Who else is so annoyed by people who don't know how to play the game, and instead open whine topic after whine topic about the same darn subjects which have been rebuked time and time again?
-
It's not mine, it's from RU forum I just combined them.

Tiers 7 German BB's - Gneisenau Vs Scharnhorst
mtm78 replied to Crusherheads's topic in General Discussion
It's refreshing and encouraging reading you actually like something about the game -
Yesterday, someone in enemy team asked, are you mtm from forums? At the end of the game I was reported 5 times I still got positive karma though, not that I care much ;)
-
Mhm I have seen all of them play solo, though overall I guess you're right and they do play a lot of division games.
-
How about watching Flamu on stream then, or strangers123, or Chrysantos, or Isolate? It's not a YT series but the content should be the same. Flamu even does tactics video's I believe on YT in his ship reviews.
-
Yup, exactly. We could use a replacement, and one of the most heard complaints is that for instance NA has a dedicated team for WoWs and EU shares it between different games. Now, since we don't know the actual workload, we can only speculate that it plays a role, but it's very likely one of the impacting factors. Though we shouldn't confuse this with the issue of 'no leaks/news' from internal testing phases of development. I think the last is very much a decision which has nothing to do with the workload of the community coordinators.
-
What do you think community coordinators are? Imo they should also be filling this role ( it's even in their task description iirc ). Deamon93, on 20 August 2016 - 04:24 PM, said: What he pretty much said is that what's in ST should remain there until further notice(ie when WG deems whatever is under testing ready for implementation). The PT part is that the values there are subject to change, just like in ST(then again it's true also for the live server, values aren't set in stones). ^^ this. There is a reason some things are tested internally first.

You tk'd someone, I stopped reading there It's a new low though, coming to the forum to complain about something and in your first sentence outright telling you're braking EULA and team killing allies ( no, I don't care if he shot you, it's irrelevant ).

Depends on the map, if you get a suitable map low tier light tank can win the game by spotting in the right place. Granted, it's not a very engaging way to play but it can be really effective. I think the highest amount of spotting damage I ever had was in my Chinese tier 6 light tank and I sat still for 80% of that match with bino's up in bush and the enemy couldn't flush me out.

Off course, it's not a single metric which indicates 'skill'. If that were true, our beloved PVE players would be considered the best players on the server
-
1. A set amount of games you will win/lose no matter your own effort. 2. The remainder are the games where YOUR influence decides if you will win or lose, this ratio increases when you division as you then have 3 people who work together and have greater influence. That is why even bots don't drop below 40% ( getting carried by players ), and the best players won't get higher than +-75% ( lower if you only take solo games ). People who claim win rate is random are either not willing to accept their own influence on the metric, or are just trying to troll.
-
There is more RNG in WoT then in WoWs

Historical events and performance are not directly transferable into a game, not if you want to keep it diverse and engaging. And Tirpitz ( and Bismarck ) should not miss cruisers at 7km, the dispersion isn't that bad. Ofc, RNGezus can troll anyone, and will troll anyone once their number is up. Tirpitz is considered one of the better tier 8 BB's, Bismarck will share that trait I am sure. They might not be historically correct in their gunnery, but none of the ships in game are ( considering that WG uses 'effective engagement range' instead of max gunnery range for instance ). The German BB's are brawlers, they excell at short range due to armor/durability and Bismarck has the best secondaries for it's tier, and Tirpitz has torpedo's so this short range brawling is exactly what you should be going for ( in most in game situations ).

-20% repair costs is not that much, it would still mean people will not be making profit or breaking even at tier X except a few unicorns here and there I guess. OP's result in this one battle for instance isn't representative of his 'overall' performance
-
Ow no, that is a good comment, I didn't mean that the -20% repair costs would suddenly break the game it surely doesn't. I assumed, probably wrong I admit, that even the -20% repair costs wouldn't be enough to satisfy OP's dissatisfaction with the game's economy. The -20% repair costs, to my knowledge, didn't affect low/mid tier population much, and it increased high tier population a bit ( not by much btw, which would indicate it's not exclusively the economy which hurts the tier X population ). edit: coming to think about it, wouldn't it more fair to increase reward/income for doing useful stuff, instead of lowering repair costs? As long as the total impact on profitability stays comparable that seems a better way.
-
Don't agree, f2p games are supposed to be restrictive for end game content ( in this case tier X ships ). If the economy didn't force you to play other tiers, to many would only play tier X which would be bad for the expected lifespan of the game.
-
Why are you replying to this. if he ever made a troll thread this is it. Most trolls who come to complain about economy are NOT making a profit at tier X, he is just trying to show off his 'awesome' tier X performance ;)

German precision does not imply it has to do with gunnery, it might be tied with precision in build quality, it might be German precision for their AAA guns ( and ... wow GE BB's have the best long range AAA dps on most tiers do they not? ). Stop making assumptions and claim they are not just that: wrong assumptions. It's really funny though, all these people coming to complain because they think something must be done in a certain way, and they don't actually read the marketing material yet bring them along to 'support their claims' just to be told they should learn to read/interpret. This time, WG didn't even IMPLY they would be 'accurate' so ps. You know Tirpitz been out for some time now right? And you still thought German BB's would be 'accurate' aka long range snipers? All I can say to that is lol.

Try it yourself

Well yes, partly you're right. Divisions influence win rate, and even individual ship choices ( and game modes ... pve ) influence win rate. But that is what the profile page is for, to be able to see all the relevant information. Well relevant, depending on the why you're looking at it. I know you don't agree that statistics play a part in game mechanics or balance discussion ( that was you right, if not my apologies! ), but they are essential in those threads where people just post : OMG %gamemechanic X% / %ship class Y% are broken, WG plox fix naow. Also, you do realize that you're part of the team, so you being competent actually increases the chance for an overall competent team
-
Your nick and this topic made me think you were a troll, but you got 2k games in so I guess you're just really not up to date with modern infrastructure. If it takes you a day to download a patch, maybe you should complain to your ISP to upgrade your bandwidth?
-
No no, let's be honest, if you're an .......... and you send torps from behind me, I will not avoid them at all. I will even steer into them if I feel those torps warrant it enough ( eg they are to close to me but not directly going to hit me ). That is the only way it seems the ,,,,,,,,,,,,, ( -> I can not use the terms I would like to use for those kind of 'players' without breaking forum rules ) might learn to alter their behavior. It's really simple: Torpedo's are MANLY weapons, if you want to use them you should BE IN THE FRONT LINE and not endanger your allies with them. Friendly torpedo's aren't, once they arm they are neutral, so never ever ever torp from behind your allies and come to the forum and whine about what might happen if you do. Even torps which don't directly hit your allies can kill them because you limit their ability to turn and change course. It's just bad practise and people doing it should be banned from the server, period.

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
mtm78 replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
I sense but hurt, did you perform so badly when you met Flamu in your team that he commented on your play, and did it hurt your ego so much that you now have to try and make him look bad? Btw, you do realize it's not working right? He can't be camping 90% of the battle or he wouldn't get the results he been getting, he even streams his gameplay, and everyone regards him as one of the best players on the server ( or 'better' players on the server ). The only one you're hurting with your little dispute is yourself. Just let it go, nothing will be gained from trying to attack Flamu on the forums like this except for tarnishing your own name. -
I do have a 'solution' but you might not like it: take a look at your contact list, remove everyone who you don't 100% need on there. The less people on your contact list, the more responsive your port UI.
