    No. I don't want UT, I want a tactical game. This means that players shouldn't be always capable of 1v1 or even 2v1 someone else if he is playing something which is designed to be strong against whatever his opponents are in. So yeah, BB's should be OP vs CA's, that's their job. So yeah, BB's OP... unless they meet a DD alone, or when a CV strikes him without protection of an allied cruiser. I call that balance ( or, well ok: an attempt at balance ).

    Ofc it does, just like when you get chatbanned in game. And don't you know, this is a WG game so if you use RU ships while wearing anything with a big red star on it, your hitratio will be way above normal, your HE will pen ( without losing fire chance ) and so on. Off course, then I have to put down the tinfoil hat and get back to real life...

    Exactly. Well, BB's are a bit OP depending on which one exactly but I feel they should be to an extent: They were the most iconic class of ships and should give that feeling when played exactly right. But if you only have two or three of them, they can be jumped by a wolfpack and that is how it should be imo ( requiring teamwork off the other classes in combination with the allied BB's to make the most out of each battle ).

    Well Kharb kinda needed it , and frankly there were too many Shimakaze's. I don't think removing the 20km torps was the best solution, it changed an imo viable aspect of the game, I'd rather seen them implement a stricter distribution of classes per match to solve current balancing issues.

Well if I hit a losing streak which lasts to long my frustration builds and I stop playing for the night, but I think that is the same with most of the play4fun people to just different tolerances is what I'm saying You're right about the laid back people being the majority of the players and that is fine, the distribution to my experience is pretty even over time just as with the real 'baddies' and the 'unicums'. And it's this majority which the good players feed their dmg/win ratio off.

    Hence my worries.. They could have sticked with encouraging teamplay and making cruisers more important in the utility role but instead BB's are getting better and better AAA, hydro and now radar ( though losing plane option, and I would rather have a fighter plane then having a short duration radar .. I think... ). I'm waiting on the first BB with defensive fire You can't nerf them much without making ( certain ) CA's to strong. For me it would break immersion to much if they nerved BB's to the point where the average red potato isn't attracted to them as much as currently. And they didn't nerf 'DD's', they nerfed IJN DD's
  13. It's like having a Currywurst in your team which at the start of the match before anything else has happened pops his spotter plane and starts reversing.. And still this is the class which is being catered to above all else.

    Lmao you're the perfect example of a crying BBaby, go back to the thread about CV's needing to be removed from the game... Yeah, the thread made last week or something, not last year when CV's had not gotten nerf after nerf yet, in which you showed how biased and (edited because forum filter) you are. edit: I can remember somehting about 45% wr in 66% of battles in BB's... yeah, it's not CV's which are broken. Yup so MM needs to restrict them or this game is doomed.
  15. FTFY. If you don't play to win, I hope you're in the red team. Period. No discussions possible, I don't care if you 'play4fun' I have fun when I'm playing well which hopefully results in winning more often than not.

The better a player you are, the harder it is to keep from getting frustrated by the potato's to the point where a comment like this one might slip...: "YO Tirpitz, you're sniping at 20km and your team is dying, we all understand you 'play4fun' as evident by your sub 45% win rate, but the rest of your team might actually enjoy not sucking so much so please get in the fight and use your armor and hitpoints thank you." Usually it's met with a report by the BBaby, and a solid comment: "l2p noob, stupid kid" Yeah, there are way too many stupid BBabies.

    Indeed, just as CL's at higher tiers only work well with smoke and good concealment ( if you would want CL's to be the one's hunting DD's which would imo be the best approach ).

    BB's need at the minimum a dozen working brain cells. Enough to use WASD hack and to point and click at enemy cruisers. Seems something IS indeed broken, and it isn't CV's.

  21. My comments on this perk have all been made with only random battle in mind, since afaik this is where WG balances them on ( random gameplay ). Now stop trying to me

Ow I agree, I am not saying it's now AOK to give BB's radar I don't think they should as it just removes another incentive for teamplay ( different classes with different consumables which benefit the whole more if combined right -> great gameplay concept imo... not so much the other way around ). But I don't think Missouri with Radar would always be better then a fighter equipped Iowa.
  23. Well this is actually good, not having the fighter plane ( not commenting on spotter, BBabies using spotter plane should uninstall imo ) is a big nerf. You can be way more aggressive with fighter plane up as it will spot near torpedo's and if lucky also a DD itself. edit: I mean 35s is a long time, but I would seriously probably rather have my fighter plane if I could chose.

    I don't think any 'skill' should be in the game which totally negates the other person's skill. Even if it's just ONE person who has it, the moment me in my DD are left and some CA which would have no chance of catching me can flush me out / corner me based on an arrow pointing to my stealthed ship I would rage so much I don't think my monitor would survive ( nor my sanity of belief in WG not being total nutjobs ). Even in not last 1v1 engagements, only one crying BBabie needs to have taken this skill and be in the group with the other BBabies in the back, and he can tell his whole team about his arrow showing I skillfully exploited the map/islands/cover/stealth to get into a flanking position so I can torpedo the BB's on their broadside, just to have this skill negated by a pointing arrow... it's conceptually totally incredibly stupendously stupid, in my humble opinion that is edit: And yes that also means I don't like defensive fire consumable, takes no skill to use it. Manual AAA on the other hand is much more dependent on being aware of which squads one needs to focus. The one 'consumable' I don't like, the other 'skill' I do like. This new captain perk ( as we can deduct from the leak, which is indeed 'just a leak' ) just removes stealth gameplay which even if this effect would be limited to a couple of scenarios, is a development path which is causing nausea within me. It makes me want to puke, another 'change' which favors 'shooting at stuff' over a tactical element like stealth. Plox WG, don't make me puke for real, pretty please!
