There is a mod which disables chat Would allow you to play against humans which should be more enjoyable then bots if you can ignore the 'crap' they give each other I guess? You can't talk with the division mates you're playing with though.

I7 3770 16gb and an old hd7850 2gb, windows 10 -> +- 60fps with custom ( mostly high ) settings. WoWs is the only game on my SSD ( 128gb mostly dedicated to OS + programs, games are an HDD ) and I have a 40-45s countdown for battles. Downgraded my 120mbps internet connection some time ago as I wasn't using it fully and I needed to balance the monthly checkbook, 60mbps is more then enough and since I'm so close to the server I usually have a 20ms ping. GTX770 should be faster then my gpu but you do need a decent cpu to feed it ( especially since WoWs uses older graphics api... Dx12 or Vulkan would be a lot less demanding. DOOM for instance on vulcan run's with 20fps higher on the same settings as openGL ). Never had issues with WoWs, not even on my backup ( eg: sons ) pc with a very old amd dual core and 8gb ddr2-800 and gtx275, It even runs wows with low settings ( while it's way below system requirements due to the incredibly slow cpu ). That is running windows 8.1 atm though, my son didn't want me to update it as he didn't want to have to reinstall all his games It's going to happen anyway soon as I'm noticing his bloatware is getting to a point where it's just more logical to do a clean os install then to keep investing time in cleaning it up. With windows 10 though i don't expect it to run WoWs as the OS overhead is bigger ( afaik ). Updating mobo+cpu with some old ddr2 compatible platform ( cheapest... depending on who donates stuff to me ) should allow him to keep using it for his games ( he plays mostly minecraft.. and block n load and those kind of games ).

Or you should not play tier 8 coop and expect results which differ from what you're getting now. Low investment of skills -> low returns in xp and credits, as it should be.

With me sticking to single ship usually results in higher session stats, it's the constant switching which can make me less able to 'auto pilot' a ship. That being said, switching between gunboat dd's to RN cl's for example isn't much of an issue as there are less differences then switching from Yamato to Akizuki for instance.

Whatever has been done, thinking about my 9y old who has a WoWs account, this kind of 'chat messages' imo deserve a more lengthy chat ban then the one day handed out by the automated system. In fact I actually suspect that if OP had made a ticket with support this is exactly what would have happened. Thick skin, yeah sure you can call me anything you want and I might even get triggered and rage about it on TS but I won't lose sleep over it when I'm done raging ( and then checking the stats of who ever it was who thought he could insult me... and then rolling on the floor laughing when I realize it's just another crapplayer better adapt at shittalking then playing ).But I would lose sleep over my kids children having to put up with this crap.

The way I play when in these situations is seeing where my team pushed and be in the middle of this push. As long as you're not the lead ship you're unlikely to get focused out, and in a push your range is not an issue as the engagements should be well within your gun range ( also, bearing Pepsi, your concealment is sufficient to get into gun range, if not your team's DD's are doing it wrong ). Or the other way around, see where the enemy pushes into your team and defend from the middle of your team. Don't make yourself the easy target but don't hide outside off your gun range either. And pay attention to the minimap,often times low tier ships are not priority targets so you have a bit more room for flanking and securing choke points. Being in +-2 MM ( and before +-3 ) has taught me a lot about map tactics.
