That is very true, and we do have a mix of all levels of players, you wouldn't want to know what would happen if we let Mister_Greek loose on general population armed with a carrier Don't forget friendly torpedo spamming from behind, pushing allies in front of torpedo's to shield ourselves, and timing consumable use so to have the least effect on the battle, how to kemp bush with a BB, how to kemp bush with a CA and how to kemp bush with a DD hiding behind a BB. The live of ST is complicated, it's not easy to leave so much sanity at the doorstep each time a session starts

Who are these so called preferred testers with those awful stats you speak off

Lol I really did miss that for some reason

Why did you remove ship icons on compact carousel, I am not seeing any issues with it?

+1 Thanks, small things can make a big difference

Disable your AV.

I can confirm as well, WG doesn't like changing params for premium vehicles after release, hence why my su-122-44 still has the same cammo bonus after firing for instance.

4.x patch reduced fire chance off every gun smaller than 203's for IJN, then the armor patch seemed to have affected how many zero damage salvo's against well armored targets one can get. Even more, I don't think your Mogami performance is in any way representative of the 'average'

How much 'fun' is team killing when you can't actually damage anyone but yourself?
-
No, it's even only just a tiny bit worse then 'normal'.
-
I think we should promote it more. We need more people to know about and use it
-
This isn't helpful in any way shape or form either.

I am not online that often lately but there is a channel in game called Forumites ( sturmtiger's one ), the password is 'play4fun'. You can always check who's online there and find some people to play with ( though I hear traffic been low, channel has kind of been inactive because no new people joined the Forumites ).

Then come on TS, I hear you been invited more than once right? I been on yours in the past haven't I ;)

This is the tricky part for an automated system. A full broadside of torps can kill almost anything and it CAN be an accident, automated systems have issues still with determining intent. So that initial broadside can happen. But this player needs to turn pink instantly. But while being pink, he should immediately not be able to do any team damage but instead damage himself. Sure I would like a system which could see 'intent', but I don't see it happening. So the next best thing is preventing anyone who is already pink from further disrupting the gameplay of others.

Everything you want to know is right here... Seriously, I can't help you with the things you mention you don't know, and some of the things you seem to know can be interpreted in different ways

You can do team damage to a certain extent ( percentage of hp in x amount of time, details undisclosed to prevent abuse ). If you reach threshold A, this happens; you turn pink, you get an audio warning and your team is informed you been given a penalty. In stage A you can still do full team damage. Then comes stage B; all team damage is reflected on your own ship, or more, eventually resulting in any allied damage being suicide. Between A and B there is a grace period where it gradually shifts towards B. This grace period should be looked at first imo, if pink is lenient and I think it is, people who turn pink should be penalized and put into B immediately.

No. This way you just know allied damage is not allowed, period. If you're allowed allied damage when someone is blue, you will think: well he is not blue but that is because the system is bad and he should be blue so I should be able to kill him. If he is pink, which still means you can't shoot him and eventually he will kill himself if he carries on misbehaving, you're not giving people the room to 'loosely interpret' the rules. What would help ban misbehavior is a stricter implementation, and shorter grace periods between the different stages of 'team damage' handling but this is an ongoing process and I understand it's not that easy. The last thing you want as an company is an automated system which catches non-violators.

Blue is the color used in World Of Tanks for team killers. Unlike in WoWs, blue means allied team members can freely kill you. In WoWs, doing damage to a pink ally will still be counted as team damage, so don't.

Nuernburg is a joke. Heck everything in the German tree suffers. Everything.

Thanks for at least trying to be constructive. I don't know how to fix 'joy' when playing them, getting citadel damage easier is a bit of the national trait. It has things to offset that, namely range. The longer distance you can play and hit due to shell speed and arc, the harder it is for enemy BB's to get you in straight line. Which brings us to an issue, I see GE CA's played to their strengths ( and weaknesses ) and if I'm in a BB with only GE CA's I hate my life. Fighting from longer distances, sometimes on par with effective gun range of same tier BB's means they are no longer doing their assigned 'role' in screening for their BB's. This really sucks if the enemy has some stealth DD's and your CA's are all at the same line or even behind you in a BB. Just something to indicate that balance, certainly if you don't want all nations to be carbon copies of each other, is not as clear cut as it sometimes seems to be. -
What we need is perhaps something like STGA for WoWs, but alas we don't even have clans yet atm. Still, teaching those willing should be both fun, and will result in higher quality gameplay.
