Good norm, sounds like a quite realistic team composition. As long as both teams have comparable compositions it's fine imo. Idk about Alpha, wasn't here, but that this is the direct result of CV nerf alone isn't true. The increased rewards for capping are also pushing people to DD's as it's a lot easier to get a lot of XP on them.

And 6 dd's, 4 CA's and 2 BB's is actually quite a normal team makeup ( trading DD's for 1 or 2 CV's can happen right ;) ). This is World Of Warships, not World Of BattleshipsAndCruisersAndOneOrTwoCarriers.

50 times 20 minutes is a long time to not accidentally hit a friendly once, but I like the Battle Buddy award in WoT so something comparable for WoWs would get my vote.

I didn't realize there were people who still had a wrong impression about this, WG has said many times PvE is only intended for target practise and getting to know new ships. It's not comparable to PvP, not in skill needed to perform, so why would anyone ever dare to expect comparable returns to PvE is beyond me. If people don't know PvE is entirely separate from the actual game content ( PvP ) it's not WG's fault.

I too can make credits on tier X in WoT, but not consistently and that doesn't really bother me. Maybe that's because the reason I can't make profits is because I perform a lot less than at tier IX or lower, and I have less fun at tier X because of it. It's not about keeping bad players from tier X, it's about spreading players over different tiers artificially. Even taking into account compensation with premium ships this principle stands, as there are no tier X premium ships so this economic model still increases the amount of games played at less than top tier? Some people don't believe this enforced spread of players across tiers is beneficial to the game as a whole, I do.

Up to tier VIII yes, above that no. In WoT I am able to run even up to tier 9 but I usually can't break even just playing tier X's, and I'm above average in WoT and I run premium time. However, I can't directly compare, high tier economy is much harsher in WoWs then WoT. And I don't have a problem with that, I like playing all tiers so why should I be able to exclusively play the tier which requires the most skill?

Atago already got the heal ability now, it is mostly the reason it is OP when fighting other CA's ( unless tier IX or X which ofc turn that around ). It also got other buffs, and tbh atm I feel my Atago is better then my Ibuki tier for tier. Atago is also more reliable for me atm then Mogami, and Mogami was my favourite tier VIII.

I admit I been playing constantly with premium account ( 99% or so ), and there been times even I found the silver income very constrictive. Basically going multiple lines at the same time and buying multiple mid to high tier ships in succession is already challenging at times ( basically, if I didn't have premium ships even with my premium account I would have struggled with getting Ibuki ). What I am missing atm is a tool like we have for WoT which analyzes income based on replays for instance, because honestly I haven't kept track and I'm pretty sure I done so a bit on purpose ( to not get to frustrated ). Besides how I personally feel, what this whole discussion needs is solid numbers from both good, average and below average players concerning income at different tiers. If you know where to get those numbers this discussion would be a lot easier to turn into constructive feedback. I will start making screenshots of each detailed battle result, but even then it is not simple as cammo and consumables will still have to be added.

Murmansk -> O(P)maha ( C hull ) with better rudder and better torps. edit: It is the best bang for buck premium, Atago is really strong if not OP atm with the recent buffs and she makes more money on average then Murmansk but she is way more expensive to buy.

I am not saying it is fine as is, but I certainly don't want bad players making profit at tier X. That would mean that even when we get a large enough tier X population, we still have to constantly play with the same cretins. If you make it less profitable, less cretins will be able to pollute the tier.

How about no? If good players run even at tier X that is working as intended. You don't need good people making profits at tier X because this will starve lower tiers of good players which will eventually kill the game slowly. So, since good players can't be making easy profits, you can't have scrubs not loosing tons of money. You can't cater to the scrubs without breaking the game for the normal players.

I completely dislike Strike Witches, I was warned it was the worst ever but I had to go see for myself. There was no story there, just camel toe left and camel toe right. I am an OK player. I don't mind having lesser and better players on my teams. I enjoy the spread ( a bit ) as easy farming of noobs and hard fights with good people is a good mix. I even enjoy baddies on my own team to an extent. Usually it means I just have to do more damage to compensate. Sadly I been playing BB's lately, premium one mostly, and I've found the frustration levels while playing BB is much higher then any other class. Because BB depends on other classes to not be [edited][edited][edited][edited][edited] and actually play their class in the correct manner. That means CA's don't ffin yolo and die, don't ffin yolo to other side of the map and not die but be ffin useless there. and ffin cruisers when a DD pops up and is in your range you switch your ffin fire to it. Not only will I not be as salty if you do, you will ALSO GET MORE XP because you remove a bigger % of total hp from an enemy ship ( yes you [edited] cruiser captains, I'm actually HELPING you ). It helps me as well ofc, since I can spend my game doing what BB's do -> remove large chunks of HP from enemy ships. Without having to run away from DD's and evade torps ( read: not removing big chunks of HP from enemy ships because a> I have to shoot at a DD usually with AP loaded b> my guns are likely not turned correctly even while I anticipated a [edited] cruiser on the enemy team sailing in straight lines showing a perfect DS opportunity. That makes me salty. I let people know how I feel about it, and I will try and explain ( yes, again you [edited] cruiser captains, I am actually trying to HELP YOU SUCK LESS at the damn game ), but I get replies from 40% win rate captains ( I kid you not, and it get's worse! ) that 'it's just a game'. Yes, screw all the other players on year team, have a lobotomy and press battle ( it's how I imagine him starting his gaming sessions ). But that's not the full extend of this story, at 40% you already are actively sabotaging the teams you're getting, but his division win rate is 37%. 37% Let me say that again... 37%. That made me quit the game in disgust. This 'players' doesn't play WorldOfWarships, he plays: let's screw my team and bathe in their salt. I will say that without a doubt this 'player' is throwing games on purpose just to troll his team, because no one capable of using chat to convey semi coherent sentences ( remember, he did say something which would translate as : y u heff to be mad, it's only game! ) can be so bad at this game to get that by accident. I will probably play tomorrow and pray I don't get too many cretins, but seriously I've had enough for now. This ruins the game for everyone who plays this game hoping to stay clear of these trolls, and while I know nothing will be done.... Please WG, protect my positive and fun gaming environment and do something about these trolls. edit: I will not name the player in this thread, you can pm me to check him out for yourself if you wish. edit2: I should mention in OP as well that I already met this particular person in a game before where he and his division buddy were blue line riding on a zone map with the whole team pleading with them to please come help the rest ( which they happily ignored ).
