I killed 3 DD's in one game with a Fuso, they just need to be stupid enough to turn to launch when I got my guns trained on them Kongo is a very good DD hunter it can out turn most torps launched from > 4 km ( and evade most of those launched closer ). I still need ~18 fires... their going slow but I didn't really focus on them tonight anyway. Decided to just play for fun and it will come, time enough to finish the mission.

Na I saw an actual screenshot of the post; and it was a lot less ambiguous as your quote And no, developers might know about some of the marketing decisions ( like as you say; the order in which nations will be added ) but they can not and should/will not comment on decisions made by the regional marketing teams and for quite obvious reasons. What you want is for someone from the WG marketing team to register on the forum and make a thread with the title: 'Want to know why you're treated differently than the other regions, come and read' in which you can ask your 100% legit questions about why there are such large differences between the regions ( and why there is seemingly so little response to feedback given through the forum and other media ). I don't see that happening, I am hoping the community managers will get the message through and I don't even care for a written response as long as they lower the inequality between clusters ( deeds, not words! ). So again, I know you won't like it but you're really barking up the wrong tree and as such might be ( one off, not trying to single you out ) the reason why there is atm not much animo to commit to a new scheduled EU region Q&A session. As to your fear about not getting proper answers to questions regarding balancing, I really can not say I share that fear. edit:

I agree a Q&A would do good for the ties between community and WG on the EU server, I've reminded them more than once that quite some time ago a promise was made and there been no follow up on it to this date ( to prevent more negativity, I don't think I should even link it as it will be abused to 'show people's anger' ). The DEVELOPER Q&A is specific for gameplay mechanics, balance issues, new content and so on. It is not a marketing Q&A. So you might have just explained why there is no current EU DEVELOPER Q&A, it would get swarmed with people who don't want to ask something to the developers but to WG's marketing leadership to which they have no direct access. MrConway posted already that the current situation has not gone unnoticed, and that the feedback has been passed on. Is that sufficient, no as I to would like to see something actually been done with it ( the new year event was a good change though! ). But you won't get something done quicker with polluting every other topic with the same issue, so I would kindly ask you not to confuse a developers Q&A with a marketing Q&A. Just to reinforce this; on the RU forum a developer has already posted he does not understand the current marketing decisions for the EU region ( saw it quoted, don't have direct link sorry ). So you would be barking up the wrong tree, and afaik that never has gotten the desired result.

Been asked many times, it's not the EU team lacking willingness but direct availability of developers on EU forum is the given answer. Would be great to have EU q&a sessions, but until we do getting accurate translations of the RU Q&A thread is a reasonable substitute ( especially if we one of 'us' EU forumites get's a RU forum account and is willing to forward questions ). Just have to find someone with sufficient Russian language skills, and a willingness to dedicate a part of their free time in this service for the community..

Are you claiming the people who got -100 on a single post had actually valid content in it? Or the one who might get my 'lazy -1' because I just personally don't agree with him but don't want to spend the time to argue why hoping someone else will do it for me? Because you're saying it is a fix for the latter, but the latter was really not much of an issue because; a> getting a -1 this way should not accumulate to something unreasonable ( there is equal opportunity for people who do agree to give it a +1 to compensate and you could see this happening quite frequently with posts getting down voted by a few only to bounce back up way over nominal ) b> if people saw they were getting negative reputation points they were free to edit and ask for an explanation. c> the reputation system served a purpose in that people did not need to quote a post and just say : I agree fully with this content ( or not ). They could just hit the +1 ( -1 ) and that would generate more feedback for WG ( because be honest, people will much sooner show their agreement or disapproval if it takes only a single button click then if it requires them to fully write out their thoughts on a subject ). Now, having said this, I have to point something out: My WoT forum rep is -2xx or something, a 'forum troll' level. And why? Well because I pissed some people off who went though their daily dose of -1's neg repping old posts of mine. That kind of abuse did tick me off, but it could be prevented. Just don't allow to +1/-1 a post beyond a certain time period after posting, problem solved. Ye, I know it did not mean much, I got +1's for posting the most stupid things, but some of those +1's I feel I actually did earn. So, yeah, the PR team which is claiming EU has salty fingers is right in regards to me, I am quite disappointed that WG thinks it was worth nothing. Makes me wonder why in gods name I would try and be helpful and informative, if the only visible appreciation of that is taken away so lightly. To end this: I really hope the quality of content will so drastically improve with this change that we as community won't be missing our -1's to give to the more committed trolls and other deserving people, but I seriously doubt that would be the case. Sad to see WG has lost touch with the core of it's community. Like I argued above, it might have been flawed, but some flaws would have been fixable and some 'flaws' could also be seen as beneficial and in the end, this alternative isn't devoid of shortcomings either.

Google search for the 0x5 error and WG points that renaming the folder can 'fix' the problem at this stage. It also shows it happens with people not using norton ( still norton is a resource hog and not a good AV to offset that ).

nex_gen pointed something out to me. "- Any illegal mods, aim assists etc. are strictly forbidden, and using them will equals immediate ban from tournament." You can ONLY enforce this if every participant in the contest will stream their games ( with a large delay to prevent abuse ).
