    oo..... low caliber ships should only be capable of damaging turrets and not putting BB's on fire? Sounds like so much FUN, being able to be a BB's [edited]in that you can't actually damage their HP pools but just their modules. ps. Did your new ram finally allow you to play PvP so your comment would actually apply to the balance discussion everyone else in this thread is having? CA's are NOT in the game to just be BB's 'support' class
  2. Winning is the goal of the game, 'tanking damage' / 'scouting' / 'cap zone control' / 'map control' are all methods to archieve this goal but they are not the goal an sich. You do more average damage then me, yet I win much more games. Maybe this is because I play for the objectives ( or you play CV's / more BB's ), always, and I don't really care if I get zero damage in a game if I can cap a couple of zones and scout out some enemy DD's. Infact, one of the games I had the most fun was one where I didn't even touch my fire button the whole game just scouted, capped and used F3 to call focus to enemy DD's which were trying to close the distance with me. Ofc, some of the other most fun games were brawling bonanzas but what I am trying to say is: adapting to what's needed in each particular game to get a victory is what will get your win ratio up. Some people don't care about winning though, they claim they have more fun playing their own game inside the game. That makes me sad, as I have to compensate for those people
  3. The guy might be either a 10/10 troll or just delusional, he's been using ( very very flawed ) arguments so I can see why the mods haven't closed the thread yet. To bad for OP though -> Ships which sit on the first page of win rate sorted summary for their class are not really suited for being called UP. Though perhaps OP just disappointed with the gun performance, and damage wise she is only ahead of Arizona by a slim margin. But, ships are not just balanced around their guns, Scharnhorst is quick, has decent AAA, has excellent ( turtleback ) armor and it's this platform which makes the gun performance 100% acceptable. And do notice that 27% MBH is actually way above average

    Indeed... Good idea. Tell you what, if during second PTS round the skill is still in the game ( can they be THAT stupid.... ) I'll do this and post a video showing both replays simultaneously just to make 100% sure the skill is or is not using an exact bearing.

    I have seen ships popping up off center from my RDF indicator, and I seen video's where this also happens. The info is from EU ST, it was posted in this thread I think or one of the other one's, the first iteration had an actual arrow as indicator and it was showing the absolute bearing. Masakundra looked up the sprite for me, it's in dangers.swf and it wouldn't be hard to change the sprite back to an arrow using JPEXS. Training room tests would then have to been done to make 100% sure what the indicator actually points at, which should be easy with both replays showing it from two perspectives simultaneously.

    The information that the SERVER sends is precisse because the CENTER of the current widget carefully tracks the nearest menace bearing (This, although, doesn't exclude the possibility that the server is adding a constant "error" offset... But seeing how rushed all this has been, I highly doubt it)... No it's not, it doesn't give exact bearing to the ship it gives a bearing to the center of the map grid the ship is in. Idk exactly how big the grid is but I am assuming WG is using the standard grid size also used to mark minimap coordinates ( A - B - C ~ and 1 - 2 - 3 ~ ). This was my first concern as well, but replacing the sprite with an arrow like indicator would therefore not give an exact bearing. That being said, the fact ( that I'm told ) that is uses map grids seems to be counterintuitive with how smooth the tracking seems to be. With only using map grids, it should be more 'jumpy'. So idk.. Not for sure anyway. Well modAPI which Lesta is developing would fix this as there would be no way for mods to access http interface outside of approved domains. Sadly modAPI is WIP so current mods with python access could potentially do this. Even when modAPI would be finished it might be possible for people to modify or work around the restricted http interface.

    No the problem is people who think the game is about shooting stuff with guns only, that is the real problem. People who don't like concealment. People who complain about smoke. People who complain about HE spam. And mostly, BBabies who complain about torpedo's.. Those people need to lay off, they already ruined IJN DD line and now they want to complain about USN as well? Random torps don't hit that often, it takes more skill to drive a torpedo boat then a BabyBoat.

    Meh for me he more personifies someone who feels a bit out of place between all the neuro typicals which seemingly make up such a large part of the earths population I had to buy a new mic recently and the guys on TS seem to agree I sound like a 16 year old girl anyway

    Given in by whines from the BBabies, as otherwise it wouldn't be economical to now go in and change it. Certainly because it's actually a non issue balance wise ( it being present... removing it is would add balance issues ).

  13. We don't see RU ST leaks that often, it's most of the time ASIA region. Might indicate RU ST also isn't so happy with recent WG balance changes Here's to hoping Potato Finder will be removed.. if not I will not even play it.

    You could try asking strangers123 if he could make a screenshot from your replay, he has most of the older clients archived for replay purposes. Then again, I am entirely unsure if WG would even consider it proof as one could mod a client to display other cammo's.
  18. I kind of like that premium and non premium is closer, stops the play4free noobs from claiming they would be better if they would also use premium equipment. But, even without premium account I had no issues running premium consumables so idk what the whine was about in the first place.

    72 games played, first post on the forums At least put some effort into it and TRY to come up with actual reasons on why it would be the worst feature in the game and it should be removed asap. And dont tell me it is because off your Dunkerque being invisi fired to death
