You know me well enough I don't do 'reading between the lines' very well I am curious as to what MrConway was going to post, still am It feels odd having this ( the forum ) in place and then not using it ( fully ). I just wish there was less of a schism between developers - st - community. -

This does not apply to the thread in question, well only if you have people who react on a name and not on the content. There were several attempts to keep that thread on course, all of which were denied. And you know by who, and I know by who and everyone knows by who. But yeah, off course I am only trying to get into OMNI right -

True but it seems to not track all users ( the users in database number on your screenshot can not represent the total playerbase ). Though now that I think about it, it might be that they are filtering out inactive accounts or something similar.

The problem with 'working as intended' is that it's not a 'transparent' game mechanic. You can't see the depletion ( except from coloring, damaged sections appear darker ) you only notice it when you hit. Which with hig rof gun's isn't that much an issue, but since torpedo's are launched in a spread ( and accuracy depends more on the target knowing about WASD hax ) you have no idea what is going to happen. But how would you 'fix' it then?

Replay? Screenshots? I've had these moments as well, from both sides. Once in Kagero I took a Shima torp at the start of the game and was left on like a few HP. Later on in that match I ate 5 torps from various ships but I didn't take any damage from any of them

Well I did apply once right... but either way I am certain their position doesn't involve me 'defending' _FTD_, they care more about performance then all these shenanigans Also, that guy who does nothing for the community did offer to come on the TS and talk with him about getting some of the OMNI members to help out with giving classes for SGWA.. so yeah -

This still is an English language forum, so if my fellow Cheeseheads would keep it English it would prevent the moderators getting in a hissy fit TheDutchDelight, there is an ingame chat channel called Forumites ( with a capital F ), the password for the channel is 'play4fun' On a good night there are a quite a few regulars from the forum hanging out there. If you really want a Dutch speaking channel there is Gathering Of Warships ( one guess where the name originates from ) but it's quite sparsely populated. WG has an official TS3 server ( 92.223.3.90:9989 ). edit: almost forgot, you can also join the SGWA channel if you want to have a look around

I talked about this with some, and it's highly understandable. If you're a moderator you're supposed to be 'above' the discussion and 'only' applying the rules WG set out for the forums. You can't put yourself above the discussions if you take part in them. Mods don't need to be part of the community in that sense, it would make their job harder. Community Coordinators could be more active on the forums, but from the last thread we know forums is low on their priority list. -

Can this also be the fault of the observer? I have no trouble taking gameplay advice from a 'mere player' if his performance is better than me I should listen to his advice. Same as when someone with a 'high profile' tag says something stupid, it doesn't suddenly become 'not stupid' just because of the tag? -
Tbh, ShipComrade is one of the best community sites, especially their red-tracker is a very nice feature. I hear from people who play ranked that they use the ranked leaderboards a lot, but I don't play ranked. And the other stats sites I linked above work well for me ( w~.today has some issues with updating recently ).

What the OP said was indeed worth a discussion, and you could go back and you will see plenty of people who were happy to do so ( including ST ). That being said, you're putting to much emphasis on the tag's, trust me, ST is NOT an WG employee. Telling them to 'properly' test something is also quite insulting to them as it gives the impressions you hold them responsible for the outcome of whatever, and their input it in reality quite limited. I resigned but I still hold a large number of people there in very high regard and it doesn't sit well that you're trying to put blame when there can be none. -

I am sorry but no, Hans was out to get the thread derailed from the start and you can't convince anyone otherwise unless that person has had a lobotomy. _FTD_ did nothing wrong in that thread. ( edit: except taking the bait laid out for him ) edit: and this thread will get locked as well now since it's back to 'he sad she said'. Maybe I should finally make a REDDIT account as well... edit2: on the other hand, I am not going to defend the OP off that previous thread so I can understand the sentiment which fueled the direction that thread went. -
