And that is why team damage should not be turned off. The only way those people learn if when they get punished ( and even then... )

You mean there are all these legitimate concerns given, but since everyone knows WG has their finger up their nose when it comes to feedback deemed rework a success we're stuck with people claiming it's 'fine' since WG says so.

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
mtm78 replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
I just met @Eagle_Six_TR in his Konig, for some odd reason we had no carriers in our game and despite some well played moments our team sadly couldn't secure a victory. I should remember to change my consumables to premium one's, I keep forgetting Edit: reading the two posts above me made me laugh, thanks guys! -
Good for you. I loath second line torping , hence I don't want to cater to lowlife like that by turning friendly fire off. As to what you're talking about, that is step two. After you turn pink, eventually damage is reflected on yourself not your target. Basically you just kill yourself if you continue to deal team damage beyond a certain threshold. So your sentiment is understood, but not needed really.

But Katori isn't phat so is REALLY THICC... which means no WASD learning there. BB's are faster.. You have more range tho
-
22mm of standard pen Pyotr has big sections of 25mm plating around deck and superstructure. There is always an edge case ;) Not that it's worth the 4 points but still.
-
That's not even a bad CV, it's a terrible one. Took Yubari out today, both CV's enemy team only tried striking the BB's I was trying to 'escort', sadly the BB's both shot down more planes as I did... *sorry no game result screen 7 plane kills. BB's both got at least 20. Maybe if CV would be trying to strike me, and spend more time in my short range aura, then it might shoot down lots more planes ( surely would actually )... but you wouldn't prevent strikes to yourself from any skilled CV player. And it just emphasizes that AA is worthless for 'escort' duties unless you dedicate yourself to stay within 2.5km of your escort target.

Why do you expect me to understand humor if it isn't pitch and pitch black What are you, a neuro typical or something?
-
Few things. a> this is a team game but most players play solo, or mostly solo, thus general balance should be geared towards their experience somewhat b> divisions always have much greater synergy/teamwork as you get with randoms, overall/in general, thus AA balance should be about this lesser amount of teamwork. c> with nerfs to AA range, escorting allies either get's a separate job ( small range doesn't allow much active maneuvering against surface ships )
-
Wait, you're acting your whole balance discussion on playing in divisions?
-
Nooooooooo PTFO -> goes for ALL ships. Go hunt your avg dmg after you're sure you will win the game As to how what and when, best explained, corrected from replays or playing in divisions ( you're in klenu, find your best Shima player and have him show you da wai ).
-
Are you sure? No 25mm sections you suddenly pen?
-
If the 11 points of damage leads to a kill it can turn people pink. I've turned pink in similar situations where I was shooting in smoke for instance and didn't notice a low hp ally was blocking my rear turret -> instant pink ).

I think RN CV's are the most balanced ( ~ weakest ) of em all, plox adjust all others to match RN CV's
-
Still don't qualify to depict what we're getting in game. b> submarines were already laying in ambush and still.. a> after initial contact, the subs spend an entire night sailing at the surface at full speed ( not submerged... ) to get into a favorable launch position during dawn

You sank 2 enemies, coincidence?
-
Such toxicity, you should take a shower. Also, did the team think you were playing your DD well?

Good, I hope you learned your lesson.

How about we don't. It happens. Don't worry. Every player knows a pink penalty deserves benefit of doubt. Also this is your first post, I guess you don't get these penalties often, and as such they are trivial. We do not need friendly fire turned of, it would turn this game into the same mess coop and ops can be when playing with randoms. Accidental team damage happens, and is not punished to harshly. Taking that away just makes every friggin 4x% wr skrub torpedo from second line trying to get cheap damage based on spotting from forward destroyers for instance. This game doesn't need to cater any more to the lowest of lowest forms of players as it already does. Ramming damage shouldn't happen? Do you know the inertia behind a big ship hitting another big ship, even at 'slow' speeds. And yes friendlies take some ramming dmg that is good, that way you don't get grieving player just constantly blocking other players.

This sounds nice, but it would be hard I recon for new CV players and as such, WG will not want to burden them to much with proper target selection and prioritization with taking into account 'expendable' planes. Unlike destroyers btw, which are expectted to a> scout b> cap c> gunbote other DD's d> torp other DD's e> torp everything else f> gunbote everything else. Those can easilly be tasked with chasing circles painted on the ocean as well. I did not think this applied to the poster as he has 700+ battles. I was thinking there were to many CV's in queue and he just got dragged into whatever MM could throw together to clean out the CV's asap.

You spelled submarines wrong

The steam rolls are not tied to lower tiers, I had a lot of long fun games there in the past. And they happen in high tiers as well, even quicker sometimes.

Yubari is a port queen. The AA is laughable ever since the IJN 25mm AA nerf after which they gave it DFAA... which by far does not make up for what she lost. The guns are not just 'accurate', together with the DFAA upgrade Yubari like Katori got access to a special module which turns them into the most accurate guns in the game. Basically what this means is that she with only 4 guns should be actually having higher effective dpm as other cruisers... if you can aim and land them. A Kuma has more gun's per broadside, but due to dispersion will not land as many shells. I still like the old Yubari more tho, which was basically a no fly zone for enemy CV's.... imagine having that in current low tier CV spam Edit: as for speed and agility, think a Kuma. Citadel size, think Omaha. Edit2: not saying she is a bad tier 4 cruiser, just don't buy into the AA hype, it's a worthless gimmick unless for self defense.
