Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

He plays to much CV's, no amount of showering will make him appealing to the ladies I'm afraid. Then again, you can always reroll -

Trust me this doesn't work. DD even with CV ( but less ) influence games a lot with even primary spotting. Knowing which ships go where from the enemy gives tactical advantage, this providing vision to team is as important as contesting caps. But if you say you get bored and thus make decisions resulting in you dying first in your BB... you will die much quicker in DD's. But it might teach you more patience -

I got the flu so yeah indeed Furytaco And on tier 5 indeed @Allied_Winter Belfast just feels really dirty to me, I don't enjoy playing it. It also needs a dedicated captain to really shine and I am not going to train a captain just for her she is not worth it. Molotov is broken, no doubts, those guns are the same as on Donskoi. Idk when tho, but I can remember feeling like she was really brittle, but recently each time I played her she even bounced BB's with her angled belt. So basically the one thing I thought made Molotov less broken as Belfast, her being a glass cannon, is now no longer holding up. Or maybe I was just not getting shot by the right players Belfast will always have that toolset, Molotov at least is more susceptible to powercreep ( unless WG does things which make smoke and counter smoke meta less important ). Sorry for OT thread hijack, fever must have taken hold of me -
Look I know I'm not always supportive of WG development choices/directions but EU community team I know are always interested in supporting community content aimed at education of the playerbase. They have sponsored contest for guides in the past, and I know they will entertain this for new guides for the CV section ( since REEwork seems to be finished ). I also don't see this elitist attitude you seem to see, it's pretty clear what makes players good players and what makes others not as good. What? The objective of the game is to win, not to be kind to allies. This is a war simulation, be it arcade, it's not an rpg about chivalry. I've talked about this extensively in the past few days coincidentally, and my opinion is that promoting good gameplay can only be done by making the economy harsher. That way, good play -> you know, which results in winning more games, get's actually rewarded in comparison with the performance of bad players which are now still not feeling any enticement because of economy strain to actually learn how to play. You can not deem any in game action as 'good', because it's to situational. A DD smoking you, is that good? Well if you asked for it.... not if he is blocking vision on the target you want to shoot. A BB which 'tanks' a lot of damage, good thing? Yes, if it's in support of his team trying to secure an objective, no if it's him alone going to a flank and spending five minutes getting shot by half enemy team complaining why you're alone. The rules needed to actually really figure out which actions in the game would need 'recommendation' are to complicated.

I was a bit titled about that 3 BB division running away through center channel, I couldn't get much done with the Belfast threat there even while I was trying to delay. You coming to defend and those others eventually showing up really worked to stop them, which allowed the 3 BB's to actually push out through the channel indeed. I should apologize to them, I was a bit salty in team chat about them and they actually carried themselves pretty well! I guess having such a hard counter on 'my flank' and the counter to that counter advancing in opposite direction made me a a bit critical. Was nice to see that become a victory even while I couldn't really contribute that much. Getting that killing blow on the Belfast was noice tho I remember playing Aoba with the single gun turrets. Never got the complaints really, it was 203's on tier 6 and we were fighting so many Omaha's in each game. Guess powercreep happened. That's why I am glad I got Molotov You can have your IJN 203, I'm taking Stalinium infused 180mm at tier 6. What actually susprised me not long ago, is how gud Myoko still is. That firepower The platform I never really liked but the threat you project to anyone not paying attention is really nice. -

You, the opening post and your responses, all add up to the same conclusion. edit: I can't even see the partial screenshot, can someone repost this important bit of factual information -
Really man I got the flue, yesterday I was playing really gud I had like 2500 pr on some ships I was playing but wr wasn't that impressive, today I'm getting carried the whole time since my reactions are a bit slower with the fever and all.... And again, no one complains about win streaks when they are just as random.
-
So please enlighten me why WG is giving me this recent two day very good win streaks, but sometimes gives me terrible teams with me performing excellent but not enough to carry? You link to 3 patents and proclaim you applied critical thinking, so you should be able to explain to simple minds like me how these patents apply to the streaks people have. edit: especially with your quote including this... This applied to premium MM tanks, never to World of Warships except in reverse fashion ( Imperator Nikolai at release was the only tier IV BB which had +2MM spread, the other tier IV BB's had +1 like they all have now ).

Just in you WG Devs and Co are under any illusions where the dislike is with this game is for new players.

History is important tho, but gameplay supersedes all ( except when submarines do 30kts submerged, that's just out of this world.. ). Nah as long as the player numbers increased, the rest doesn't matter. Numbers don't lie, and don't you dare come up with numbers stating the other numbers are false that would be mean.... Tell that to WG for trying to combine WoWs with Silent Hunter No I mean, tell them more often, and louder -
You do know you can actually check those things right, so making these accusations trying to appear 'catchy' or something is just making you look incredibly stupid https://wows-numbers.com/player/501112274,/?type=pve recent pve games zero. Also probably lot of those ships don't have any games in coop. I do agree tho that 95% wr in coop should be considered extremely bad, I was extremely frustrated at dropping so low ps: most of them were even solo games.. last 3 were in ranked division but my buddy ranked out after those. this is from today solo -> as you can see there is just a fair bit of RNG involved, as I am not performing personally on a the same level as I would expect for the games I'm winning. And that is confirmed by the actual games, especially in Vladi. Most of the games I get dmg in but it's the other flank where most of the enemies are and it wouldn't have mattered if I did what I did or double the enemy was folding anyway it would have just caused them to fold even quicker. Not that much fun really, especially compared to yesterday when I was having the highest performance rating I had during a session in ages and decent but less win rate. Those wins felt better because I actually contributed more to them. Same with Jervis btw, enemy team's are just folding to quick to get decent average damage today. Fletcher is my real nemesis lately, even when I play well I still lose pretty often. It's all pretty random to me, that's the whole point of posting it. Lots of claims of rigging, but never any proof offered.
-
It would proof the impact of allowing them in normal ranked seasons, since if everyone holding on to the dream of ranked being skill based and declaring that divisions would be unfair to them, are still playing ranked sprint, their satisfaction is obviously sufficient for both. Yup that's also true, and a valid point.
-
The one where the one class which 'suffers' the most from their perceived smoke cloud enemies, can more freely roam the back of the maps claiming to be afraid off DD's in an Epicenter map without DD's and only 1 cruiser per team... true story.
-
Yup it was implemented because to many people complained it's 'team's fault' they lost, they had a great game and they shouldn't suffer because of bad MM / team. I said from the start it would create a meta with even less teamwork, to many people go like "I'm losing the game and I can do a> support my team trying to turn it around b> play less aggressive preserve hp and prioritize gaining xp so let's do B because it has the highest chance of success". edit: I wonder, all the people who say divisions should have their own queue.. are you skipping this sprint because there are divisions allowed?

New Italian Cruiser Tier X "Venezia" seen in the wild (in "Random" battle)!

You both are assuming they are spotted. The scary prospect is when it's not spotted and you have no way of knowing if he's going to have a good line of sight on you when you get spotted. It makes DD's play passive, you'll see. No one likes risking 1/2 their HP in one salvo especially not at the start of a game. When they are spotted they can be avoided, and indeed perhaps torped. How is that related to their offensive capability? -
The way ranked is set up just ensures a certain level of toxicity, people not fully committing with saving their star on their mind the moment the match starts, it's frankly pretty offsetting. I wouldn't even call it really competitive because of that, or maybe I should as you're not only competing with the enemy team but also your own.
-
Why do you feel entitled to resources while wanting to deny it to divisions? I acknowledge it's easier in divisions, I wouldn't object to making it harder to progress each step ( needing extra stars or something ) if you elect to play in divisions as that should compensate for the 'easier' progression... or something like that. If ranked was truelly skill based, and if it wasn't infested with people more interested in their potential star is in absolutely at all costs trying to prevent a loss, I might agree with you. But locking resources behind that frustration by disallowing divisions doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Wait wut, you actually think which RANK you obtain shows a level of skill? Maybe when looking at how many games it takes one to rank out consistently, that would be a pretty undeniable skill indicator. But let's please make sure we're excluding the 'I spam 1000 battles in ranked to reach rank 1, I am good player' bs. And I see no reason why a person who spams ranked 1000 times should be entitled to a resource which is highly desirable, but someone as me who even while IN DIVISION is still cursing at the other 5 and finding it just bareable because of the 1 other guy he can actually trust, should be left out of obtaining this resource just because I do not like torturing myself.

Well... it appears that the "Hosho" will be nerfed soon...
mtm78 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Nah they gave back Hosho two torps per drop, which is why it's so effective ( harder to dodge both even for agile ships ). Should have left it at one. WG is acting weird as per usual btw, they think the game was to complicated so they 'needed' to normalize radars and such, but somehow it's less complicated to know the drop patterns of every CV in the game -

mtm78 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
If only.... BB is not the most attractive target anymore. Like uhm Pyotr you mean That is why you play Umizoomi. Plenty of people like the game because they feel immersed while playing in the lower tiers, with more historical ships in game as when you go look at higher tiers. Also, tier 3-4 should be disregarded since it has protected MM still, but from tier 5 the same 'rules' apply. And you have DD's who can stealth torp... and BB's have excellent AA. Thing is Hosho being used to stetpad by mediocre players is manageable for experienced players to some extent, but for new players? -
That's the exact same amount of plane kills as my max at tier 5... also in Pyotr Maybe REEwork actually buffed BB's, and coincidentally RU BB's are among the best

You should. If every new player quits out of frustration, the longevity of this game is guaranteed to spiral downwards.- 136 replies

I'm impressed with your ability to disregard what is written and defy logic by claiming it actually says what you want it to say.
-
Pyotrs plays different tho, Okt Rev. is more a traditional BB while Pyotr is a bow tanking god ( with lower offensive ability, but it's virtually an immovable object unless you flank it ). I don't like Texas since I don't like New Yorck, if I would grind that line I would skip it. The only upside was that CV's didn't touch her dirty really, and now they actually don't care that much. Also if you like Pyotr, why not just play that instead of buying a new premium?

I just remember, seeing how OP has shown he's able to take advice and seems to be a friendly guy, are there still forumites which frequent the WG TS? I was thinking about how we always invited people to come play in a division if they wanted some advice. Anyone still online there ( I haven't used TS in ages ). edit: just checked it's still up, but at least right now there are like 10 people online in the public channels. And only the always resident AJ in Alpha testers channel

So how about you don't die first with minimal battle contribution? There are no real big secrets to 'gitting gud'. It's just effort put into how you approach the game, and trust me both you and your teams will greatly enjoy the game a lot more that way. It's almost unbelievable considering I'm not overall a pretty cautious player but at first I started playing I was hyper agressive thinking that an early advantage for my team was enough of an impact, and I could just blame them for not taking ( full ) advantage of it. Then I realized, it would be more fair to not blame them, but instead try to have an impact throughout the game without overexposing or not pressuring enough. And that what I mean with effort into approach, just try to have a positive mindset instead of even before a battle accepting your impact will be minimal. That's not a fun thing to do when considering the other 11 players on your team imho edit: I should have clicked the notification before replying Like I said, get an Okt. Revolution or an Arizona both are very good ships in their tier ( if not the best ).
