  1. Run your game in safe mode, I heard from others with the same issue and it's caused by one off your installed mods. I had some MONSTER games with Kamikaze ( well, I earned a 800k silver so I was really happy ). Now I also know why some people always seemed to have more credits then me, if for nothing else I should play ranked for that
  2. Different play style? When I see RU WoT SPG's charging as scouts on the PT idk really..

    Self-Policing the Forums

I agree. Luckily, the amount of people really being so abusive, abrasive, elitist, pretentious and making generally unhelpful comments or threads isn't that high. I see way more helpful and friendly posts then anything else, and if there are such threads well it seems there is always a hidden agenda at play with some unresolved personal issues.

    Fail divisions

Stopped reading there, thanks for your duly noted opinion on that matter. Respectfully, I disagree. If WG is finally looking at WoT and fail platoons, WoWs surely won't be left behind. Seems? It doesn't btw. Maybe MM v2 will though ( it was their main priority afaik ;) ). Facts over fiction please. edit: ps, more facts ;) http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/53745-questions-and-answers-st-petersburg-may-2016/page__pid__1085694#entry1085694
  6. Yubari was advertised as 'sky sweeper', so I can't argue about that aspect. But while proving AAA support is nice and can be fun, I played Yubari like a fire starter, because of it's long range ( using Kuma captain or other lower tier IJN CA's which at the time DID benefit from AFT ) it could engage ships over a long period of time and because of that the amount of fires would eventually lead to quite a lot of fire damage over time. edit: It might be that it wasn't the intended play style, but it was mighty fun
  7. Yubari has always been weakly armored, the change which hurt it was the loss of AFT. Warspite, I still do ok in mine, turrets always been slow and this never changed.. My highest XP ship is Sims, it is excellent for domination matches ( and quite useless for standard I feel but meh ). For an unplayable ship I find it remarkably easy to make good money and XP with her. Gremmy bad? You must be playing a different game, Gremmy kept the firing penalty it had, unlike the regular RU dd's, it kept the fire chance it had, unlike the other RU dd's, it can stealth fire at 9.9km with CE and cammo paint, and you call it bad? It's one of the most fun DD's in the game, and very strong in it's tier. Anshan is basically a slightly better one which is still doing fine a tier higher.

    Nurnberg captain skills

My GE CA captain ( currently playing Nurnberg but she will move up the ranks and might get respecced later on ) 1. Basic survivability and concealment and acquisition 2. incomming fire 3. vigilance 4, demo expert Expert Marks man would be handy, the turrets turn quite slowly but it doesn't bother me enough to find it any issue. I use the range of the ship enough to be able to afford a bit more time to get other orientations / angels on the enemy team, and I find Nuernberg quite the tactical surgeon knife. I do less damage then in Aoba or Cleveland, but I still very much capable of influencing games and pulling out victories ( 75% win rate so far ). The key is to not loose hp during the start of a match, you're a long range sniper, not a scout, remember that. Support your DD's initial push, if you come under enemy BB fire or even equal or more cruiser firepower, you gtfo and your rear turrets will allow you to do that and still deal damage quite reliably. Yes, you can loose engine and steering, like with most CL's with poor armor, so last stand might be worth it. I didn't choose it because I find incoming fire a better choice for a ship which I use to snipe at long range. It makes it easier to be elusive and making the enemy miss, and the bad armor and low hp make it that you have to play it like that ( in the start of games, the moment ships starts dying you're an excellent finisher because of nice accurate DPM, you just lack the durability to last long in trades. So, avoid trading as much as possible.

I still like the game, and I bet there are plenty around who do even if you 'create a problem' Civil disobedience is fine, just packing your bags if you don't like it is fine as well, but don't make them ruin other players enjoyment just to 'proof a point' to WG please

immune svietlana to my budyony shots.. hacking?

I had games with small calibre HE where I had > 300 hits and less then 5k damage ( unlucky with the fires I guess ). Small HE's is not mainly for dealing damage ( depending on targets ) but if you can hit deck/superstucture reliably you will start a lot of fires per match due to very high rof usually of those small guns. It's the way it is, sometimes really small HE you're just SOL, if you keep hitting either depleted or to highly armored sections. It's not a bug in the game, it's not even bad game design ( because, as I said, those high rof HE spamming ships when played right will on average have a high amount of fires started / fire damage ). It just means you a> have to know who to shoot and b> where to hit him ( and then actually be able to hit him there ). Especially the RU 130mm AP is very good against cruisers, but everywhere where that DD can pen with your cruisers can also pen with AP. It's just a matter of aiming well. The difference is, with some of the GE and VMF CA's you don't want to be at that place where the DD can AP citadel other cruisers or over penetrate BB's hull with AP ( bow + stern ), because those DD's are fast and small your cruisers are not ( and don't have much more armor vs those BB shells ). As to comments on specific games, please provide a replay for all to see. Without replay, your anecdote isn't more then that an anecdote

    Dear Wargaming Employees

The only thing I really can not agree on, is that contributors need to be rewarded by WG, that would turn them into employees as there is a task - reward situation. When it becomes a employee relationship, contributors are less likely to be honest if they don't like something, they wouldn't want to loose their rewards. That is what I would be afraid off, you would lose the 100% certainty that information is unbiased. And you're right, early access to ships is not a reward, it's a part of the task you want to fulfill for the community in previewing ships as a contributor. But if you want to be a contributor, you're doing it for the community. If you want a job with WG as Community Manager or Coordinator, apply for them. Content creation by contributors is quite normal, I don't know how normal it is for them get into a work relationship and get direct revenue from WG for it. I do know contributors which are able to make revenue with their social media accounts where they share their previews.

    Dear Wargaming Employees

Just be wary that attention can be both positive and negative, showing you're angry is 'acceptable' but trying to force decisions based on threats is not. This is just me saying what I feel, I really don't enjoy this situation and I really hope something positive comes out of it. Hopefully I am not the only one thinking that way

    Dear Wargaming Employees

Thanks for the update. Moderating forums is not an 'in between job' depending on the activity off course, I hope Falathi will get some more visible support. But remember, we had this in EN section to, and we got new people ( Ph3lan and more since ), it just took time and that is understandable I feel. About news feed access, I am not sure if this would be viable because of the information flow. What we always suggested to WG was to not wait for the translations but to immediately post the EN articles, since other communities would also be capable of doing their own translations while waiting for official one's. The contest issue is where you gained the most sympathy, I to think such an event is ill planned and executed if in hindsight people are being told they won't get their prices. But, I don't believe in ill intent and I trust that you agree everyone can make mistakes once and that is doesn't mean it will be something structural. Carnotzet deserves his title, as well as anyone in PL section doing the same, in my opinion that is. But I don't think contributors should have forum powers ( by default, there would be nothing wrong with hand picking someone who is a contributor but who would perhaps also be well suited for moderating ) or that they need special rewards. Contributors often have advanced access to new ships and maybe even more, and they get the respect of the community for how well they do their jobs. If you want to reward a contributor, make it an community effort, they are doing it for us not for WG. So if you see someone who you think deserves something special organise something so community can donate really small amount of money which combined would be more than enough to buy contributors any reward you would like them to have. I don't feel this is WG's responsibility, a contributor does give WG a hand in marketing and public relations, but they are not employees ( who usually sign something preventing them from talking bad about their boss ). changing contributors to WG employees shifts allegiance and blurs the lines between those who do something for the community and those who want to capitalize on the community. Because, if you're asking WG to go spend more money to contributors, you do know this money will come from community anyway. About the guides, we had the IJN high tier BB guide contest for SGWA, I'm currently trying to set up a new guide writing contest for DD's ( sponsored by WG just like the last one ). I mention this because WG is not the bad guy here, they are willing to give rewards for adding really helpful content, but organizing it might take some time. I don't think threats are the way to go here Seriously, you got your dialogue running now right, don't push your luck. How can someone make a threat, and at the same time petition for banned users to be reinstated?

    [12.6.0] Aslain's WoWS ModPack Installer

Could be, idk really, I did indeed notice that if it works, there is no one who put their stats to private. Still an odd way to try and gain 'acceptance' ( if that is why it just ceases to work when there is even one guy who took steps against it ).

How can i improve my win rate?

Not every forumite is that good Noodles And there is not one there who really does care about your win rate or rating when you ask for a division, if there is a spot you would be on it. The password isn't play4fun for no reason, the name isn't 'Forumites' because it's an alias for 'Unicums' ( it isn't, right ) it's a place for people who play the game and also visit the forums. The only reason most forumites are not bad players is because they are forumites, people who spend time reading the forum and learning mechanics and hopefully are also applying them in game ;) Well that and there are quite a lot of really good players who still don't judge you on your performance

    Fail divisions

Uhm they are from my own imgur account, I got literally thousands on my hdd as well don't ask me why I kid of collect them if I find them funny And you're trying to justify fail divisions by pointing to captain skill is a failure because 99% of the fail divisions are not made up of unicums. You being a a defender of them kind of proofs that quite clearly?

immune svietlana to my budyony shots.. hacking?

No that was the SPG tracer mod, but nice try edit: and this mod worked because the CLIENT was rendering the SHELL, the shell leaves from where the vehicle is but the CLIENT still doesn't 'really' knew where the tank/spg was only that 'A SHELL' was fired from location A to location B and it knew this because it had to RENDER it on the screen if you had to happen to look in the sky in the direction of the shot ( and no the client server connection is not that instant that it would only send that data if the viewport contained the location of the shell being underway, that is technically not possible ). As I said before, client should not be aware of unspotted ships.

immune svietlana to my budyony shots.. hacking?

Why would it HAVE to send positional data for unspotted ships? Have you ever played World Of Tanks? It uses the same engine, the biggest 'radar' mod there was a minimap mod which showed the destruction of fences, trees and other scenery, for the exact reason that positional data for unspotted tanks is not send to the client.
  23. mtm78

immune svietlana to my budyony shots.. hacking?

Yes they are send between server and client ( location data ) but ONLY for spotted ships, and the server decides which ship is spotted not your client and it will not communicate the location of unspotted ships. And go look around at the aimbot forums ( obviously not linking them ) and you'll find they had to remove their aim assist because WG was detecting it and banning people for using it ;) edit: and btw, that torp example is HP depletion of sections of ships, it a document game mechanic and regular people will try to use it if they can. For instance with Kagero I once took 4 torps in a single game without dying, from a Shimakaze ( 20k dmg torps ) because after the first two hit the same bow section and depleted all it's HP, the next two did no damage. Try it in game, it really works.
