    Well actually, Sims does make more credits afaik. The credit multi is much higher than with Gremmy, do 60k dmg in Sims and it's 400k credits, do the same with Greg and it's 300k or so.

    I am still not sure what OP think the problem is. He said something about that if you loose you get paired with worse players in subsequent games which makes no sense off course. But is he now really asking US to validate that his claims are [edited]?
  3. If you select to change shells while reloading only the first loaded turret will actually load. To prevent these situations, switch shells IMMEDIATELY after firing with a double tap on 1 or 2 depending on if you want HE or AP.

    You got me <serious>But actually, I don't think that if certain people would in the future be a part of the ST team, they would get better stats suddenly. Remember that even in ST we have people from most 'skill categories' </serious> Your argument is flawed, simply because if it were true, from everyone who starts losing a large part will statistically keep losing, resulting in many people with win rates well below the current distribution amongst the playerbase.

    Yeah but in the same ffin time those DD''s set up that attack ( and having to reload afterwards ) a BB can fire 4 salvo's or more ( depending on the time it takes to position themselves ). 4 BB salvo's do a whole lot more damage then a single torpedo. A CA in gun range surviving 4 aimed salvo's from 3 BB's is either really skillful and has offered virgins to Lord Hamsterius before the battle. This also ties into the actual real statistics in the game, where DD's are the class which deal the least damage. Now, you got some points here and there, but you're confusing having some points of merit with being absolutely right about everything.

    Wait.. So you're saying that a coordinated attack from 3 DD's scoring one hit on a CA is 'successfull'? How much time the DD's have to prepare to get into position, and afterwards reload, and one out of 3 DD's scoring 1 hit is is 'already screwing the CA'? Sorry, that sounds a bit biased.

  12. Strange, because that would have been the best option. Hood didn't get it's refit, which would have increased her lacking deck armor. So yeah, technological superiority, or inferiority more being the case, was the reason she sank.

    XVM in team or clan battles is useless, it is only helpful in randoms where having an indication of what you can expect from your random team members / enemies can help with making a good strategy. About people bailing out because of the 'sea of red' that is a strawman argument, the same happens in WoT when enemy team has 'more tier X tanks' 'more T110E5's' 'more tier X mediums' and so on. People who say that are just stupid anyway. And people even just say those things to troll. I seen people complain about the team because 'XVM told them something' when MY xvm a> showed something entirely different and b> showed he wasn't even using XVM.

    Your concealment range depends on your equipment setup, if you fire your guns you can add 4km to your detection range ( iirc, don't pin me on exact number might be off a bit ). Basically, if you go for concealed firing you're doing what Trigger_Happy_Dad has just said prevented him from having the biggest impact. Staying at max range is not the best way to play Sims ( though yes, it's how I tend to play it during the opening stages of games or when I feel I don't have proper support / am against superior force ). Unlike Trigger_Happy_Dad I do have AFT on the captain which comes with my Sims most of the times, I don't have a dedicated DD captain and use my CA captain on it which has AFT for AAA boost. But effectively using it, that is a tough cookie to crack. My hit ratio on Sims is really low because I get lured in trying to stealth fire to much. Guess playing Gremmy with concealment expert has spoiled me to much

    Straw man argument. No one likes steam roll victories, but almost everyone who presses battle is doing it to have a good time. Luckily, most people consider getting a victory as a good way of having a good time. According to the last public snapshot you're an average player. Average players 'playing for fun' is exactly what this game is about. When people complain about 'people not giving a damn and screwing their team' they do not mean you. They mean the guy with sub 40% win rate and < 10k damage on their tier X's. You don't fall in the category which should feel addressed when people complain about 'play4fun' style of players, that term ( when used in the degrading manner as it's often done in MMO's ) doesn't apply to people around the median. Sure, you might make mistakes at times, and in any particular game someone on your team might actually look at you as if you're the reason he is not having fun, but that is just another side of MMO's. That person is just getting his knickers in a twist because he carried hard ( or think he did ) and wants a victory. But that same player in a different matchup might see you win the game for him. Because, in order to be in the median, you ARE playing for the victory, maybe not as efficiently as possible, but you can't tell me you're the kind of guy who would ignore going after the DD capping your base because you're shooting some AFK dude and "it's just a game, right?". I expect you to at least try to do the sensible thing, because you're playing for a good time and I expect you to feel better about yourself if you at least did the best you could to get a victory. Am I wrong?

    Dispersion increases with range yes, but it is mostly flight time which goes through the roof. At max range it's iirc almost 20 seconds of flight time which means everything except 'lesser skilled' BB's will be able to dodge your shells. Leading get's hard, as you won't have feedback on your shells for 20 seconds either. So, I don't like it, it's basically spray and pray unless your target doesn't evade and you're a good lead ( comes with experience ). But it can be useful, resetting cap without getting spotted, killing of low hp targets, putting BB's on fire and those kind of things.

    AGT, think you mean AFT = Advanced Firing Training -> + 20% range on main guns smaller than 139mm.

    Answered in the post. CV numbers are picking up already ( mind you I don't play tier X really so it's hear say for the most part, but when I end up in tier X with my Kagero or tier 8 ships there is pretty often a carrier in the last week or two ). Again, just as I said above, I really think teamwork is the most lacking factor atm. Even in games with 5 tier X dd's I've had good games as long as I in my DD or my allied DD's play properly ( yes, even without carriers ). Still, personally, trying to lower concealment rating of some of the DD's might work but I still rather have WG implemented proper rewards for teamplay ( though, how this would look like, I don't know. Screening is passive, and assisted damage sounds nice but once a ship fires it is spotted anyway if it's in range of most other enemies ( stealth firing is 'advanced tactics' and only viable in certain situations ) ). It could be possible to not touch the RU DD's and just adjust some of the IJN one's. Though, that would bring balance issues as well, Kagero big selling point is cammo, the 2x4 launcher setup is crap, it's slow, it can't get into gun fights with same tier USN and RU DD's by design and so on. Shima, well it will always have it's 3x5 launcher setup with fast long range torps, concealment for it is not the biggest asset ( I haven't played it on live so I am not sure meta really allows my statements here, take it with a grain of salt please ).

  24. Simpel, torpedo's have a detection range. Say, 3km. With the module you would spot them at 3x1.25=3.75 km. edit: ninja'd
