playing

I fail to understand I can give you a reply but you ignore it. Land based game assets make not much sense in PvP. In a PvE setting, it's an entirely different situation.

I've been guilty of this as well, don't worry. As long as you keep it civil and non toxic it's not that bad. We can all take someone calling us noobs or even 'idiot', so as long as you didn't use '[edited]' '[edited]' '[edited]' I doubt many if any would even take the effort off reporting you. On the other hand, the best thing against negativity in game, is positivity. If you feel you got something to make up, then make up for it. Be civil in game, try to respond/react to people trying to coordinate and just be 'mr nice guy'. It works, trust me And. if you do want to blow off some steam, use TS and be salty to your division mates/buddies ;) -

pff all those automation would only suit noobs. Normal players don't want that automated AI doing the work for them, so I guess you're happy it's none of the things you thought off aren't you? Prioritize means not 'exclusive'. If you priority target is on your port, your starboard secondaries will still fire at in range ships. Even your port side secondaries might not have the firing arc to shoot your high priority target, in which case it will go for other targets of opportunity. -

I often don't repair steering or engine, it all depends on the situation. If you say: use it when available, wel imho you're doing it wrong then ( and that with current mechanics ). Another style of critical, aka 'damaged gun' from WoT, would add additional depth but at what ( development ) costs and what gameplay benefits? We already have disabled modules which auto repair, and destroyed modules. I would btw sooner see a damaged FCS result in both higher dispersion and less range, not just less range. If you want to make these proposals, writing them as elaborate as possible, including possible gameplay scenario's, greatly increases the chances of such a proposal being read by the right people. -

He said he would focus on RU account now. I even checked twitch like an hour after the announcement and he wasn't playing then so I am not sure what his plans are. Would be nice if he kept his English oriented stream going, my RU is weak ;) -

I know you can't do that, but it's still not enough for me to play ranked. Ranked TEAM battles where I can enter with a team of my own choosing, I would be all over that. But I don't want others to either benefit from me, or me benefit from them, just because random MM put them in my team. It's not about general quality for me, it's focused only on not being able to choose my fellow muppets. Since MM decides team composition, I don't see ranked as showcase of skill atm. The frustration would outweigh the benefits of playing it, that doesn't mean others can't like it. To each their own, me, I'm waiting on team battles -

Which is the reason I am not playing ranked, ever. My performance should not be measured through the failings of someone else. WG gib team battles so I can choose the muppets I play with plx, kk thx bye
