Yes it is important, but takes second place after balance. I don't believe it can be balanced as cruiser, the guns are way to big. Cleveland can be tier 8, the proof is in the RU CA's at tier 7 - 8 which show that 15Xmm gun's still work at those tiers.

All of this is irrelevant in any case since the team was chosen by the CCT's themselves and not by anyone associated directly to WG. edit: It was Flamu who said first he thought ST was the team which put up the best fight, and I did not really hear anything from either of the two WG employees until the other CCT's agreed with Flamu's proposal ( though I might be wrong about the last part, I am 100% certain Flamu was the one who 'nominated' ST team ).

Gremmy is tier 5, radar on cruisers comes into play at higher tiers then it will meet.

Since then you been trying to attribute things to it which aren't there. HAS is not intended to spot DD's outside of smoke screen pushes, but it is meant to enable you to dodge those torpedo's you talk about. And it's not even the fact that a single CA can have issues with a high tier DD, it's more a problem because even if you do light them up there are too many plankton's playing the game who will keep trying to hit that enemy CA at max range or that BB around that range then switch the kill the ffin DD as they are supposed to. ps: plankton -> baddies

There is this famous Shimakaze player with less average damage then I do in Umikaze which still plays Shimakaze even when making complaints about it being so expensive... In order words, I don't think it would make that much difference in the skillset of top tier games ( though ofc, people who almost did not play it before will not have the same experience as those who do ). I am more worried about the lower tiers being devoted of experienced players ( as most players with end tier content are at least more experienced and can thus be expected to be better at the game then new players ). Which means experienced people grinding new lines will be in battle with mostly new players instead of also players who don't have premium account / premium ships and would not play tier X because of the economy. Don't think this is good for player retention, with more experienced player on the lower tiers it should statistically be more common to have them in both teams. With lower population numbers there will be games with only more experienced players on one of the teams.

If you never posted on the forum during beta you didn't get the tag ( was applied automatically when you posted during beta period ). Contact support, they might be able to tell you why it is ( maybe you sold in when being totally drunk, wouldn't be the first time I heard someone say he didn't sell it only to remember later on he was so wasted that it was more likely he sold it then anything else ). Also I don't think mine is missing, so I doubt it's something from WG's end. Also patches don't influence the ships in your port, your profile is stored on the server.

Also, OP, learn to multiquite And with your battle count you could have a 85% wr and it would mean just as much as your 15%, as you well know since you say you been reading up/watching other plays for some time ( because you don't want to suck ).
