o/ Fellow Cheesehead. I also got PTSD ( and Asperger ), but that's not the reason I get chat banned sometimes as well. I get chat banned because I'm a male reproductive organ when I meet bad and stupid players. Sadly there are many of those in game. Hiding behind an affliction is not going to help you in the long run. To all people asking for WG to 'have mercy', please reconsider. If OP learned his lesson he will get plenty off opportunity to show this.. AFTER his suspension ended. And also, 7 day suspension is NOT something tied in with the 'average foul mouthed remarks'. If that were so I would know a couple of people who would have had this happen to them multiple times. And 4.08 is more used for grievfing and intentional team killing sprees then 'foul language'. ( stupid spell checkers should learn grammar )

And I've been top 3 or even on top of my entire team while sailing in an Atago in an almost exclusively tier X match.. What's the problem? You XP gain is much higher for engaging higher tier ships, and you're in a darn Atago! 9.1km detection, push up with your DD's and help them kill enemy DD and you actually already are a large part of a winning team. Sure, you might get oneshot by those BB's, but that can happen the exact same in tier 8 ( well except these BB's care a little less about angling ). Especially an Atago doesn't really care much... you're the only tier 8 CA with a heal ffs, you're basically more of an Ibuki than a Mogami. With DD's though... this week we took out a 3 Sims division and it backfired hard. Our team got a Yugumo ( MM rule to match top tier in class ) but got matched up against a pair of Fletchers and Benson. Sims is not bad, but against a Fletcher.. and it was domination. We tried our damnest, and I think all 3 of us ended in the top 5 of the team by trying to be aggressive and spot the Fletchers and engage those enemy DD's regardless. But the massive difference in dpm and especially torpedo's just meant we were severely outclassed. Now, we did make it hard on MM because we took a 3 same ship division, but it felt really.. frustrating in a way. It would have been more fun if the enemy DD's were more closely tier matched to us ( instead of just requiring the top tier of a class in the match to be equal ). The same can go with the other classes. If you're the ONLY -2 BB or CA or DD and you have to fight your counter class on the enemy team ( only top tiers have to match, and who knows your top tier might be on the other side of the map.. ) it can be really frustrating. Which also means it's incredibly rewarding if you're able to pull it off.

T7 is far from the same as tier 5, tier 5 suffers from the MM protection of tier 1-4 and is more often up tiered. Tier 7 in response to this is more often top tier then not. There is also a bigger gap between tier 8 and 10 then 7 and 9. Tier 7 is widely regarded as the 'optimal' tier with current MM rules.

Do you meet min. requirements? If not, that's one clear answer. Do you meet min. requirements and are still in late.even by minutes? Then WG should increase the min. requirements! I play a 12v12 game, if one of my allies is minutes late my team started at a disadvantage. This isn't a game where you can join battles in progress, we don't get respawns like Warthunder or something. Especially DD's in domination, or a CV which is critical in scouting the main enemy fleet at the start of a battle, are essential to the gameplay experience off all other members in your team. Disrupting this is breaking the Terms Of Service as it falls under disruptive behavior. A BB which is a bit late is much less disruptive then a DD, especially in domination mode and especially with low number of DD's to start with. edit: I guess what I'm saying is: if you are having some issues with map loading and you do meet min requirements and you absolutely want to play, please don't play CV or DD's ;)

I blame the chat ban on a flawed implementation of the report system, I had an argument with Zao which ran into my Roon and shot me ( turning him pink ), I made a remark about that and some insults were thrown both ways, Immediately I get a chat ban and after the game I see I got zeven reports. And now I hear that the 'automated system' is progressive, so if you have gotten a chat ban once the next time it would be even easier ( and the guy was in a division... ). Btw, Zao get's 777 base XP vs my 14xx, guess I wasn't such a noob afterall And if you would watch the other vod from that day you would see how I am staying pink, my proud and friendly division members ram into me each game resetting the amount of games I need to play without team damage

This is simply not true, because for most people reaching/playing end tier content is not their goal. And if you remove tier X always being top tier, your argument falls apart. Everyone can reach tier 7 without spending a dime. And having premium consumables doesn't give you better MM. Heck even premium account doesn't give you better MM ( before that alu hat remark is added ). edit: And I find +-2 perfectly fair, in every game I'm in. With the exception of some tier 5 cruisers which were favorites of mine before the MM changes and more so before the captain skill changes with AFT ( Murmansk for instance ). Murmansk suffered a lot, it's a strong tier 5 but when constantly up tiered it lost a lot of appeal. And if this goes for Murmansk it goes even more for Omaha itself. But this tier 5 issue is well known, and you can escape it by moving up to tier 7. edit2: And as said below, as a f2p player recently I am still earning credits while playing average tier 7 or up. And I use premium everything on everything.

.... WG would not model a ship just for ST. One simple argument. Now try to dismiss it please, without accusing people of trolling or trying to derail a topic. It feels more like you're trying to present your train of thought as the only valid one, dismissing the arguments of others only because they don't suit you. So you're saying WG spend months if not more modeling a ship just for ST, and will not use the fruits of their labour for another two years just because you haven't heard anything to indicate this? Ow no... I fell for it didn't I edit: Tuccy explained pretty clearly being critical of WG is not frowned upon, as long as you can argument it and are not disruptive. I don't believe anyone would be turned down for being critical towards this situation, there are ST members which posted critically about the situation ( and who provided arguments why ), that alone should give you some trust in how WG deals with critics. In fact, people who are critical and who can use arguments to support their criticism should be prime target for the coordinators, as those people will most often provide the most valued ( thought out ) feedback.

I have a stronger dislike for Epicenter atm, but that's because I more frequently encounter it at the tiers I'm playing most. And yes, that means I would like that mode to be opt-in as well but.. that wouldn't work unless we had a larger player base I guess. And frankly. sometimes Epicenter is actually fun, it just requires more of your team to not be utterly clueless on what they should be doing ( or well, maybe better said it requires more off a consensus in your team on what to do ).

I like several proposals: Game mode kept but only as optional ( opt in ). Game move moved to PVE ( with a mission or something, might be actually fun... and it might give the Campbeltown something to blow up ).

Do you know what you're getting into possibly.... If you can live with that..

My captains are not specced properly for the new line, and I don't have the doubloons to fix this. I also will not spend money at the game right now, since I want to see which direction WG is going to take with the BB utility sharing with cruisers, and with tactical gameplay elements which resolve on teamwork to counter. I do think the Yugumo is a fine ship, it looks in every way a straight upgrade ( .1km less concealment iirc as only 'nerf' ), so I would love to test it with a proper captain someday

Well when people say you should brawl with BB's they don't mean hug the enemy and this has two reasons mainly. Number one is the presence of torpedo launchers on many cruisers. But number two has to do with your turret traverse and manoeuvrability. You can't keep your guns on target if you let the distance drop to much ( GEBB's with their fast turret traverse, and Dunkerque for instance are exceptions ). So yeah, charging straight at a cruiser is not the best option. Any equal skilled DD should make mince meat out of any BB. A CV will actually I think take longer to sink a BB then a DD.

I didn't say that... it would be a proper fight with Atago vs Amagi... And I knew the bet, but there was never a sliver of doubt that it would actually happen. So for me the results is more showcasing that BB's still counter CA's as they are designed to do. Atago is not a CA though but a DD right
