I never said to remove the hydro from the tier 9 and 10 now did I? So mentioning it repeatedly trying to make it seem like I did is getting tiresome. I also never said to remove it entirely from the tier 8, I think a range reduction would be a nice start. The hydro is stronger in smoke meta then secondaries, especially with so much static play.

Explain why it's not useless? It's a popularity measure, THE EXACT SAME AS THE +- we had on the forums. And WG removed that because in their opinion it was toxic ( more I guess because WG employees were getting -100's on their posts sometimes ).

Only if the DD's are tier matched on enemy team ( currently only top tiers have to match meaning that having triple sims + 1 Yugumo can face off against 3 Fletchers and a Benson ). Also, +3 for most BB's is not that great, Kongo vs Amagi.. really? +-2 for BB's is fine I think, even for DD's it doesn't HAVE to be larger ( but if their tier matched... imagine my Kamikaze R having 5 tier 8 BB's to feast on

Tbh, lots of people were sealclubbing at those tiers so the low number of games needed to advance isn't that relevant.

And they WILL nerf it, or well they said they want to limit this performance. However, they also said the ship in randoms was NOT overperforming. Which just means a LOT of TERRIBLE or BAD players play the ship thus skewing the results a lot in randoms. Doesn't mean the ship is balanced, just means baddies like playing it. edit: mind you, the secondary build is the strongest build, but for competitive play the hydro is the biggest tool due to the existing smoke meta.. don't ask me how they should balance it for both randoms and competitive play... I rather they nerf the performance in competitive play and let the baddies in randoms get worse results, I mean balancing around bad players is not a good thing ( big gap between skill ceiling and floor means a lot harder to balance ). And I'm also not that worked up about it, I am still doing ok against those BB's but there is a problem when a certain meta strongly favours a certain ship. Infact I was pretty happy with the amount of Amagi's in last round of Winter King games, means teams are trying things and think Amagi is viable, which indicates the balance isn't that off indeed. Imo Bis doesn't need hydro with the range it has, for reasons already mentioned. But that doesn't mean I want it 'nerfed because of overperformance' no it means I want it nerfed because off principle, and I am well aware that the impact on performance will not be that large.

No, satisfying is being that only tier 8 CA in that match end besting the Yamy's and Montie's on your team in XP. Seriously, yeah it can suck, I mean yesterday I told my division members we should stop playing tier 8... but that was 1 in the morning or something, with 5k people online, meaning we were constantly in tier X and with low tier 8 participation ( again, server population plays a big role ). But it's also unavoidable, and +-1 would make the queue's longer, the game less diverse, and thus in the end less interesting. I wouldn't want to play tier 6 and only see Clevelols and Amoeba's ( figure off speech ) I like it when you see a wider range off opposition. Also, you don't need to always be on equal terms with every opponent. That would seem good, but it only caters to selfish people who only play for themselves, instead of encouraging teamwork where the sum is greater then the parts.

You cannot judge performance by raw dmg numbers alone, did you check win rate? Since win rate also indicates how USEFULL that damage is. You do realize doing damage isn't an objective, but a means to an end (winning games)?

Bismarcks hydro should be nerved though. It's already agile enough to torpedobeat on it's own. FdG and KW are big lumbering targets which even with hydro can't dodge most torps. Hipper could use some love I agree, or maybe I just played her wrong. Ow and no one called to remove hydro from the BB's did they? Certainly not 'because of one CA', that's a rather strange assertion to make from the posts in this thread

But that's always the risk they take themselves. If you don't want to run the risk you division same tiers. I took a seven with two eights, got a ten match. Being in a DD I was still useful

I can tell you right now that this activity is sooner activating certain people in processing the list quicker then it would distract them

Flamu says skip it, generally I tend to agree. The Notser video had better gun performance then I expected though but it's one video from one match. If you could reliable citadel cruisers at around 12km or so it would be an instant buy ofc. But it looks like that's wishful thinking especially considering the few shells in the air. I'll probably buy Shineyhorse instead, I miss playing her a bit and 30% off is nice. And it's a magical tier 7, the sweet spot in MM.

I like the statement However I don't object to German BB's having hydro. But it should be shorter range and duration then cruisers, say 1.5 to 2km less range? That together with the tier 9 and 10 bad turning circle should remove some of this 'mystical' aura that surrounds their abilities. ps it's a love hate relationship. Love having them on my team pushing in, hate being in a smoke and seeing a German BB just going straight at me with hydro active

Nope. Only those tier 8 CA's are in a bit of a pickle. But I bet those wouldn't complain if they were +2 and up against tier 6's.

I expect the community contributors to also be able to review the ship before it is 'released'. Remember current iteration is just for balance testing.

Because WG doesn't disclose this info normally, it's against their policy. But frankly, as I been saying, anyone should have known WG would not spend months modeling a ship class just for ST it is not economical.

What are 'pc lenses'? And 'hack 3rd party'....
