My system is pretty comparable. 3770 - 16gb - win10 x64 - hd7850 Most probably cause is still your gpu drivers, don't use BETA drivers ( 16.6.1 is available but not certified ). Using 16.3.2 I got no issues.

Open a ticket with support and include this -> https://eu.wargaming.net/support/kb/articles/596 I seen it before, but I can't recall the cause or solution.

Maybe you play it too passive to benefit from it? If it's the most popular build, it's unlikely to be universally useless, it just doesn't seem to match your particular play style?

Big ranked battles compilation thread so we dont have multiple other threads discussing the same thing.

Yes you are not alone, look for 'Hamster died' thread -

You can not have a discussion about balance without touching upon statistical performance Be that individual player performance, which is a basis on which people can form their personal opinions, or server wide stats which show how she relates to the other ships in her tier. edit: And this wasn't a 'friendly chat' thread you were asking for buffs, your poll even indicates your bias, both in the choice of words and in the fact that you had to add the options 'leave it as it is' AFTER you made the thread.

https://eu.wargaming.net/support/kb/articles/50 Instead of pingplotter, WG added a network check in their own issue checker.
-
This is not possible because balancing is done based on performance and you can't predict performance exactly, because the player base is big and made up out of humans. Humans seem to be able to improvise and do things which developers can't always predict. That is why balancing is done continuously, with changes to individual ships or game mechanics. Also as pointed out above, the game is ever evolving which results in shifting balance throughout the development cycles of a game.

Another suggestion: could you add not just dmg per shell and number of guns but make it easy for everyone and give raw dpm numbers? I think that is also very helpful for new people to judge which engagements are beneficial and which are not.

That is WG's custom 404 page ;)

Evidently opinions are split on the issue subject.

This is exactly the point in case. Discussions about game balance are reliant on insight in how one's opinion is formed by his performance. I think Warspite is fine overall, other then what I pointed out, the sometimes 'strange' unexpected damage it can take. I base that on my performance in her which is on par with my other battleships. The notion it suffers a lot from high tier battles is also true, this is because of the range becoming a way bigger issue as well as that when being shot at range you're receiving plunging fire which is more deadly then 'brawling' engagements. Overall though, Warspite performs just fine, this is reflected in her server wide statistics as well as based on my own performance. The poll so far indicates this as well. Anyone can disagree, we all are entitled to this, and everyone's opinion is worth the same in the beginning. But, you can strengthen an opinion when providing facts, or you can weaken it by omitting them, which is the case in point. I would rather have discussions based on facts then opinions, which is why I stopped responding.

Idk either I was thinking out loud

It was my Asperger talking, sorry for nitpicking

Yes, I even learned that from you Brawling is bad ( close range ) due to turret traverse not keeping up ( depending on targets ofc, I specifically think of 'brawling' when engaging USN DD's at < 5 km range. Also, Fubuki is a viable gunboat with CE and AFT, 2km stealth fire capability with good fire chance and high alpha means people don't like it even when raw dpm isn't that high. just not a gunboat against other DD's.
-
Not 100% true, dispersion also affects decision making in that it might force you to get within certain ranges to be most efficient with your main armament?

Lowest fire prevention % of all BB's

Nice writeup surprised I didn't run accross it earlier. Bit confused as to which 'guide' ends up in newcomers section and which in ship specific sections, I would put this in the former. I have some points though I would like to address. !. I use my guns all the time on my Fubuki... 2km stealth firing range ( retrained Shima captain back to Fubuki as I find it a lot more fun ). 2. You mention concealment for all ships ( with optimal gunboat config's / hull option ) but you don't mention the concealment when firing main guns. Also giving concealment numbers with and without CE would be nice for new people. 3. I never argue with EsaTuunanen about Gremmy play's, if I do he ends up taking me out for a spin in a Gremmy division and trust me it's really rare if I manage to beat him on the team's xp list ( though yes it happens now and then ). Seriously, my Gremmy does not have last stand and I do not miss it one bit. I am not nearly as good in mine as Esa is in his, but Gremmy is good for TWO things mainly -> 9.9km stealth firing capability messing up anything it meets, and killing of unsuspecting cruisers from close range with AP. You don't brawl with DD's with Gremmy, if you do that you're using her wrong. And because of that, you don't need last stand as badly.

I been doing it wrong the whole time, I was using left click It means that the AAA guns fire automatically at targets which are in range, also orientation and arcs of AAA do not count they have a fixed size aura in which they deal their damage. All of this is explained in the sticky in this section called '[basics] AA mechanics'.

allufewig, on 15 June 2016 - 08:32 AM, said: Because they are not useful. Actually there are like ~30% (maybe more?) people who deliberately spec into confirmed crap builds. It might be fun, but it is objectively not a good idea to go secondary if you are remotely concerned with being efficient. I don't agree with your assessment, I had a secondaries specced Nagato and I loved it,Just knowing that unlike with other builds, your secondaries are going to be actually useful allows you to be much more aggressive. Same with Warspite, 7.2km range means I often can keep my main guns on one target and ignore other low hp ships which are really close.

I am counting on incoming damage to be much more predictable with the new armor revision and the upcomming ( not sure when ) armor viewer. In combination they should make it visible how to properly angle in each ship.
-
I will beat your Amagi in a brawl with a Nagato, not sure about NC as I haven't played USN BB's since CBT.

Amagi is not a brawler, not enough armor imo. As for North Cal, maybe. She does have the armor imo but I haven't seen many secondary builds North Cal's myself.

Yes I to think Nagato is the one which stands out here, but honestly it was the only tier 7 and below ( together with Warspite who keeps her secondaries upgrade ) BB which had a viable secondaries build. I wonder what the effect will be in game, on higher tiers I expect BB's to be more aggressive, but if they become less aggressive on lower tiers.. idk, let's wait and see? edit: Warspite will have access to the Secondaries mod 3 upgrade, think this was said on NA forums first by a developer there ( sorry if I can't find the source right now, but afaik it's 100% official ). Reason behind this was the very large amount of Warspites out there now which are set up as secondary build, it is by far the most popular build for the Grand Old Lady.

I like the idea of more customization for ships being reflected in their models Breaks immersion SBF, all ships are modelled after their historical blueprints/models ( depending on which ship you're talking about ) and many people like this game because of the details of the models. The spinning radar is a part of this.
