Read what I said again. People would just rush more, play careless because dying would be less frustrating. You want the ship back right after dying because it's frustrating to wait right, that is what you said. Doesn't matter if it would actually increase their hourly XP gain, I don't really care, but I do care about players in my team who are powergrinding and who throw away their ship needlessly for whatever reason, just because they know they can take it out again right after sunk regardless if the match would drag on for ten minutes.

Aimpoint was not really clear, first couple of salvo's looked like you were aiming way to low but then it looked a lot better ( but you still didn't get the expected damage numbers ). Also, it looks like you were having some lag issues as I found the replay quite jumpy at times ( might be a replay bug as well ). Also, the issue seems to be that aiming below waterline at ships at close distance throws of the built in aim assist ( feels like you're getting the dispersion associated with not having a target lock, or well it feels that way.. would explain why from six shells fired in each salvo from your two front turrets you were only hitting 3 shells most of the times ). And, if you aim AT the waterline at such distances, the angle is to steep to penetrate the citadel, it will give a normal pen ( no citadel ) or if unlucky you might even overpen because of hitting above the citadel and being so close ( the 180mm has really good punch ). Can't argue with that

looking for people to play the game with l am from netherlands

Both Forumites channel and SGWA are not clans. Forumites channel is an in game chat channel and SGWA is a community where you can play the game with others interested in learning how to actually play the game ( which also has a in game chat channel, and our own website and shared teamspeak server with STGA which does the same for World of Tanks ). We, SGWA, do not care about clans, we got people in our community from a whole lot off different clans as well as people who never played in one ( and don't want to either ). The teamspeak server is also a place where you can look for people to play with. If your English is sufficient it definitely helps as the Dutch subchannel is almost always deserted ( the Dutch people who are active on the server are mostly residing in the English section ). Teamspeak is a voice chat application designed to work with larger groups of people. You can have dozens of people in the same channel all playing ( technically.. ), some together some alone, and it's usually a real blast! If you find to many people to distracting from the game, you can always move to one of the different rooms with whoever you are playing with at the time. I will add something in Dutch just in case.

Lol so someone gave you a compliment, whoopie doopie doo! I get them all the time, yet I don't feel compelled of making screenshots of them or posting them here, I am not that insecure you know But let's agree, you're god's greatest gift to earth, if you were a boxer you would have beaten Ali with one hand tied behind your back. You're better then the greatest, you're incredible, whole cities come out and throw parade's when you visit. Right up to your ..... -
Got to admit this was my thoughts as well ( well, tbh it was a bit more harsh then you put it ). I'm sorry but on almost all salvo's I see the shells hit the water way to far from the ship? edit: so far in front they have no chance of traveling all the way under water to the ship. You can see this for yourself by actually counting the hits vs shots fired.

Ow we know about your ego, sometimes we just have to confront it with reality Everyone here knows RB is a lottery, the team with the most amount of potato's loses most of the time. Sure, if you can organise everyone and get them to play coordinated, you can beat better players playing uncoordinated, but I don't see this happening ( edit: often.. ) myself. -

Low dmg number, but 2 single caps and 2 assisted cap's, and you cleaned up two low hp enemies. Well played, but what is it supposed to illustrate? You do realize that without someone like me or japlance ( since you told me doing dmg doesn't equal ability to win I feel free to add myself to this discussion ), that pitiful amount of damage would never be enough to sink two ships, or to secure a victory. I can imagine the only reason you could cap that much is because the damage dealers in your team were pushing back the enemies giving you space to cap and win the game. So, as I see it, you're not showing off some awesome skill here, you're showing off how two different playstyles ( tbh, in a Hatsu your task is to be a ninja and cap / finish low hp targets or to go after the BB's if the cap zone's are under control already ) complement each other to win games. Which is, imo, what japlance tried to make clear. -

I bought a Spite not that long ago and I don't feel she is really underperforming atm in ability to tank AP when properly angled ( though you do get more 'odd' dmg then I expected ), I just find it a lot harder to land devastating strikes with her recently, it is as if the sigma value of the guns changed. The new armor scheme is being tested first on DD's as any odd behavior ( bouncing a DD with a BB shell ) will be easier to spot and fix. WG has indicated not to expect really big changes, that the changes were mostly in being able to make smoother transitions between armor layers ( angles? joints? ). I think this might result in better or worse performing armor especially with certain 'suspicious' area's ( front turret off Tirpitz anyone? ). If that applies to specific ships or not, well I am just as eager to find out -

Wait did that enemy cv tk someone ( doh, rhetorical question... ). What happened? -
Hi Colin. If the channel is empty, you're probably in the wrong channel ( or it 's weekend and early during the day, Forumites channel is less active during weekends due to influx of weekend warriors on the server :bandit: ). Search for 'Forumites' ( WITH the capital F, this is very important ), the channel should be made by Sturmtiger304 ( and the password is super secrit 'play4fun' ). WG has been so kind to sponsor us with a teamspeak server, the address is :- 92.223.3.90:9989 Besides the ts and the Forumites channel, if you want to be part of a fun community aimed at teaching new players the ins and outs of the game, click on the link in my signature to go to our pinned Specialist Global Warships Academy thread in the newcomers area. Hope you're enjoying the game already, and trust me it only gets better from here edit: partially ninja'd, but Wolfy there forgot to promote SGWA ( as a member and potential instructor level participant, not even linking to it in his signature, I feel a flogging might be in order, and if not that I might suggest keelhauling ).

I think the most important thing regarding armor is waiting for WG to fully move to the new armoring scheme ( starting with DD's ) and then off course most importantly the addition of an armor viewer in the port. The armor viewer hopefully takes a hint from Tank Inspector and will allow 'shooting' at the model and showing the resulting path and penetration power off the shell. -
MM makes mistakes even without divisions, luckily MM v2 is underway according to the Q&A thread

Don't forget my 29% DD's they love setting fires as well But, if you look at my performance, I do equally well ( or bad if you would like to qualify it as such ) in my 26% of games in my battleships. That is why I can say the mechanic is balanced, I can use it against BB's or other ships and in BB's I can deal with the fire damage inflicted to me. It's pretty uncommon for me to die to fire damage ( alone ).

I am sorry we don't seem to be able to reach a consensus

Mhm I win enough in randoms where teams are bigger and I am less reliant on any other individual. But yes, you're right, I should have won that one, instead of trying to kill their last BB if I just hid we would have won by points eventually. I was brash and cocky, and thought I could get a Kraken to secure an epic victory. -

Tbh I was tangling with two BB's and a DD on the south west of the map preventing them from coming towards south east cap, and rest of team went to north ( but so far north they let enemy slip through to the cap, a Cleveland which is not the ship I want to tangle with especially since I was still busy with the other ships. I have to admit I had to quit, the salt level in game was already to darn high but I'm afraid I might punch my screen if it happens again in the next game without some time to cool down Best part was my team telling Aoba he was doing so well... guess they didn't like me asking why the heck they were so far north But hey, the skill based aspect is actually quite true here. I lost the game, but since I got more XP then the top guy in the winning team let alone my own team I didn't loose a star. Either way I would to propose a new system ( ) if you lose but get more XP then the top guy in the winning team, just gib me star WG gib gib gib I earned it ( well not really since I still lost ). -
BB mafia spotted? Yup, 66% of games in a BB Fires are fine, so is fire damage.

Look, if this was truly skill based, don't you think I deserved a victory here ps: I might have lost it myself though, Aoba was capping last base so we would have had two bases and only enemy Warspite. Got a bit to cocky and died Was also really frustrating seeing team so out of place during the match. -

mtm78 replied to txtspeak's topic in General Discussion
Whoever told you everything is skill based was lying If that is bad game design, I don't think so. The addition of not loosing stars for coming first in a losing team makes it already more skill based now then before. But ye I know people who got to rank 1 in previous seasons and who I would love to have on the enemy team in a battle, but if it's really as simple of throwing enough at a wall for something to stick that's not really true either. It's probably both skill and luck with the MM, in what ratio would be almost impossible to truly answer. -

Did not take click bait, reported post so mods can move it to proper location

mtm78 replied to txtspeak's topic in General Discussion
Hard? Nope, it's frustrating as it's basically the luck of the draw with which 6 randoms you get into a team and how many potato's there are on the enemy team in relation to yours. RB != skill.
