I think you might been living under a roch, there are monthly tournaments. But they are not tier X
-
No it's called magnetism... or klein field take your pick

Yamato can stealth fire Not that I would recommend doing it but with spotter plane 37km range and visibility of 31km after firing or something ( where is that video... darn can't find it ). edit: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/70508-invisi-fire/page__st__40__pid__1543179#entry1543179 there you go

They say a lot of things, RU forum seems to disagree with what you're trying to tell us here though.

More than 3 months since release, and Royal Navy smoke is still buggy as heck
mtm78 replied to Kassiba's topic in General Discussion
No to mention I failed to get my second puff when going BACKWARDS at 12kts..... Seems the dev's don't know their own smoke mechanics ( or smoked one to many themselves ). -
Ninja BB's omg what has this game come though And then WG says stealth firing is an issue...

It's still bugged on PT, so don't expect it to be fixed in the next patch. Also it's not limited to RN CL's, the GE DD's I tried also seemed to sometimes take longer than they should with actually deploying a puff. -
Use Ocean, problem solved! What is worse btw is that with the game open sometimes if I have to many twitch channels open as well they really stutter a lot Ow, and WG promised a better ingame chat implementation when they added 'clan functionality' and they said that would come this year no? Looking forward to that for sure

Be prepared, I think you're looking for a job interview at WG in the very near future
-
But don't you see that would favor ships with turrets which can keep up with the increased maneuverability. EG WG will never even consider it : There are indeed quite some issues left in tier progression in relation with the +-2 MM, as in particular CA/CL's seem to be the one's which suffer the most from being up tiered.

WG plox buff BB concealment, my cruisers and destroyers are way to sneaky in comparison....

Stock ships, what is this 'stock ships' you talk about? I don't even buy a ship I unlock before I have enough free xp to get the modules needed to make them playable. If that means I got to play 50 games in premiums just get enough free xp, so be it. At least most premiums are 'pretty competitive', and don't have needed upgrades Ok that's a bit off a troll comment, ofc I played stock ships. But when I did, I always played different then I would with an competitively specced ship. It's like playing Pensacola, you are never the first one going in, instead you wait until your team is engaging and then pick on distracted enemies. Does it suck, yes it does, your team in effect has half a player less, but often times there are also people on the enemy team who also aren't fully upgraded. In fact I used to actually check during battle loading which ships on enemy team were stock or not, now I don't do that anymore as I tend just rely on my observations in the actual battle but it can still help make one feel less 'insignificant' ( or .. it can reinforce this feeling instead ). Roon was ok with the range module free-xp'd

Any skill is better then RDF but I don't think it ( perm speed boost through a perk ) 'touches' on why WG ( or someone in WG ) thought RDF would be a good skill to add. edit: I also wonder if such a buff to turning circle wouldn't be wasted on certain ships because of their slow turret traverse.... unless you want a perk aimed at buffing CA's Ow and if you are, I don't expect WG to consider it since 99% of the changes are favoring another specific class

Impregnator is less OP then Arkensaus, my personal stats proof it But yes their all in the same dock
-
Pff do it like a man then and use Yubari not Imperator Yubari is also much cuter!

But you CAN NOT compensate it without replacing skill ( in positioning ) with RNG ( lower accuracy for shooting at ships which otherwise would have been hidden ). And that is a VERY bad trade. That is why I think they should leave it in. And to add better tutorials to the game for new players. Tutorials which show positioning, concealment, team 'roles' and so on. Because unless they start doing that, they will have to keep dumbing down the game to suit the new casual players. Some people might claim it sounds 'elitist', but if the mechanics worked in CBT where players who joined where actually interested in learning... I seriously fear the recent direction changes and more so where they might lead. I don't want this game to become the next WoWp. edit: and yes, you say it's not BB whining, but I say it is. Just as Sub_Octavian claims RDF is not to simplify the game for casual scrubs, but we all know better. Well maybe not everyone, but enough of 'us'. No other class complains about invisifire because it's not an issue for them anyway. Cruisers which die to invisifire are just terrible players ( and I give their opinion a value of 0 ) and DD's are not hittable in 9/10 cases at invisi fire range of other DD's ( Blys ... well ok ... ). CV's don't care about invisifire much because they got planes to deal with it. The only class which complains is BBabies. And you can claim it's not true, everyone I know who actually can read RU and who follows RU forums will support my claim it's because of the BBaby whine from RU forums. Even if it 'was added as mistake', WG wouldn't go around changing it now unless these BBabies cried about it so much.

What do you want for wows in the next year?(includes poll)

In my port where I left her For a serious answer, see Lightbaron's reply above mine

I actually like that idea, suppressing some skills in lower tier battles.. Would need a lot of tweaking, as they first need to get the skill tree in something which would support this ( eg you limit captains in tier 1 to 5 to max 3 point skills or something... idk, but you get the basic idea ). Tell WG to not sell tier II. III and IV premiums then ( Tuccybana, Katori, Yuubari for instance )

If Wax accepts, I will stream the matches on twitch deal

But it's also not immersion breaking, not to me anyway ( then again I never been in a real naval battle so what do I know ). The thing is, it's in the game, and it balances out classes and ships. And no, even removing target lock is not a viable replacement because it replaces SKILL ( in positioning ) with just more RNG. This game does not need more RNG. People should just be thought how to play the game. Force people to play through PvE scenarios explaining how screening, spotting, positioning are KEY ASPECTS of the game. And only if they pass that campaign they are allowed to play PvP. Would remove all those whines from the chart I posted ( again, which isn't even mine so sorry if it bothers you so much... ).
-
Invisi fire actually works you know.... Well... not for everyone it seems... but it does work.
-
That's your opinion and I will not tell you it's annoying to hear it all the time. I would expect the same from you though. It IS a game problem, it's been in the game since Alpha and ships depend on it. Removing it will just cater to the BBabies ( see I did it again ), who want the game to be 'shooting at always visible smaller ships with my big guns'. You can't replace it with faster rudder or W/E ( lack of aim assist ), since that just adds more RNG in favor off skill. edit: I could also call it insulting to one's intelligence to doubt this -> .. has been the developers main guide on balance changes for quite some time already. ps it's not even my image, I just 'borrowed' it from someone who seems to agree with how I feel. Maybe we should do a poll and ask the EU forumites the question if they also feel this chart is annoying...

Maybe you're calling out the wrong caps? Maybe people look up your stats when you call something out? Trust me, just calling something out does not work the way you seem to think it would. Why would good/excellent players listen if someone calls out something they know to be sub optimal? And yes, they should then use chat to communicate how it's not the best way and what they would prefer, but there is a reason most don't. It's called Dunning-Kruger, and it results in good players when they use chat to make suggestions/comment on bad plays, to get responses like: "stfu noob, I am better player then you will ever be blahblahblah" So most good players will just ignore it. Happens to me as well, going for a cap and asking help and the team deciding to go somewhere else. But I try to keep a close eye on the minimap and the moment I get that feeling I will not have the support I need, I just bail and change tactics to delaying enemy or joining the lemmings on the other flank

Nono, I did not call him out personally, I am addressing a wide audience ;)
