NO! System recovery is NOT needed and just way overboard. Recommending this to someone who might not know anything about computers or operating systems is not a good thing. What if it breaks other programs, you don't know how old his latest recovery checkpoint is. Also, "deinstall Aslain and start the game, it will re-install the latest update"???? What does that even mean? Just delete the files in res_mods and run the game launcher, and run integrity check on game files. Problem solved! If not, download WGCheck and have it run a diagnostics. Then if game runs in vanilla, install latest modpack if you want to.

I guess you're pointing out we're both acting a bit juvenile Sorry for the first post I guess, I should have been more clear right away that I like animations but don't see any added benefit from not ending the match when the game is won or lost.
-
You played 20 battles in total, you won 90% of them ( in coop ofc )...
-
To hell with just playing the game and it ending when you win, I want to look at the sinking ship because I like looking at pixels animations and screw the rest who don't care about animations AFTER the game ended. During the game they add immersion, I advocated a lot for more/better sinking animations WHILE THE GAME LASTS. It's just senseless to expect people to be ok with having to watch them AFTER the game ended already. So, maybe that cleared something up, I certainly hope so

You 'switch' to a WoWs game which can last up to 20 minutes? WoT games average around 5 to 6 minutes. Doesn't sound very effective. I also hope this doesn't mean you're one of those tempted to go afk and play 'the other game' if something isn't to your liking.

Kapten_Kaos, on 15 July 2016 - 08:37 AM, said: When the game ends with a kill, you are not even allowed to watch the final explosion. The game is cut mid-explosion which feels so unsatisfying. I cant believe people are defending this. I play the game to win, not to watch explosions

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
mtm78 replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
There is a way around that, I can quote the comment and continue the discussion here How the mods would/should handle it was already discussed but so far nothing has been said about it in public at least. I guess they might be seeing how this initiative fairs before commenting on it. -
WOWS#1 - Tiering System & Power Progression
mtm78 replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
It does if you state you don't need full tech tree's. No I don't. I don't see impending doom. I see some people who have a big interest in historical accurate dreadnought battles, and that is good, but it doesn't mean 'inevitable disaster' when the game doesn't 100% cater to their wishes. I wouldn't complain, I didn't sign up for Historical Battle reenactments for no reason! I would love to be able to fight WWI and before dreadnoughts and contemporary armored cruisers, but I don't think having it in PvP is essential for the prosperity of the game. A PVE coop mode would be preferable, AI balanced vs stock hull dreadnoughts and allows actual battle reenactments with scripted events perhaps. Also, we might not have all the ships in the game, but sign up in the Historical Battles lobby and participate in the reenactments, it's always fun when we do them! -

Teamkiller (Pink) Status. Current system is not fair/logical.
mtm78 replied to TripleHopCita's topic in General Discussion
It is. Your torps, your responsibility. No discussion possible. I threw a tantrum yesterday 3 times because idiots got me killed torping from behind forcing me stop or turn or eat friendly torps.... And I'm such an idiot, I keep forgetting to just run into the friendly torps and hope they turn pink and get banned, instead I try to dodge them and die to enemy The torping from behind $%^$%^#$ players are the worst this game has to offer, worse then the pathetic campers and QQ's about MM being bottom tier crybaby's. -
WOWS#1 - Tiering System & Power Progression
mtm78 replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
Yes, why would WG make complete tech tree's? Who cares about minor details like that, as long as we get a proper dreadnought game.. Ow wait, this is World Of Warships, not World Of Dreadnought and screw the rest. -
This! The amount of coward and kampers is the issue. Just yesterday I got so disgusted with some xx% potato's which kamped behind islands and when asked why 'I don't like this MM I am -2'... He was in a BB.. Not enough reports for all these 'figures'.

you're right.. but I will forget that and keep calling it glorious socialist sheep anyway
-
Yeah using IJN DD's in the tier spread argument is a bit unfair, anything which can stealth torp and doesn't have a tremendous speed disadvantage scales well with tiers.
-
That is one of the balancing factors, torpedo protection isn't stronk Luckily usually DD's are potato enough to let you kill them before they inflict to much dmg to glorious socialist sheep
-
Thanks I already knew my Imperator Nicolai I was broken and needed buffs, now I understand it needs AAA </sarcasm>

Those reports are not meant to report WG bots ( the one's with :Tirpitz: or :Scheer: or :Nimitz: and so on as name, with a ":" before and after the name ).

Why do you think this? Do you see my Scharnhorst stats in my profile? No? Why do you think you don't? -

Ok you didn't, but you have to admit, trying to make them balanced doesn't seem to be a bad thing to strife for -

Unique gameplay aspects to premiums are fine imo, as long as they are balanced in performance with their regular counterparts. I think Lo Yang is a good example, different but balanced? Texas not sure, seems to have more upsides then downsides compared with New York. Atago vs Mogami... nah I won't even go there -

I think the calibre progression is a good explanation, though I confess I think it wouldn't be enough for purists who really want to stick with historical configurations. But to them, as I posted in another thread, I would like to quote a specific part: Not sure about Mogami, the 155's would be fine if they didn't have the terrible turret traverse.. -
Ow chips, sorry for that, I should have said beforehand my RU is weak sauce I would love it if Ph3lan or someone from WG staff could confirm this number to be correct ( though I am not even sure, I guess it's for RU cluster or was it globally? ).

Yeah but not from me, I am done here. source Continue to try to fight the wind as long as please
