Strange since Arizona is the best performing BB at the tier ( absolute, statistical ). Guess you met the only few potato's sailing her.. then again, New Mexico is the toughest tier 6 BB for Arizona's due to lesser pen and NM being the best armored.

WTR is way to damage dependant imo, win rate should count for half not damage. edit: though, then the metric should take into account how many games been in division, as divisions boost WR a lot and this isn't reflective of individual skill.

Could you double check and make sure this is indeed a wrong statement from Sub_Octavian? I am pretty sure it is, as you say you can get detonated when you run the other flags as well afaik but with a dev comment like that it's not really clear -

You're right! I have WoT installed as well and the launcher there had the auto update setting enabled. Disabling it for WoWs launcher alone didn't disable the updater.

I got the Old Lady and Arizona, Arizona is easier to do damage with, it's tankier, it has longer range. So I was bragging my [edited]off yesterday when in division with two Old Ladies, saying my superior range and amount of guns would make them feel puny. Result: they were faster, got in positions a few 100m before me and just took all those nice broadside shots I was trying to get into position for Either way, I had like 80% wr on Arizona and it's down to 63%, both Old Lady and Fuso are higher with 70% and 67%. with such limited sample sizes the wr can fluctuate a lot still. I had almost 100ik avg dmg on Arizona. But one turd match and it's almost impossible to 'correct' ( down to 70k now I guess ). All in all, Arizona is still my favourite tier 6 BB ( haven't played USN BB's so I would probably feel even better about New Mexico ). One of the biggest reasons is the range. The comparison posted here on page one doesn't take into account the range upgrade, but Arizona you can have in a tier 8 and not feel hopeless because enemy cruisers are kiting you to death.

Maybe the question should be: why does the updater reset each time the game is run? If through windows config I disable a startup process I would like the game to not reset it. Instead, the game could check if a> user has set the game to auto update through the launcher b> windows has the updater in startup programs. If the user ticked the box but the updater has been disabled through windows, the launcher could show a popup asking if the user would like to re enable the updater. or not. If not, the launcher should untick the box and save the new setting. Programs should never override manual user configurations, not according to MS and not according to most end users?

If you're in my game and afk I will report you ofc, HW issues or not you're negatively influencing the enjoyment of everyone else in your match. Your allies are down one ship, and your enemies loose out on the challenge of facing an equal team, if you know your HW is having issues running the game you should think about the other 23 people in the game ( unless co-op, that's 11 other people ). If you meet minimum specifications and you got issues this big, open a ticket with support. If you don't meet min specifications and are still playing, you deserve the reports and rest assured if you AFK too often your account will get sanctioned so don't be that guy The free xp for Mighty Mo is to encourage spending money, don't expect WG to change anything which would incite people to spend less instead of more ( the costs are not that high, especially judging by the amount of Mo's I seen in game already.

Stop joking.. a Yugumo yesterday let me die because he refused to use his guns on a 4k hp BB which my MK just forced a repair on.... he even said: "My guns don't damage BB"... I got a chat ban telling him what kind of player he is

It's not 'sticking up' for anyone, it's about the 'why' of the rules. Naming and shaming would soon make up 99% of this forum if allowed, and the issue is that it's easy to post screenshots. I got a chat ban in game yesterday because I called someone an idiot, a noob, a shitter and so on. And he was, a Yugumo which only had to use his guns to put a BB at 4k hp on fire since my MK just forced a repair on him.... but no, he said: "guns lol" "My guns don't damage a BB" I don't mind MY chat ban, but the 'player' called me the exact same things ( noob, idiot blah blah blah ). I even gotten a PM just like you after the game with more insults. Ofc, I couldn't reply since only I gotten a chat ban ( over zealous in game moderators will choose who I division with better next time ). Either way, what if I posted the screenshot of the message I got after the game, but didn't tell up front what happened during the match? It would almost look like I was an angel and the other guy the only one who done things wrong. That is why naming and shaming is bad, even if people know there isn't enough proof, reputations will be damaged. Rumors are hard to stop, people believe what they hear even just on a subconscious level.

1. Battles played is no indicator of skill, many guys named Steve play this game ( just as WoT ) 2. Karma system is a placeholder, it's in no way final. WG stated they want to work on it and expand it but it's not a priority. Until then, just disregard the entire thing. If I end a match and see I been reported as many times as I sunk an enemy ship I'm proud of my loss off karma 3. Containers, really? I been playing with a standard account since more than a week, in that time I earned 2 million credits in the few games I played. And all my ships have premium everything on them, no cheap skate allowed. Granted I own a shitload of premiums which help a lot, I played some reasonable Zao games today where I did +- 80k dmg and we won, and I lost 50k credits. A single game with MK with 100k gave me 460k profit. The economy doesn't seem to be harsh, I don't think we need to be given more freebies. If you perform well your income will reflect it ( and as you say, encouraging good play is important no? ). CV economy I hear is brutal though on high tiers, but that's a case on it's own.

This statement is wrong since if it were you would perform better in it. CurrySausage performs better ( in your hands, in current meta ) so it's the better BB. -

I was talking about the mod with strangers123 at the time that is why I can remember it. There were also screenshots and video's floating around where the circles would be drawn regardless of ships actually being spotted. This ofc would also look like 'random' circles since the ships they belonged to would not be drawn on the map. Maybe we're talking about the same, idk
