^^ so much this You get XP based on the % of HP damage you do. It's a LOT easier to do significant % of HP damage to a DD then it is towards a BB. It frustrates the heck out of me to see tunnel vision CA's keeping peppering a max distance BB when there is a DD spotted way way closer, it's just dumb as [edited].
-
True, I'm just foreseeing many cretins doing nothing but stealing kills Which ofc isn't possible as there 'are no kill steals in this game' since the rewards are done based on hp done... ow wait, they just rewarded kills ( heavily ).
-
Jup, let's reward kill securing instead of doing 20% hp dmg to multiple targets because you know finishing off low hp ships is a much more important skill ( mhm... I do have good k/d ratio, maybe it will result in me getting more flags ).
-
Player skill is still way more important than ship tiers, if not go ask all those Fuso's which died to Imperator, and I also don't agree that it's the BB composition which dictates who wins ( for instance in a domination game mode, DD's are more important for capping then BB's are for damage dealing ).
-
Because my IJN CA's are mostly capable of surviving longer than most DD's, and as you say there are a lot of planes ( well... there 'should be' ) so DD screening will get spotted and forced out of the area quickly or die quicker than a CA. Don't get me wrong, I tend to fall back quickly if I get focussed by superior numbers but in my opinion a CA should always be actively screening if not for allied BB's then for game objectives. The only time you're not screening is when you're already engaged
-
That is very true, DD can do screening better then a CA but in my experience they don't really tend to do this so it's usually up to the CA's to do it ( and they can ). I don't babysit DD's nearly as much as BB's, mostly because I feel I need my allied BB's more then my allied DD's ( depending on team composition and mode ). Also expect DD's to be more self sufficient, though off course I will support anyone I can anywhere I can if given the opportunity.

No because at 15km range you can reset any BB capping without being instantly obliterated by a lucky salvo. So basically your CA has kept a BB engaged for X amount of time while he is effectively useless for his team. By doing as described it is him who is dictating another loss for his team. Ofc, it needs a skilled CA to actually pull it off. Also, running out of map is a bad argument, you should have turned into a new engagement angle well before hitting the border, if needed you don't fire your guns for 20 seconds to get your stealth back and since you're at 15km you will no longer be spotted giving you the option to give a broadside without risking getting instagibbed.

Learning to play before making threads like these would result in less people thinking you're an [censored]. "You then get 1-2 seconds to turn your ship" <-- stopped reading there

Flat service fee, you got to pay your sailors and restock the cantine's don't you

1. Name and shame is not allowed. 2. That players has a positive kill count for 'other kills', he can't be as bad as you make him out to be. The real notorious team killers can reach -300 there without issues ;)

I will let my stats speak for themselves, we can disagree all you want but all I am hearing is that you think it's too dangerous to be useful for your team ( you might get spotted! zomg! ). Unless you're playing IJN CA's with 15 skill points, being spotted comes with doing your job. edit: Spotting the torpedo's is off course irrelevant if your BB ally doesn't use your early warning to alter course, but let's assume he is not dumb or stupid so he will use the extra information you're giving him.

System requirements -> http://worldofwarships.eu/en/content/game/#system_requirements ( click on the 'System requirements' link ). SLI and CF are both not supported, but the game will run in single card mode off course. Dual monitors: in built support is not that great I hear/read on the forums but you can manually set your screen size and fov values in preferences.xml. There been a few threads with posts with settings for multiple monitor configurations, as long as you know how to calculate what aspect ratio you have to set it to it should not be a problem. However, the UI does not scale automatically, so your compass will be on your left most monitor and your minimap on your right most monitor. I hope you enjoy the game!

Made a comment in blue, sorry couldn't help it. Proper screening is something I still often see being omitted in random games and whether it's ignorance of not knowing what to do or just being selfish and not playing the role each ship class has, but it severely influences or even breaks game balance.

First battles in any session will take longer because all level assets have to be decompressed and loaded for the first time. Decompressed assets are kept in cache during a session, so subsequent loading times will be shorter proportional to the amount of assets already cached.

In that thread, I would pay more attention to Hans's post which states: 'What do YOU think?' That would be my answer as well. As to Leluk's statement about how ST works, I would hope ST is listened to for feedback regarding current game's state overall and not just about whatever it is we're currently testing/reviewing for new additions/fixes. I know I'm not shy with my opinion at least, I'm a LOT more literate in skype then on forums ;) Then, the question is: what should they do with that feedback. I think this is what Leluk meant to say; my feedback is still from one person, so it's not supposed to count for more than anything written on the forums by anyone else with one exception: I try to make sure I have valid reasoning attached, I try to explain why I think it would be better then current situation, and I present it is as a proposal/question not as a fact. But I don't expect my opinions to weigh heavier than any single other person just because I have some forum tag, it doesn't work that way. Everyone's feedback and suggestions are as important, we're all players and WG needs to 'make us happy' all equally.

Bundles -> cashCOW -> kebab Seem pretty related to me

Nuernburg is a joke. Heck everything in the German tree suffers. Everything.
mtm78 replied to ApesTogetherStronK's topic in Cruisers
Aoba is just as much a floating citadel as Nurnberg, the only difference is that Aoba doesn't get them frontally as easily as Nurnberg. edit: also Aoba is more dangerous to me because of torps, so if I have a side profile of the low I will take out Aoba first. Nurnberg can tickle my BB for another 30 seconds -
Ow crap, you just did it didn't you.. now I have to order something...

I concur, she was a scout cruiser not an AAA cruiser and giving her additional fighter planes wouldn't fit because of that. Adding an ability to launch multiple scout planes at once seems like an easy fix but I wonder how effective it would be in game. The scout planes 'circle' would eventually be so wide it would be covering any random spots on it's trajectory for only a short amount of time. Maybe we haven't gotten multiple simultaneous scout planes because it would be a gimmick not useful in the game.

Why, well you will off course, if/when it's implemented as described No seriously, asking who would use it is not a question I expected in relation to the karma system. There are others which would make more sense to me
-
I assume because of a personal attachment to the ship, because I am quite disappointed that there is no added dimension to her being an aviation cruiser. I might have bought her then, now there is no reason since I have Yubari and Atago already for IJN.

I do care about the truth and I am sorry I accused you. I was totally beat yesterday I only stayed up because I wanted to participate in a testing round. I had around 6 hours of sleep in a 48h period, it's a bad excuse so I won't use it as one, but just so you know. Also, sorry I wasn't aware you could classify my replies to that troll as raging, but alas perception is always in the eye of the beholder. I added a decent 7 hours of sleep tonight, so 13h in 7. I'll try to start ignoring the obvious trolls a bit quicker, and not feed them as much. Sorry to have gotten on your nerves there

Not just bad joke, bad taste if you ask me.
-
Ow stuff it you, crawl under a rock or something ffs I can't even open the forums without seeing you bash on someone from ST blaming us for all which is wrong in the world edit: even before I finished my coffee

You seem to share the same agenda, it looks suspicious. Also, if you can't stand the heat...
