Strike CV's in domination should also focus the DD's at start, 1> they are usually isolated targets 2> killing a DD early game in domination mode is giving your team an huge advantage, much more then damaging but not killing a battleship. -
It's 'ONLY' 9.5km, so it's only flippin the bird towards IJN DD's which have still crappy guns in comparison and also no long range viable torpedo's. But hey let's hope it's just ONE broken BattleBaby and not a precursor for an entire line or broken BattleBaby's dream's.

Atlanta's 'snipe' in what way? Those rainbows are the exact opposite of sniper gun's ( even if you lob them over islands at distant enemies I would still not call that 'sniping' as snipers usually have quite the high hit rate ) On the topic of 'blending' of the class outlines, I agree partially. But only with BBabies ofc, since that's the ONE class which has been getting more and more consumables. Hydro first, which was ... idk I kind of like the fact that because of hydro BB's can play more aggressive and support their team but on the other hand that's not really working. Sure good players use the German hydro and don't snipe from max distance, but sadly there are more average and below people around who still snipe with Bisq and Fred and Sausage There has to be another option, a way to make those players play the actual game and not screw their team ( and their enjoyment in the game ) because they don't want the paint scratched on their BabyBoat until the entire team but them is death. What exactly, that's hard. You can't limit range as cruisers should never be able to kite BB's ( see Warspite in a tier 8 match for why that is ), so that's out. Perhaps increasing dispersion a lot at distance, as that's the one where I can't really think of counter arguments which could hold their ground. Let's hope WG isn't adding MightyMo as testbed for an entire line of BabyBoats with radar, as that would be really really 'silly' imho .. -
Hehe yeah... you might have better luck trying it yourself, you know since I also tried telling them about the BBabies and they just don't seem to agree with me.....

Ow and the mods here actually usually check quote's and facts, and don't respond to buthurt feelings. edit: they will also take note the OP has been edited today to look reasonable ( which it is NOW, but now when I responded to it ) ;) The nerf talking about flamebait. Editing posts after they been replied to is not really the way to go, and if you do don't forget to tick the box that you edited it from the almost incomprehensible rant it was when I replied to it. -
So, who's going to draw me that map instead of just complaining? Preferably with cap points, skip standard mode domination is much more fun

You been defending BB's a lot in the past haven't you? Just asking, to put things into light. Though yes, they are playable, just less effective versus capital ships due to slower shorter range torpedo's.

The problem isn't the lack of WASD hax it's the teamwork which is the worst 'lacking' aspect of random games. Long range torp DD's require teamwork to actually deal with effectively. Suicide DD's however... Just today had a game in T7 IJN DD and enemy had a Belfast and an Atlanta. Whole game those two cruisers hunted me, I couldn't get near their BB's. I still got a kraken and almost as much XP as those cruisers on the winning team but still... -
Excellent! Now, do you know the account name? Just curious how well a caught cheater was actually performing in game.

Let's turn it around.. who here thinks he can draw a map ( preferably based on a real historical battle ) which would be 'different'. Fair for both spawns, fair for all classes, but with the elements described above in the thread which made some of the earlier maps more 'engaging' and more diverse? The reason the diversity is being brought down is without a doubt WG's data showing that the old maps did not give the same chance of winning to both spawns. Mirror maps might not be 'nice to look at', they do offer the best option for a 'fair game'.

That sounds like the average random battle. If BB's push with their cruisers and support the DD's... I mean I'm having to tell cruisers to shoot at DD's when spotted and that's on tier 7? They went from 1 to 7 without realizing that YOU SHOOT AT A DD when it's spotted and not at the BB at 15km... Anyway yeah, fight's in the middle, and the new IJN DD's are actually 'better' for that as the gun performance is a bit better, but seems WG threw in the towel and is slowly moving away from long range tactical DD torpedo's in favor of a twitch based brawling. And I don't suck at brawling, so that's not it. And the new IJN DD's are better at it... But I still did not grind to Shima because I wanted universal DD's. I wanted torpedo ninja's.

The speed did not allow me engage the targets I should be engaging, those radar cruisers on the enemy team totally shut me down. I fought a good fight but game mechanics countered me perfectly. All the while I should be a BB counter right? But I wasn't because I could not even get to them partly because of the radar cruisers but mostly because of the lacking speed in comparison with those radar cruisers.

Bull. I often division with 3 DD's and who are you to tell me it's not 'optimal' edit: I should read better Either way, let's just keep it at limiting CV's in division, all the other classes are imho 100% fine. And the idea to stop divisions with the same ship just because SOME 2 or 3 same ship combo's can be strong is also over the top.

Like 99% sure, mostly because most DD's don't even have a superstructure to speak off
