So the Benson player hacked into the WoWs servers, found the match instance, and changed only his own smoke duration while he was playing. Must have been one hell of an hacker These things are not client side controlled like in some other games, things like these just can't be cheated with ( smoke duration, visibility, damage all those and more are 100% server side ).

That is what happens when 'people' like that run out of actual arguments / facts, they have to resort to insults and empty rhetoric. Well yes, they gave a statement. It's the officially sanctioned WG modpack. How's that for a statement

Which is as good as WG can do. If it was seriously over the top, I would go to the police and file a report there. Yes I know people can be laughing now... Insults sure, call me noob, failler, shitter or whatever, and I will laugh in your face ( well virtual face ). But, yesterday I met the 'brightest' off this community again, division of two tier 9 CA's which instead of playing for team went on to damage farm from the back leaving my division with 2 BB's and a CA a bit to light to engage their DD's controling the center cap. So I asked them a few times to come help, but no, farming damage was more important. One of them got a witherer, think the Ibuki, and I told him again that he might have done 13xk damage ( which he claimed ) but that it was in the wrong position.. and he was starting to call me Jew and then [edited]( I don't know many Jewish black people ... but hey ). Then the concentration camps were brought up. And that I should die from cancer. And that just because they couldn't 'win' the normal discussion that even if he DID do quite some damage, he did it in the WRONG place. An insult is 'acceptable' to me, even while EULA would state otherwise, someone doing stupid stuff should be called out on it even if it's me. But anything discriminatory I report. And I am tempted to pick one of these idiots sometime and go file a police report just for the fun of hearing how the police in their home town had to make a visit and talk with his/her parents about certain laws. Because yes, 'this is the internet baby'... but no, even here there are laws in place ( depending on where the guy/girl lives ). And when these people suddenly get confronted with 'real life consequences', only then it might sink in with them that their behavior isn't really 'acceptable'.

It's not 'turning' it's geometry and experience. I mean, it should be obvious to most people who done high school ( even if the perspective in game is a bit off... this is where experience comes around the corner ). While any and all guides would be good, I don't see how you could 'explain' that ships turning in need less lead and less elevation and ships turning out need less lead but more elevation? Also, due to the perspective, having the basic theory is not worth much without experience?

I will say they will be inconsistent, and yes with someone who can get himself in the right positions ( and live! ) the high tier has very high DPM.

I finished outside of my team's top 10.... it was the medal I am the least proud off.. I tried to avoid it, I kept fighting... but the team went nuts in chat that I had to go hide and run the timer down Sorry.

Well I do have to add, the tier 7 and up seem to be pulling the AP only off quite well indeed. But as Hans said, there are important steps in between there, steps which some players actually have a preference for playing.

You should do this with the tier 9 ;)

The worst is the people crying about 'unfair advantage', usually done by people who assume it's the fact that others use mods which puts them at a disadvantage. edit: WG should announce the modpack in the launcher and link to it from there so that everyone who updates his game or uses the launcher to start it will be informed of it's existence, this imo would be on par with having the options in the client itself. And even now, everyone has access to them who wants them, people are not stupid imo and if they are not they are aware there are mods for this game ( but granted, they should rather be linked to official forum then having to rely on google to find them ). See above, PLUS no WG was looking or these mods would not be in the modpack. They gave you the keys, knowing EXACTLY which mods are in the pack. Don't believe me? Check who is making the pack.

Perhaps he has been right on most other ships, he's on of the best players on the server and his opinion is generally shared between the other good players? But hey, he called Dunkek bad and server stats show it's doing ok. This is ofc because Dunkek doesn't scale that much with skill, so Flamu can't get the performance he expects. edit: Btw nice accusation, calling people sheep who take's Flamu's take on ships but then saying you only check LWM's reviews.. Most people check more then one, or one if they know it's almost always on par with their own experience.

I think about 30 tested them on live in EU could be wrong I left during testing ;) Did not test the last iteration I think, but let's just say I like HE and I think having HE just to burn angled BB's is quite normal to be able to do in a cruiser, let a lone a light cruiser. But watching Flamu rack up the damage on the higher tiers, it seems to work pretty well there. But what Hanz said about the tier 3 - 6 does not make it sound good

How did you feel about the damage being so dependant on the stupidity of the enemies ( continuing to show broadside )? Serious question, you're a serious player and I would expect you to have a clear opinion on this.
