  1. I will never be able to lose that moniker even while my average tier is >6 and I stopped playing it as much after I found out I get more wins with Arkansas Beta ( so I guess everyone with lots of games in that is also a stet pedder ). I could play more gremmy games so I can overtake Impregnator with it, but then I'm just changing one 'no longer sold because balance issues' VMF premium for the next 'no longer sold because balance issues' VMF premium

CV situation at 0.5.12 from reddit

Zgicc, on 02 October 2016 - 08:25 AM, said: You just made the game grindier and punished players who are good at the game. Ofc, because the 'good' players shouldn't think they know anything about the game, they obviously don't understand the concept 'play4fun' which is critical to commercial success of a game. If scrubs have fun and good players don't that's not a problem, there are way more scrubs then good players.
  3. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/63395-warships-today-updating-error/page__fromsearch__1 Yeah seems it's tied to the update and I'm not alone at all. Still strange that all the people I looked up initially showed 'normal' profiles, luck of the draw?

economy change is the best thing WG has done

Ow yes, they listen. But not to everyone, WG needs the WoT HT crowd to come play BB's and keep playing without being 'disillusioned' because they have to learn impossible things like managing fires, dealing with torpedo's, not being able to shoot at ships which are using concealment ( or smoke ). So, in order to cater to this lowest denominator, they are slowly removing or toning down those 'toxic' gameplay objects

Yeah, 'We want you to be happy, so please don't mind us fecking up in all possible ways and then slowly trying to correct our mistakes all the while ignoring the signs which foretold that introducing changes like this pisses off your players'. It's almost like they don't WANT us to play the damn game anymore.
  7. Which was kind of my point, the modules are not sold by default, I think the dropdown is on demount by default. And I am happy it is, because selling price is 50% ( right? ) of purchase price.
  8. Rocket assisted 'shell' = kinetic 'missile'? Borderline if so, WG said no missiles
  9. I have all possible modules available for mounting on ships, I don't need to buy anything 'new'. Doesn't seem plausible this could happen if all the modules were sold automatically whenever I sell a ship?
  10. Still broken, still working fine for ( some/most??/all ) others. Thanks WG, I feel the <3 in the air, thick and suffocating.
  11. Well actually that makes me feel a bit better, I searched for some others I know by name and their pages seemed to work without issues.. I felt singled out
  12. Ahh so the Q&A says depot will come, and some guy reads and opens a whine topic to later claim it was his whine which changed WG's idea? Sorry for the sarcasm, but come on....
  13. Nah, addition of more BB lines was a good thing because players were waiting on them, but that doesn't mean the entire development track leading up to today has not been favoring simplification and 'easy access' for the WoT masses WG want's to get playing WoWs ( and keep playing, and explaining mechanics such as concealment and smoke to BBabies is harder than just 'toning down' those game aspects ).

0.5.12 The Grand PVE high tier Shaft

WG can turn a knob and the bots would kick every unicum's behind untill it's so blue he won't be sitting in the coming decade ;) But that doesn't mean they are employing tactics, it just means they got 'good aim' ;) One might actually accuse them off aimbotting
  15. I concur. I also think the one disagreeing should SOLO play more before commenting on team work between random players. CBT had some big flaws, armor wasn't modeled really ( well not like now anyway ) and the 'gradual' addition of mechanics while adding new content at the same time I think was too much. Some changes ( mechanical changes ) should have been done in CBT with CBT players who were genuinely interested in playing WoWs and not 'WoT on water'. I find the direction of development way to much influenced by 'public opinion' and then especially those of crying whining BBabies who have ZERO interest in actually learning a game, but still want to shoot 'big guns go boom' without worrying about light cruisers with smoke, or 'stealth firing' cruisers or anything which would force the BBabies to use their brains and not keep slapping mouse 1 with their male reproductive organs. It's a damn shame if I'm honest. All I can do is hope I'm wrong and this trend won't really set through. But that hope is fading quite fast. My prolonged activity in relation to this game is undergoing scrutinous inspection, I got premium running but extending it is as unlikely as Putin apologizing for delivering a missile which shot down a commercial airliner. I enjoyed playing some games yesterday, but hey it was mostly 'clubbin' with Esu. I even had a nice Izumo game, which doesn't happen to often. But I also got reminded of why I don't enjoy playing nearly as much as I did in CBT.

0.5.12 The Grand PVE high tier Shaft

40% liking to play against the AI instead of people sounds about right considering the display of tactical concepts even in random PvP games
  17. Meh Nagato was the brawler more ( though with armor issues ), Amagi is a BC which was more flimsy, Izumo does bow on. But lower tiers, IJN were the snipers and USN the brawlers ( base accuracy and range all favor IJN, so it's 'natural' USN 'brawld' because it lacked range. And we had only two lines, so not much choice. Now, DE brawls, IJN still is 'sniper' and USN is more universal? Not sure, not a real BB centric player. Colorado seems pretty straight forward, it's bad at the other things ( accuracy for long range sniping ) so it stays a brawler.
  18. Yeah USN BB's are loosing the 'brawler' designation a bit to the GE BB's now, Not really sure though about Colorado, you should still brawl with it imo ( what else would you do with it which is effective? ).

    Running aground in STYLE

Isn't it 'style' and not 'stile' RIP Rosetta, may we continue to learn from the data you've given us!
  20. Could it be that they are doing better because they 'force' people to play BB's like they are intended to? I like having GE BB's on my team, they usually don't play as passive as others ( sniping Tirpitzes are the only main exception ).
  21. Hey guys, I got linked a few times to video's from this youtube channel and trust me his video's are awesome! I searched this forum and he doesn't have a thread here, which I think is a damn shame! So, to make sure even us Europeans can enjoy his video's I decided to make a thread to put his channel under attention Eurobeat's youtube channel Some of the most funny one's ->

    minimap to small !

Defender of the Crown was the castle building game right? I liked that one, played it quite a lot. Now you mention syndicate, I am starting to doubt. I might be mistaken, I even just posted Leisure suit Larry for C64 and I actually know this hasn't been released for it. And for Dune, I am 100% certain I played Dune on C64, but you could be right and I could have played DuneII only on PC. One game which hasn't been mentioned and which imo should be: Paper Boy!
