    Also German guns have caliber / 4 right, as opposed to caliber / 6. Seems WG feels this formula is arbitrary and can be used for balance reasons. And since PN's are hardly complete, changes to these values can go unnoticed over time.

    But isn't this what you actually balance a game on? People who know what they are doing? And not joe average potato? If you don't balance around the good people, you will make them overperform even more.

    Yeah that was clear already 12 is a full team, it wouldn't be brutal to cruisers as they wouldn't be in the team BB's are not the easiest class to do well in, they are the most forgiving class for terrible players. If you want to do really well, you still need skill even in a BB.

    FdG = H39, FdG with fictional guns is H41, Curry would indeed be H42 I don't think 4x2 would have worked with higher rof as the higher rof would only give higher theoretical dpm which you wouldn't always be able to utilize. More historical != practical in game.

    I will ofc concede there are other builds which are viable, but if you want to ruin enemy IJN dd's the RDF + CE built is quite capable of that. Even if it makes pretty heavy compromises in other aspects. The thing is: do USN DD's need a buff in hunting IJN DD's? I don't think they do.

    GK = H41 ( well H39 with armament plans found in a secret Russian archive somewhere, of a German designed triple turret meant for their own navy ).

    I been lucky and have avoided the mode a lot even in playing my high tiers, but the fort accuracy does seem a bit overdone in relation with human players. But hey the AI in PvE, while being terrible at the actual game, can also aim pretty okish

    So you prefer getting lolpen citadeleted through the nose/but while having to stay around max range to ensure it's not a devastating strike? Meh ok, I don't mind it that much when it's one BB, at max range I can kite and dodge most of the damage from one BB shooting me. When it's more then one and they have brains, cruisers are just death meat. And with the BB heavy meta this is exactly what happens. That's why even Flamu is not using range mods on all his cruisers and no more reload mod, since the meta due to BB abundance has become so static it's all about long range HE spamming as that is the only way to survive long enough to do meaningful damage over time.

    You mean a lot of players take their BB's and go snipe with them on the other side of the map away from their team and then expect to not get punished by a carrier for making a basic mistake? If so then yes, carriers are still strong in punishing bad terrible play. edit: also, mid/low tier BB's have quit weak AAA on their own, and not many cruisers are being played with AAA spec in mind so CV's can get decent results there to.

    fire proof increments... Read my signature you will figure it out I guess But yes, dropping it down from a 4 point skill would make a lot of sense to me. Frankly, I still haven't gotten any of my current captains up the the famous 3x4 built ( AFT DE SE ) as I'm stuck with AFT + DE atm. Which indicates how useful in comparison the SE skill is right now.

    Yup I saw it just now, but... well with this thread.. I mean, he didn't say he wanted to be safe from CV's he just wanted to shoot down something before they dropped and I kinda feel he's right. It's the RNG in the AAA mechanics, and I can understand his POV in that regard. FdG with manual AAA ect ect should shoot down something at least. He would still probably die, but he would feel a bit better maybe

    In PvE then I hope...... Unguided rockets ( I know I know, rockets are by definition unguided or they are missiles but I wanted to emphasize it anyway ) for fighters to strafe ships.. Either that or depth charges to fight AI controlled submarines.

    Armor buff for BB's Armor buff for DD's -> recipe for taking full AP damage ;) I do think 400hp per tier is not enough to put it at 4 points, the other 4 point skill are more powerful.

    Oww you mean the DE which is also nerved? But let's not continue on this topic, it's not a wanted change imo but it wouldn't impact the game much as bad BB's will still repair single fires immediately. RDF has to go, all the rest is rather MEH icba to really care at this time.
