  2. No, before they were just bad at situational awareness but they were moving and had a chance to learn the actual game, they haven't learned anything else then 'ow if I sit bow on and snipe I live longer'. That's not learning the game
  3. Trying to use facts is not the right argument? Even if they would hide because of 'soup' it's their hiding which let's this soup happen. If the BB's would push up with their cruisers those could engage the DD's, but the cruisers can't go engage the DD's if the BB's are hiding in the back. The problem is BB captains, not a mechanic like fires or torpedo's. And WG can/hopefully will fix that by making back line sniping not profitable with a new economy. Sure, the first BB captains who starts to push will not have it easy, a shift in meta doesn't happen over night unless it's due to a change/addition off ships. A change in economic rewards for in game action will take effect much slower. A lot of people who can't do anything else then camp in the back and snipe will have to learn how to play all over again. edit: I made an oopsie in my last sentence

Don't see how this would work since that would mean essentially removing the modular/compartmentalized design which was aimed at giving higher realism because hitting a ship in the bow is not the same as hitting it somewhere more important ( amount of HP in each section represented the influence of said compartment on the 'battle efficiency' of the ship aka HP ). 2. As long as they add the same info ( or more ) to the replays as in WoT I am fine with a delay. Current replays break almost every patch, and don't include battle results. 3. Pretty sure it's translation error and they mean 'range' not accuracy. 4. These numbers are not new, they been made public earlier as well I am 99% sure.

    Fujin / Kamikaze R nerf?

    Yubari, even when more accurate, still only has 2 dual turrets. DPM is terrible, and with captain skill rework it doesn't outrange the others either. Even with improved accuracy you don't even come close to the DPM of a Kuma unless sniping at max range where the Kuma's 2 gun advantage might get negated by the lesser accuracy. Yubari can be 'fun' to play at times, but she is not 'competitive'.
  7. No, you shouldn't play passive in Kagero due to repair costs, you play your lower tiers first so you have enough credits to play tier 9 without 'needing' to play passive. You don't need to play passive due to economy at all don't you see that? WG is working on new economy model ( one some like me been asking for since ages ) which actually rewards doing useful stuff in the game, this new economy should NOT make top tiers more profitable, but should lower the amount of passive players because they won't get any rewards out of playing that way.

    Well this is exactly the same as the zero damage penetrations, you're hitting either external modules which 'eat' the shell or you penetrate a fully depleted section. I admit it makes for confusing gameplay moments.

  11. 1 and 2 alone won't change much though as it's not the economy but the meta game which is not just caused by economy ( not even close ). People like camping, they like using team as meatshield, doing cheap damage from the back while their team dies around them, and they find excuses like : fires OP, you can't push because you will burn all the time. Or complain about economy ( not saying you're wrong, it's a bad design if passive play is rewarded more ). Human nature and all. WG has to change the reward mechanism, no doubt, we already covered that with new economy which should reward doing actually useful stuff like tanking damage in a BB. But WG also has to make bow on sniping unattractive, this would happen if damage in BB's is rewarded more the closer you are to the enemy for instance. Perhaps. Like I said, I don't have the answer, but each suggestion might bring us closer to one so if anyone thinks he has an answer please provide it.... .... still waiting

Bow on is also used to be aggressive, not only because bow armor/angles but also most narrow profile and who would reverse in the direction of the enemy right Either way, the Q&A thread indicated this won't be a hasty change, so please don't go off on rumors. The changes as indicated might not even make it to a PT server who knows, we only know WG wants to fix the static gameplay at high tiers. So instead of being useless and just ranting, could you tell the rest your 'solution' to the issue then? I am really curious what a Yamato main would have to 'fix' bow on sniping in the back. edit: Yeah right, BB's are weak in current meta. Let me guess, next you're going to tell us HE and fires are to strong?

  16. I actually think the collaboration with ARP isn't going to end with the addition of High School Fleet. I think they will be intermixed, one month special for one, other month for the other series. That would make getting content less 'repetitive' like with the ARP Myoko's and Kongo's.

WG experimented with lowering repair costs for high tiers, people are still playing to passive. -> FACT People complain about economy because they don't want to grind credits on lower tiers to play top tiers -> FACT WG can not let those people play just top tiers because they need a healthy population on all tiers -> FACT These facts lead to the conclusions that; 1. WG needs to make other changes to make top tier games less 'campy'. 2. ..... idk, I don't know how to make people play more aggressive. I don't play tier X a lot because the gameplay is static, not because of the economy. And it is static because BB's delete cruisers to quickly, and therefore cruisers can not push since the BB's just sit and snipe in the back punishing cruisers who play aggressive. And there are not enough CV's around to punish the bow on sniping BB's like it used to be in CBT for instance. So, WG is trying to lower the amount of back line bow on sniping BB's ( especially Yamato's tend to do this a lot.... don't you play Yamato a lot? ) and if you read the Q&A thread you would realize they are going about this in details. Changes like this will no go to live server without testing first by ST ( ....... ) and then on a PT server. Maybe reserve your judgements until then.
  18. Bare stock game and -offerings already include missions for content like the Cambeltown and captain, and the normal daily missions. I don't see anime fans being upset that the daily missions aren't also there for anime content ( where the gains would be something related to the anime ). It is always the 'anti' side which cries wolf about fairness and 'equal content', think about it. WG collaborates with anime's, it get's them more players. There already is 'historical' content and missions/events ongoing all the time, why if WG adds a special for anime content would there be a need for 'equal' non anime content when this non-anime content already is a bigger part of the game as the anime side? Now I am not saying WoWs is an anime game, it is not, but it also is NOT just an 'historical' arcade naval engagement 'simulator'.

  20. That goes both ways, I don't want to see derogatory remarks about that kind of content as well..... Musashi! In the Q&A they hinted that tier 9 and 10 'premium' content is a 'possibility' but nothing is planned for now. This leaves Musashi as possibility ( would have to be really steep mission requirements though ). I don't agree on comparable goodies/content/missions, why do people think they are so entiteled to things? WG doesn't need to provide 'equal' content just because you don't like their choice of content for specials.

    Why would it be? Teamspeak / skype / ventrilo or the likes should compensate. You also have a voice chat for divisions in the client.
