    I guess, you just need to have it active to unlock the ships so if I'd change the Arpeggio port into Polar Lights I guess I can have the best of both worlds. Thanks for pointing it out

    I actually like the idea of having ships you own moored in the harbor ( well maybe not all of them, but some especially if they depict a military base ). That being said, I been using Polar Light harbor from Lesta since it came out... will now have to switch when the missions for Arpeggio ships become available

I fully understand the Polish pride in not wanting the ship to be treated in game as 'RN exchange ship', but on the other hand unless WG is planning on adding a PL DD tree ( as I understand from people knowing such things, PL operated quite a number of DD's but certainly not enough ships for a full CA let alone a BB line? ) giving her the ability to train crew for UK ships could also be seen as something to be proud off. Polish ship training RN sailors, well you got to be better than your students in order to be able to teach right All that aside, it's quite the integral part of a premium to be able to use a ship to train captains so since WG hasn't gone with the RN idea I would hope they might have a PL DD line planned.

    Locate the updates folder and remove all files, this will force a new download of the patches. If that doesn't work, are you sure you have enough free space? The log file content would also aid in troubleshooting, it's the 'WOWsLauncher.log' file, you can attach it to the post if you click on 'More Reply Options'.

    Could even be blind fire, 4km is a short range and if you're still puffing smoke well that can be seen.

    Remove extended tech tree as it's most likely to be causing the loop. I tried renaming my old res_mods but I get crashes on each replay ( likely minimap mod ).

    She turns pretty quick though ( even if the rudder itself is painfully slow ) so if you timed the drop right you will be able to avoid a lot of damage either way, and bombers are quite slow so it will take a long time ( multiple sorties ) to take you out.

    Promoting team killing... What you should not do is fall in their trap and retaliate. There is no allowed team damage for identified team damagers/killers in WoWs like there is for WoT, any allied damage you do is treated the same for you as for some player which is already pink. What you could and perhaps should do is petition WG to lower the threshold for the TK system so violators are punished quicker and move down the implicated sanction ladder quicker. If pink players are sooner unable to inflict further team damage, the 'joys' of being a griever are taken away and that's much more effective than giving them what they want.

    I fully agree, this will only make people think it's 'not as bad' to fire torps from second line. Enormous fines would have been much better solution, want to 'live dangerous' fine, but if you screw up you're loosing tons of money ( literally ).

    1. Friendly torps are ALWAYS the fault of the guy firing them and NEVER the fault of who turns into them. The #1 commandment of Torpedo's is; Thou shall never fire from second line! 2. Why would there be higher risk of friendly fire? Unless you're a 'player' which doesn't care about your allies and just spams regardless, there is absolutely no reason for a higher risk of friendly fire.
  15. I already have crew trainers for IJN with Atago and Yubari so for me that's not a really compelling argument either. I also think Minekaze is fun but I already have it, I would like my premiums being a little different then the regular line ( not to different but enough to make the gameplay different ).
  16. Sims shell arc makes it useless in medium to long range fights ( well, compared with RU/PL DD's ). I am really tempted to get it still... 20 euro's isn't much, but I have already enough premiums so I don't need one for credit making ( and as you said, it's useless for captain training ). But I do pretty ok with DD's and before they changed the shell arc in CBT I <3 Sims it was really close to Gremlin in performance, so if I wanted another stetpedder premium which would make credits while being something I can play well.... tempting still

I dread the day some 4x% cretin is able to argue something in game or on forum without the ability to 'distinguish' between a player who shows he doesn't even understands current game mechanics let alone make suggestions/remarks about balance or anything, with a player who does understand the underlying game mechanics and therefore really is more than capable of judging current balance and making proposals. No, bad players will be able to spew their nonsense without it being as obvious as it would be no that they should really not be talking. Not saying bad players are not allowed to have an opinion about balance, just that it's largely irrelevant since it originates from their lack of understanding. That will increase toxicity. In generic I think the 'good players' capable of statwhoring are not the most toxic part of this community, it's the noobs with big mouths who are the toxic element. This change will have a high chance of making me turn off chat, I don't want communication in game without ability to make fun of people by looking up if their stats match their ludicrous remarks in chat.

    Invis smoke firing

    Any movement, even 1kts, is enough to enable puffing more smoke circles. And you need to go slow as if you pop the smoke going fast ( full speed ) you will pop out off the first smoke circle before making the next one. Full reverse is not stopping you faster as setting speed to full stop by the way.

    Imperator Nicolai I Highest broadside dmg compared with most BB's it will meet, lower ROF gives lower DPM though but it has troll armor as well. Only weak point is that the turrets can be taken out by someone who knows what he is doing, and you only have four triple gun turrets so loosing one or two seriously hurts your flexibility ( especially losing one of the three forward facing turrets lowers its combat effectiveness fast ).
  22. I have the same win rate with Arkensas but quite a bit lower average damage ( to much to be random ). I also find Imperator usually more relaxed to play because those 9 guns are so easy to keep on target without exposing to much broadside to dangerous enemies. Arkansas must use the rof and is certainly capable against cruisers and destroyers more than Imperator but against a BB.....
  23. I play tier IV a lot lately, I had an tier II to blow off steam ( Umi ) but since I got Impregnator it's basically my most favorite ship to blow of steam. I must even admit it slowed my grind towards Zao down a lot

    Babykim is right, I tested in training room and I get spotted +-10 seconds quicker when stationary popping smoke vs while moving when popping first puff.
