I absolutely hate this ship, I just can't get it working. Anyway, I did not dispute that the new MM rules affected tier 5 MM distribution, I disputed the fact that you are always bottom tier since that clearly doesn't coincide with my ( slightly more limited than your ) personal experiences during this patch. And yes, your way of stating your cause rubbed me the wrong way The bigger issue here though, why did you wait for me to ask for actual data? That is exactly the feedback WG should be taking into account! This doesn't discuss any issues other than 'I was in a tier 5 and I had to face a tier 7 -> it's broken'. It doesn't mention tier spread over multiple matches at all. And to that 'problem', my answer remains -> Ow and btw... The problem with this kind of 'news' is that it leads its own live. WG will not comment on leaks, exceptions aside, and as such some people might actually believe something which isn't even close to being true. That is my major gripe, as I hinted to before in this thread, if you want to discuss TAP, put 'GOSSIP' in the thread title and it's fine. But 'NEWS' and that site do not belong in the same sentence. Now, having said that I will follow your advice ( for now ).

There are other sites which offer you news, shipcomrade for instance. And you know what, they have an outstanding reputation because they don't use unconfirmed leaks or steal content from others to present it as their own. Now as I said earlier, if you want to sponsor him by generating add revenue for him, please be my guest. Just do not expect discussions based on TAP content from people who would actually know anything. I can not an will not speak for why they did something, I frankly simply can not for obvious reasons ( I am not them am I ). But, to me, it seems pretty reasonable since they turn like... bricks, are extremely long and are pure torpedo magnets. Then, gameplay wise they are supposed to be brawlers, and you can't brawl with such a ship when you get wrecked by torpedo's. So in that view, giving them hydro makes sense from a gameplay perspective.

Are they? Where was this announcement? Was it tested in a PT setting? edit: I hope you're realizing that I am not trying to be a smartass, but this discussion should be held when the above is true, not before.

We are expected to stay constructive, this means we can be critical towards wg, and if you check my or some others post history you will see this. Criticism is not something WG forbids at all, as long as you can argument it. Like with replacing Ectar and Brynd, I am quite sure most if not all active ST on forum will have said one time or another that WG should replace them asap, and this goes along with saying WG should be more active in EU EN forum.

It's ok, heated argument I guess But I am not biased, well I might be biased against the way some people conduct themselves around here ( this forum ) but I think everyone has this with some particular others so I don't really feel like I should be singled out like that. You're mostly the voice of reason though, and yes no one should and does deny WG should hurry up with their replacements.

The fun is more in that you're doing your best to help make this game as good as possible, and it IS fun with the whole group on TS. BUT, it's also work, sometimes tedious. boring work, like sailing around a map and shooting/torping islands to check hitboxes, checking models/moving objects/model hitboxes. And it is something which can take up a lot of one's time. And then you come to the forum and you still get attacked here and portrait as WG's shills, just because one doesn't immediately get's out the tar and pitchforks if someone claims something isn't fair. What people fail to realize is that ST is supposed to be critical, it's part of the job. It's only that our feedback is internal, you will not (often) see it in public forum. Also as an addition to my above tongue in cheek remark: considering some of the contributors are quite competitive and good players on their own, the comment was obviously not serious. I am not a total baddie but in testing I will do 'stupid' things at times because I want to see how a ship behaves while doing 'less then optimal' things. It's part of thorough testing, I can recall pressing battle and being back in port in 4 minutes, having lost 88k hp. Then as people say, ST has a broad range of skills, it's likely we sometimes test ships which are outside our comfort zone.

This is so true, if you only post here to criticize and nothing more, you're not contributing anything. If he at least played the darn game, his posts would be warranted, but now it's just attention seeking trying to rally the mob against a company just because he thinks he has a chance to gain some internet fame. There is nothing else to gain from it for him, since he doesn't actually play the game.
