We had times in the past where it was the actual WG server causing the massive packet loss, but if this were true the battle chat would be filled with ->> "game unplayable" comments. If it's isolated to some individual player or a group of players there is almost always a physical node which is causing the issues ( our Scandinavian captain's should know as iirc it was Tellix or something alike which has caused problems for that entire region before? ). If not, it might be a home issue, with a router which could use a reset to flush IPTables or something. Or bad QoS settings on a heavily used internal network.

These skills seem more aimed at better player retention at lower tiers, aka casuals who install the game play a couple of games and give up because they don't bother to actually learn game mechanics as they are now.
-
We need a harsher high tier-Noob/Bot punishing economy.

This is not 'poor', this is probably above average ( 47% - 48% being average ). Adding to that, WR doesn't say everything, there are other stats which are better indicators certainly with a low battle count of 350 battles Take note of the post above this one, and come play with the Forumites for some more fun as well as an opportunity to learn from more experienced players. ( channel btw is from Sturmtiger304, some people have issues finding it ). -
Public Test 060 tomorrow - new skills - without Keen Intuition...

I know I might be the minority but I also know that this minority makes up for a large part of the 'senior' player base and I am convinced that while this dumbing down of the game will help with player retention it will in the long run be detrimental to the game. To this I feel so strongly that I can say without a shimmer of a doubt that I will stop playing will this make it into the game, and for me as someone who is not in a competitive clan that includes 'randoms'. What I believe WG will listen to is not the point is it? I mean even if I KNEW I was fighting an uphill battle ( and trust me, I am well aware I am ) that should never actually stop me from trying. As I do like this game, a lot actually. I spend a lot of effort into this game, effort in the year I spend bug hunting and doing menial tasks, as well as live testing and providing largely meaningless feedback. It does me great pain to see the direction the game is heading in, more so because I am more aware than most how much influence our feedback has. -
Looks like packet loss to me, run the network analysis tool I posted above.
-
The only adaptation possible is NOT PLAYING THE GAME. Hopefully WG comes to it's senses.

You should have an 'log' of the buy throughout whatever payment method you used scratch that, you bought it with ingame doubloons and not directly in the premium store You might be on to something, though if you had replays enabled or something wouldn't that satisfy CS that you indeed had the cammo's before the IJN line split?
-
Sounds indeed like a desync but it might not be server related ( but somewhere else along your route to the game server ). Did you try running WGCheck's network analysis? https://eu.wargaming.net/support/kb/articles/596

Utter and utter BS. Removing skill from the game in favor of even higher survivability of BB's.... when it was Sub_Octavian himself who said ages ago BB's are a problem because they already live too long. They could easilly leave the 4 fire spots in and make the Fire Prevention skill act as a method off decreasing duration of fires, this would at least not remove skill from the game but instead just be another diaper for the BBabies.

https://captain.woeramods.com/#0.6.0.0; You can use that one as well ( it was up even earlier btw ).

You can quote me and I can see that in the new posts summary in my profile but you are and will always stay on my ignore list dear 'sir'. So you just could stop trying to address me I'm not interested in what you might have to say anyway edit: Besides, I read a quote from yesterday I think where Sub_Octavian already said there would be a new iteration of the captain skills on the PT which is a clear indication they are changing something and want feedback on those changes when done. edit2: I been told someone is objecting to statistics being a part of the discussion, so I thought I should explain perhaps to those who I do care about how they are related: WG's new 'skills' are aimed at retention of bad or casual players over good or experienced players. They make life easier for those who don't care about improving or learning, but just want to shoot at stuff. This is also reflected by the move to remove firing from concealment. This is off course not a good method of increasing player retention, as it will put off a large part of the existing playerbase in favor of a few new people who don't quit playing in the short term But those new players will imo never make up for the depreciated value put on the game by the existing upper echelons of the playerbase.

Split the game into Arcade Mode and Simulation Mode
mtm78 replied to Admiral_Stoex's topic in General Discussion
We never had dud torpedo's. -
Tried that combination of mods and they load fine here. ( edit: actually only different ship icons but I doubt those could cause a crash ). Also, where does it fail? Loading the game itself or loading a battle?

Public Test 060 tomorrow - new skills - without Keen Intuition...
mtm78 replied to Smeggo's topic in General Discussion
Yeah let's kill randoms for people who like playing tactically and just allow 'competitive' players to have a gamemode available to them without this manure of a skill Ow wait, that was sarcasm Sorry but that sounds just absolutely bonkers. -
Maybe the fact that you have 400 battles with a 47% win rate is preventing your from seeing ( or caring ) about the actual impact this skill ( Radio w/e ) would have on actual gameplay. Especially for 'smart' captains who play the game well. ps. that cv skill is indeed a bit silly but it isn't game breaking

You started with asking if you're the only one who doesn't see the big buffs to BB's and nerfs to other classes, this indicates you did actually read the previous 24 pages so please don't ask me to repeat every point already made? -
It's still happening even on PT so don't expect it to be fixed next patch

Yes, you are the ONLY one complaining there aren't enough BB buffs in the patch -

Either that or just make the fire duration shorter based on a percentage. The removal of the two center zone's is to much, since bow and stern fires are A> much harder to get B> also make normal HE damage almost impossible. -
Shows how many enemy ships are aiming at you.

I am not going to unlock the GS in time to leisurely complete the missions, so I am tempted to actually SPEND MONEY on WG and just buy GS.... but that depends ENTIRELY on them removing Keen Intuition ( I don't care they changed the name ) from the skill tree and also to stop putting more diapers on the BBabies ( Fire Prevention skill now making ENTIRE superstructure ONE FIRE ZONE? Ow please ).
-
Was already suggested earlier and yes it would add some viability to the otherwise utterly broken perk.

Split the game into Arcade Mode and Simulation Mode
mtm78 replied to Admiral_Stoex's topic in General Discussion
No. 1. playerbase split is bad unless we have one which is a multitude of the current one. 2. BW engine / game design doesn't allow a 'realistic mode' RDF is just a tool for casuals who don't want to play World off Warships but World of Shooting at stuff in battleships, it should never have left the drawing board as it's broken in it's core concept.
