I am confident that the mods will clean up the spam

This will be the first season I will play, I been told to expect Fuso's but yes NM's seem logical if the games will be CV dominated they would fare better because of their AAA.
-
Same here, it's probably their statistics server being overloaded?
-
Acceptable, yes, sadly there are lots of bad players playing. Our task would be educating them, not punishing them for being worse players,
-
I did not buy Warspite for RB, I think Fuso's will be the mainstay of the BB's and you do have a BIG range disadvantage. But, Fuso's don't have good armor either and Grand Old Lady has some mighty big bewbs guns and very good secondaries for when you do get in proper brawling range

Don't. It's an online gaming community, don't put to much emotion in the discussions. You say Zao is bad because it can't brawl but it's not meant to ( and it actually can, though unlike above I fear Des Moines if they get close due to their raw dpm ). Also it's not about stats, you mention me in the same sentence as Flamu when I barely play end tier ships, I think I played 20 battles or so in my Zao and my results aren't that great. I also don't see how it would influence the statement that Zao doesn't need buffs, it doesn't need them because it doesn't need them not because I have good stats. You yourself said that Zao does very well if played in a style you don't like. Well, if it does really well in that role, maybe it means it should be played in that role and that if you don't like that role, it's not the ship for you? Wait for when the test server will be up again and try out ships there ( you need to play to unlock them just as on live but progression is ofc much quicker ). If you played Zao before you grinded it, would you still complain about the role in which it should be played? Anything with stealth fire capabilities require teamwork to counter, you need DD's to spot ninja Senjou's or planes, or corner it and close the distance. Just as with DD's, vision control is part of the game. It might be that teamwork, in randoms, is really that lacking that the capability on itself is no longer viable, but I got some hope left that this game doesn't have to be dumbed down to cater to such a low denominator that this really becomes an issue. And I say that while I don't play tier X BB s and like said I do have a Zao... but I played enough BB's to have come in situations where stealth firing ships killed me because I couldn't see them and I was out of position in relation with my allies ( or they were already dead ). I also have Greg, and stealth firing at tier 5 at < 10km is <3 I agree that some CA's in the 7-8-9 range are weak ( even compared to their counter parts ) against their same tier BB's.

To add to that, personally I don't get why people assume there are universal rules of engagement which can be summarized with 3 lines.... I won't go in front of a BB if there is no DD threatening him and/or if there is a BB shooting at me and not him, I mean yeah ok I do go in front but I do it WHEN I THINK I SHOULD and not because 'it's an universal rule'. The only universal rule in WoWs is : don't torp from second line. ( ow and ofc everything in the EULA ). After that, all bets are off. edit: just fyi, I promoted these universal rules fully when first starting to play, and throughout CBT mostly. DD - CA - BB / CV is ofc the best starting position. But then it depends on maps, game modes and especially, on the players in your team. Since CBT the quality of teamplay has dropped a lot sadly, and with that drop a lot of the unwritten rules which seemed to work pretty well in CBT can't be followed anymore because following those rules means trusting others to do the same since if they don't you will likely die. That was also the reason to start SGWA and try and help people to become better (team)players.

At least he had the decency to do both native and English, you're talking about me behind my back ( cuz language I don't speak ). Well done
-
Sorry for getting into an argumentative discussion. please go enjoy the game and I wish you much fun at your summer event
-
The thing is, with each HE landed you have a big chance of knocking out enemy modules, HE will cripple the enemy's capabilities as well as lowering their HP. AP will still overpen, you can citadel cruisers from really close range with even the 127mm AP rounds the USN has, you would overpenetrate DD's and that means your damage potential with AP is much lower then with HE.
-
And you're capable of judging good and poor team play how exactly?
-
Please tell me which stupid person would go brawl with Zao's like it's intended to be played that way, please tell me potato senpai Only idiots would think I was comparing a CA with a BB instead of listing 'a ship' ( doesn't matter which type ) strong points and then saying it's still crap because it can't do something it's not designed for. --- And to think WG actually has to take into account $%#$$@$% like above to make balancing decisions....

Also, use torrents if you're worried about MediaFire ( since yes, MF is a potential security risk ), it is very hard to impossible to inject anything in an existing torrent ( unless you can control all the seeds/peers ). Windows also throws a warning if you try to run it after downloading, because of 'insecure content'. But I been using Aslain's since I played WoT and I never had any issues, I trust his assessment in that he checks his uploads carefully ( a single real issue, even if only once, would impact his reputation a lot I guess so it's in his own interest to prevent it as good as he can ). Ofc it is always possible something get's infected after he uploaded it to MediaFire or other hosts, that and the fact that torrents are usually a lot faster are enough for me to always use torrents right now.

Blys doesn't like Mahan's looking at her dirty, if you stare at a Blys with enough ill intent it will sink. Never shoot at a Blys, the shells will add HP to her by ways of magic. Now, if you meet a Blys and it's not mine, shoot it with HE.
-
Offcourse? Why did you come cry here about it then You're really obsessed with not wanting to see cartoon images, does it have something to do with your childhood? Did your parents never let you watch any?
-
But you can't sail of the map, infact if you touch the border for to long your engine power is reduced making you a sitting duck. Unless you mean: people who are near the map edges the entire game. Which would bring us right back to my previous post.
-
Wall of text saying Zao is bad unless you play it wrongly and use it's stealth fire ability? Sorry I stopped reading there but is this really your 'argument'? Please read it back and repeat it out loud while in front of a mirror and look at yourself when saying it. Does that feel ok? Hey, Yamato isn't good, but it has a lot of armor, AAA and really big guns
-
I know people who just let it run up, I think the counter can't pass 99 but yeah. Hope you're satisfied with the game, even with that 'cartoon' picture you once saw in it

Listen if I am in a stealth ship ( Zao, Greg for instance ) you bet your [edited]I will abuse my stealth as long as possible and that means keeping outside of a certain radius, and that means keeping distance. And unlike some people who can't even hit stuff from 1km, I can hit things at that range quite reliably. Now, someone in that battle might think I'm being a coward but frankly I don't care as long as I consistently perform better in game then them. So no, we don't need a 'coward' thing, because you're not capable of proposing a system which can recognize someone playing their ship to it's strengths. Also, sometimes Zao's are cowards and they keep sniping even while the game situation no longer requires it and infact would favor aggressive play. But based on my experience in this game and with it's community, the large part of it wouldn't be capable of judging this situation themselves let alone be capable of coming up with a system which is accurate in it's assessment on behavior being from cowardice, from being a good player, or from being a bad ( aka 'potato' ) player.
-
But the enemy planes have hugged the border and are coming from behind the carrier Seriously, this whole proposal is bullocks, yes there is an issue with cowards in this game, but nothing bigger then in other games. And not bigger then let's say the 'potato' problem.
-
Wow really, you can play hundreds of games without knowing how to dismiss daily mission rewards?
-
So you DID get the sarcastic part as well as the non sarcastic? Great, gives some faith in this community
-
And ARP Myoko's with 16 point captains ( at least )
-
There was sarcasm there but your detector is broken
