Where is german BB ın publıc test?

I agree completely, it was suggestive and people have a right to be upset about it. On the other hand, it should be clear to them their valid reason to be upset is not that 'the company' lied to them, but that they did not read the fine print ( aka full patch notes ) or didn't try to look through the commercial aspect. As I said before: do you know that commercial from Axe where all those beautiful women come from all over the place to the guy who is wearing Axe deodorant? If you buy some and don't get the same attention, do you blame it on yourself for not getting it's not an accurate representation, or do you sue the company because of false advertising? I fully understand that it makes precedentes, and that community impressions should be quite important for a company. But, I also think people might overreact a bit here, it should have been quite clear that they could not test ships which were still under NDA. But, that would require people to have prior knowledge before reading the announcement ( knowing that the ships are still under NDA ), and that alone makes the clickbait a worse 'offence'. I'm a bit torn here, overall both parties should do better, WG should word their announcement less ambiguously and people should do their own research before complaining to much.

    Fail Divisions

Sorry, yes you're right I sounded pretty pedantic which was far from the intention So yes, thanks for voicing your opinion, and I hope you feel better for doing so. What effect it will have I can probably tell you before hand, because this discussion is not new ( not even close ). WG does not want skill based matchmaking because it does not work, skill based matchmaking would force everyone to a 50% win rate eventually, and that is not what WG wants. They want to reward skill by allowing better players to farm lesser players ( never officially said this way, but 'good players should be capable to excel versus lesser players' is something I read directly in earlier topics about possible skill based matchmaking ). Not saying this is holy gospel, but in my experience it is very hard to change WG's mind on topics they have a set policy on. And the 'no skill based matchmaking' is a pretty set in stone policy from my point of view. If I like it or not, not 100% sure. As I said, I've grinded my teeth before because of losing because my team succeeded to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory after I tried my darnest to carry them. On the other hand, many of the games I 'carried' were because of the lower skill level of my opponents. I think it evens out over time, and because of that I am not a 'we must have skill based matchmaking or the world will end' guy. But, for some gamemodes, like a true 'ranked battle' ladder style, it's a different situation altogether. The biggest hope I got is for some team based continuous game mode, which will offer skill based matchmaking so you can play with your team versus teams off comparable strength. That will be nice to have in addition to randoms ( and Team Battles is a nice start, but the MM isn't that good maybe because of to low team count at times.. meh I think most people know what Team Battles was lacking so far anyway so no need to get into it ).

Omaha. Should I sacrifice Virgins to skip her?

I admit I am going more from personal experience then from recent global stats. Might be that was wrong for me, I still think very highly of Omaha and clones because of something Dropsiq mentioned here

With some people playing in division means cursing at eachother the entire battle because it's actually more a competition with them then an actual battle with the enemy. The times I missed out on broadsiding cruisers because one of my division members was loaded before me... with my shells hitting a wreck because the other guy just landed a devastating strike, and me cursing like a sailor on teamspeak... Ofc splitting classes helps a lot, and usually also boosts winrate a lot higher as with 3 BB's in a domination game you're less able to carry then if you brought a DD with your division. But then again, sometimes the 'competition in the competition' is just as much fun as the actual game

Where is german BB ın publıc test?

It is not trolling, in my opinion those who post here whining about not being able to test are more trolling then those who tell them to read the actual announcement ( though again, yes it was clickbait, yes people can find that objectionable, but that is it, nothing more ).

Sorry if I misinterpreted, I read it like you said that divisioning makes all tracked gameplay stats irrelevant, but it isn't irrelevant nor impossible to actually get an indication of skill even if a player only divisions. edit: and sorry for the smiley it was meant to indicate I didn't understand why you mentioned your own lack of patience to illustrate a point which should apply to the entire playerbase From the people I know ( and been playing with ), there is a general consensus that win rate will change the most ( positive ), average damage will usually suffer though. But that is with divisions with equal skilled players, so off course this does not apply to someone joining a division of players well above or below his own skillset.

Preferential Matchmaking for Arizona and Warspite Needed

THAT! There is no issue I can see with +-2 MM, it's only about the distribution of the games where you are bottom / mid / top tier. So far, the new MM system seems to be a bit harsh on certain tiers ( but then again, this was always more or less the case, like not playing to much tier 8 late night as you will be drawn into tier X a lot ). WG has the actual numbers, I know we got topics on this and that players are also tracking their own distribution. I hope people will not confuse issues with battle tier placement distribution over x number of games with the actual battle tiers. If you feel it's basically ok to be -2 but you're getting to many of them, leave your feedback in the new matchmaker feedback thread

    Is Flint really that OP?

Well the best suggestion so far is finding some people with both Flint and Atlanta's, and ask them to play a significant number of games in them from now on ( to eliminate old Atlanta stats being an influence ). But I can already predict that Flint will have much better results, smoke is much more useful certainly in randoms then radar. And the divisions we seen on streams with 2 flint's for smoke + Atlanta for radar + hydro are in randoms extremely dominant.

Omaha. Should I sacrifice Virgins to skip her?

Basically, CA is 8 inch or bigger ( Yorck / Moskva ), where 11 inch would be BB's ( which still makes Alaska class cruisers / battle cruisers / cruiser capital ... see the issue already with actually naming them properly as their designation changed during their lifetime ). Anyway, if OP really wanted he could try the lines on the PT server and maybe prevent him from going down a line he wouldn't like on live in the future.

Bad player divisioning with better player will improve his stats but after gaining the needed skill/insight he will get the same if not higher avg damage playing solo. That you lack patience to play right when playing solo does not mean that this extends to the rest of the playerbase

    Matchmaking Chart

+-2 MM is fine, people just need to learn how to play when not top tier. The difference in tier spread is by far not as influential as in WoT, and the MM lately is stellar in creating balanced teams. So what, you're not the biggest baddest ship in the battle, I don't care. You're still not worse off then your counter on the enemy team, just deal with it. WG runs a company, the intent is making money, having a stock ships which people upgrade using free xp from other ships ( converting at times with gold/doubloons ) is part of the business model. Also, see above.

    Fail Divisions

Never heard of tongue in cheek remarks? Or maybe a language barrier. I dislike playing with baddies as well ( well I need them to farm some damage and wr on ofc ), but 1. I have not seen anyone with a sub 30% win ratio ( with sufficient sample size ), in fact it's extremely likely there are not many people sub 40%. 2. If the ships are the same tier, it's not a fail division. 3. WG will not go into skill based matchmaking.

Preferential Matchmaking for Arizona and Warspite Needed

What do you think giving ships protected MM is?
  15. But even as top tier it doesn't mean you will win more often ( only if you're actually capable of using that 'advantage' for your team aka if your skill would be higher then the skill of a random other player ). MM distribution overall has far less influence on win rate in WoWs then in WoT anyway, since in WoWs you generally can kill anything you will meet on the battlefield ( I recall playing WoT and meeting a Maus with a tank which has 175mm of penetration... and that was 'normal' MM in the day ). That is also why I commented on the use off Arcsine laws, doesn't that require the input to be limited, more like a coinflip?

    Is Flint really that OP?

Meh I didn't check all the profiles I been linked if they done it for consecutive seasons, and obviously I am not going to link the accounts because it would constitute naming and shaming, but there were plenty of people I been linked to which reached rank 1 sometimes after just spending literally thousands of games in ranked. I won't say the group is large, I would even go as far as admit that statistically they are very small part of the rank 1 population, and this means that in general the rank 1's are certainly a lot better then the average player. The difference it seems is in 'how much better' and the definition of 'good'
  17. Does the arcsine law apply to MMO environments with all it's influencing factors? edit: let me be the first to admit that the actual math is above my pay grade ;)

Where is german BB ın publıc test?

And in the full patch notes it did say that those ships were only available to those with access to them ( aka ST and community contributors )? The wording was suggestive, that is marketing for you. Suggestive marketing is done by most companies, I can even think of some company which makes aftershave and wants men to believe it will attracts women which will all look like Swedish models, if you buy that in the store and notice it doesn't work do you go complain about that to?

    Public Test 0.5.10

You're right in both accounts. Yes.
  20. And THAT section specifically has been used to start unconstructive topics since the day it was first 'found'. WG will not disclose which parts are actually being applied to which servers, the patent itself has contradictory elements and the whole discussion always ends up with certain people claiming MM benefits bad players by giving them bonuses to 'keep them interested' and other people claiming MM benefits bad players by making them top tier more often or what not. And there is never any evidence to counter such claims ( nor is there to support them, mind you ), so as asked before:

Well I am color blind ( protanopia ) and I can attest that the filters 'work'

    Public Test 0.5.10

No, the value on the right is just the subtracted angle to the actual flight path in relation to the armor it hits ( aka normalization ). So, richocets are at 60 degrees, if you got 8 degrees of normalization you can hit anywhere between 0 ( dead on ) and 66 68 degrees ( which is 60 minus normalization ). edit: Martians can into math!

    Is Flint really that OP?

Another one The average skill of a triple rank 1 player is obviously higher than those of random plebs, but it's not as special as you make it out to be. That's like saying it's not possible to find 4x% wr players who spammed their way to rank 1
