Being in the optimal spot to use that smoke, ensuring you have spotters to make full use of your smoke, providing you have an exit strategy, those are not skill dependent? It's basically playing a gunboat DD without the stealth ( well Minotaur and Leander... and Fiji.. ) while being big and having a citadel and no armor to speak off. -

You don't need to 'test' to understand how a concept is broken. WG asking us to 'test' it is just an excuse, throwing up smoke, since you don't even know which enemy has which perks so anything you 'test' and feed back will get dismissed based on 'insufficient data'. -
You still need to do the proper lead and elevation, it's nowhere close to being an. 'Aim right here' dot aka aim assist And you already have all the information these mods give you, the mods presents it in a different manner. How about you install them and show us how you suddenly land all those citadels at Max range ;)

I don't really think the game should resolve around bad players, WG would have to keep dumbing the game down more and more to suit their idea of 'fun and engaging' gameplay mechanics and they will lose out on the actually good players who like some more depth to their games. I actually suspect the game will go down sooner when the good players start leaving then the bad, sure WG will profit in the beginning because bad players need to spend more money on premium time and premium ships but once the good players leave, WoWs will be laughable as an 'e-sport' and will loose one of it's biggest marketing area's. -

My shima stats are from after they changed the 20km torps but mostly from before the last changes ( which made the guns 'better' ). But imo, 8km F3's are way to situational, and with a CV or some radar cruisers in game it means you're screwed. 20km is useless. So it's only one universally applyable option, and then it get's beaten by Gearing torps which have more range for lower detection range, which are also fast and while they deal less dmg the range just makes them easier/more comfortable to use. It's also completely unhistorical, IJN had the best long range torps in the war, with the LOWEST actual detection. Makes me very sad.. -

Ramming as last resort, when you're going down anyway... sure. That has happened to me maybe 5 times or something in my 4k games, not really sure. Making it a mission -> WG promoting bad play I would really like to post an image related to Vodka, a Russian tank commander from GuP and WG, but I won't. -

So game breaking WG has put it in the official modpack Yes, I feel it's not fair for people who do not know about it, as WG's reason for not including a lot of the mods from their modpack into the vanilla game is because it can offer an information overload, as well as putting a higher demand on system resources. But they could at least promote / link / include the modpack installer from the game launcher, making sure everyone is aware of those mods and has equal opportunity to use them. But as long as everyone has access to them, and as long as WG is distributing them under their own name, it's hardly possible to describe them as game breaking. RPF is game breaking, these mods are not. For most people they would not offer any additional value. I can play vanilla and get the same results, the only mod I really use a lot and sometimes depend on for situational awareness is ship names on minimap. Which btw, was a mod for WoT to... until WG put it in the standard client. That's part of WG's development cycle, offer UI enhancements which are not game breaking through mods and integrate those witch they feel are in greatest demand and which don't impact on resources to much. edit: Comparing these mods with an aim helper is beyond pathetic though, aim helper just removes the largest bit of initial skill you need to have to actually do damage in this game.

But, that would actually be GOOD for the game EU has a severe BB overpopulation atm, mainly around tier 8 though if I read the latest server stats correctly. -

I would expect you to be able to read, since you can also post on this forum. So maybe next time try to actually inform yourself before making statements? Don't forget that bow and stern fires shouldn't even be counted as no one would shoot bow or stern sections with HE as you won't deal HE damage and having to rely on the odd fire chance is usually not worth it in comparison with dealing damage to weak armored superstructure. So another diaper for the BBabies. But it's ok, it's not going to kill the game right away, it will just speed up the dying process. RPF on the other hand, should be exterminated like the terminal disease it is. -
WASD.exe and minimap.cmd are actually the most important haxpacks I installed for this game

I wasn't singling you out for any personal reason other then you calling it a borderline cheat which it clearly is not. Your morals don't decide what is a cheat or not, WG does as they are the creator of the game and have chosen to include it in the official modpack. You can say you THINK it's borderline cheating, that's different then claiming it IS borderline cheating. Acceleration? You're talking about the 'traffic light mod' I guess? The one which shows if a ship is going forwards, backwards or is stopped? Because 'Alt_Hud' does not show acceleration. Btw minimap shows all this already anyway, just a lot less 'convenient'. The minimap mod with ship names and direction lines would then actually be more game breaking as you would not have this information at all without the mod ( ship names of ships outside your own rendering range ), and the directional line gives exactly the same as 'Alt_Hud' namely bearing and turn indicator.

Sure blame it on the players... Guess I'm such a baddie as well Where are your Yugumo stats? I can see Shima but not seeing Yuguma at all makes me dismiss those results because they were done before WG slaughtered the torps on Shima? édit: -> your 90 day IJN DD games, nothing above tier 8......... -
That would be to late for players not playing in those tournaments but having their whole fun ruined in randoms because WG likes catering to the bad/terrible players. Because those players pay more money.
