Bad poll, NO NO and then I have to fill in some number...
-
IJN alpha dmg was lowered..... Blys is more about the fires anyway isn't she? Not to mention you're shooting fairly damaged ships so damage saturation plays a role.
-
As per tittle, happy new year fellow captains Here's to hoping WG doesn't screw up the game in 2017 so we can continue to enjoy a skillful gaming environment

I don't feel a day older then I did before.. infact I haven't slept as deeply in quite some time so I feel kind of 'rejuvenated'

And who would put any value on iChase's opinion? Sooooo.. he 'tricked' someone HE SAYS because he uses someone as bait and then torps a ship he EXPECTS to have RPF and which he expects he 'tricked' into thinking he wasn't there.... WTF kind of bs is that, without the skill in the game there would be no way to know if another ship was closer, so the only thing he has shown is that IF the minnetaur had potato finder, and IF the minnetaur was an idiot which only followed his arrows on his screen, that THEN you could POTENTIALLY use RDF to lure someone in a 'trap'. And that's his counter, his reason to claiming the skill isn't utterly broken in it's concept alone?

What do you want for wows in the next year?(includes poll)
mtm78 replied to _ASW_'s topic in General Discussion
I vote 'other'. What I want is a better tutorial system for new players, aimed at actually teaching them how to play the game instead of WG having to hand out diaper after diaper to the BBabies in order to keep up player retention. edit: Maybe with the Haifuri collab we might see it... but I dread the requirements judging how Missouri is already so expensive. That would be nice seeing how I got Shima/Senjou/Yamato as my first and only tier X's so far- 59 replies

http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/70395-happy-newyear/ can't you use the existing topic ffs Happy New Year :>

This was already suggested and I also supported that. Going silent with drawback of no assisted damage but being able to negate Potato Finder skilled BBabies is .... still bad but meh less game breaking then this utter crap which it is now.
-
WG wants to retain casual scrubs who just start the game playing the iconic BB's they grew up hearing about so much... or which they think should be OP. And then they realize BB's are NOT the easiest class to PLAY WELL. They might be the most forgiving for new players but they do scale with actual skill. Most people don't care about learning this required skill, and quit the game while using the BBaby bingo card to voice their complains ( you have seen the chart posted before ). WG wants to retain more players it seems... but instead of giving those new players more ways to actually LEARN THE GAME, they are putting more diapers on the BBabies.
-
You can't flank in 30 seconds. Still game breaking. edit: UNLESS the distance it works at is at most something like 8km and even then the BBabies don't NEED this skill.
-
I will admit I feel reluctant to comment on the other skills as I feel anything which takes away from how utterly completely broken the Potato Finder skill is in it's concept, might be WG's cue to claim 'well feedback wasn't universally shared that it's utterly crap, so we'll go ahead and implement it for now'. Fire Prevention skill, it was useless and I understand they want to make it more useful but removing a center fire zone is just utter bull as BB's do not need such a buff. They could easilly make the perk actually be worth something by limiting the fire duration for those with the skill, which is far less taking away from those fighting BB's.
-
That is also true, but it also is true that by trying to set those sections on fire you're forgoing on doing actual HE damage itself as there is no superstructure there with low enough armor value's to allow HE to deal damage like you can when aiming at the center structure. Certainly you would agree it takes away less skill if they changed the fire prevention skill to have a shorter duration instead of removing one of the two most effective fire zone's especially when taking into account you can also deal normal damage. Also, sorry for being cheap, I feel forced to do so because of how cheap these new 'perks' are You know as well as most decent players that BB's do not need more actual buffs and it's the player base which needs to be shown how to play them properly ( be it through tutorial, pve missions or what ever means ).
-
They could also learn proper damage control party usage, which wouldn't take away skill from the people fighting them.

Modding request regarding user interface "Radio Position Finding"-skill
mtm78 replied to Cpt_Andre's topic in General Discussion
I talked about this with people who tested it before it made it to the PT server, before it indicated a real VECTOR aka bearing to the closest ship. Now it's supposedly only giving a 'map sector' bearing, which means even changing the texture to an arrow will not point it directly at the person ( unless he happens to be in the middle of a 'map sector' ). Now, how useful this added 'randomness' is depends on how big the 'map sectors' are. Either way, the skill should just be burned to the ground aka never leave PT ( it shouldn't have left W/E drawingboard it came of from in the first place ). -
So you're saying BBabies already have enough diapers for their BabyBoats?

Better not tell the mods what it means in Dutch ey
