  1. Are there any figures from the accuracy of dive bombers? I know for main gun's realistic hit ratio could be as low as 3% and that's scaled by a magnitude of 10 in game..

Fecking up player retention by doing nothing but seal clubbing in low tier ships with 19 point commander.... maybe it would work, but would it be ' fun' And this is coming from someone who at least some of the real competitive players think is a pro seal clubber ( Impregnated anyone lately ). Maybe it's a good solution though, as NOTHING will change their minds unless they see their income going down the drain and making sure new players don't keep playing sounds like the best way to do it. Sadly tier 1-4 generally have smaller maps so you can't really abuse all the captain skills that much, but tier 5... Kamikaze + Gremmy are in my port. But I really don't want to play like that all the time
  3. Will never happen. Why you ask, well because we don't have a clue what ' statistics ' they used. My take: it's the statistics off crying BB's who don't like it when they are all alone against an enemy BB because they potato'd to hard prior ( paying attention to minimap, and not refusing to tank for team / do something meaningful except back of the pack sniping and then.. ...when their team is dead and a lone dd is capable of bullying them around ( as it SHOULD BE ). Don't need to mod anything then, as even the unmodded graphics in a division should be enough for rough triangulation ( just takes some practise ). Also, it's not as easy as it sounds: you need to all be picking up the same enemy AND still be far enough from each other to get different bearings. Aka will only be possible in late game.

    How about not playing at all Would give a much clearer signal then only playing BB's and CV's ( because let's face it, more BB's seem to be exactly what WG wants ). I seriously regret spending both money and time into this, I'm utterly disgusted with how much influence community feedback has ( including ST, PT, forum and external media/forums ). Utterly disgusted.

No they wanted to ignore more feedback so they could spoil us even more I hope they enjoy the fruit of their labour and I welcome them about RMS Titanic as this tittle is follow WoWp real soon... edit: Ofc, they had to spoil us with something in order for some people who just don't understand the impact ( or who only benefit from it ) of this atrocious crutch of a situational awareness and map tactics ' replacement '.

    Yup PN's are out, RDF is in the live client after the patch. Atlantic Fleet here I come. I might even play some WT or something. When WG comes to it's senses I will be back but I won't give them more money until they have proven themselves over a longer period to not mess up their own game.

    The problem is partly that sometimes listening to advice is a bad thing. I seriously seen 42% win rate Shima's start the game with pinging all over the map and telling people what they should go do In CBT you knew most people ( in comparison with current playerbase ) and you generally knew the good and above players so if they gave advice you knew it made sense.

    I did not mean full HE fire chance on penetrations, but some low chance of fires due to the very large blast charge would still fit with reality? The comment about citadeling a cruiser and starting a fire with the same shell was a bit tongue in cheek ( in response to a certain well known "HE + FIRES + SMOKE kills this game, nerf it nerf it now and play Kirov with 15% win rate" person ).

    Last game ( just ended ) Division B Amagi -> 45% account wr, 30% wr in Amagi NCal -> 45% account wr, 43% on Ncal ~ top tier BB division spend entire game ' sniping ' with a spotter plane Takao -> 46% account wr, 35% on Takao Nagato -> 44% account wr, 45% in Nagato Fubuki -> 44% account wr, 37% on Fubuki Ranger -> 44% account wr, 48% on Ranger Ok, enemy had a Hiryu with 42% account wr and 41% on Hiryu as well... I should really stop having wows-stats on my laptop while playing ( network shared game so it can track the battles through the replays ).
  16. I did mean relative amount of RNG, so if you get 3 to 4 strikes you should have a total RNG factor which is the same as with an BB shooting it's guns for that entire duration.. or close at least

    I had a blast playing her on PT, even with 17mm of pen, ifhe utterly wrecks DD you previously couldn't touch. Bow on BB's are harder though due to less fire chance but a broadside BB should only get HE spammed until he burn before you switch to AP for those glorious superstructure pens

    The actual ' knows best ' count is actually pretty steady, but the Dunning-Kruger effect is strong in this community Jedi minds tricks If that is what they are used to doing themselves, then Dunning-Kruger tells us that is the correct way to play. This is btw why I get the most salty, people with no map knowledge, no tactical insight in game mode's, and they don't listen to people with more experience. I was exactly like them, I was an utter scrub, I knew nothing. But I learned from listening to people who were better, by following leads and by supporting those good players. That is how you learn / improve. But current influx, and also some of the ' old guard ' which didn't give a damn about their performance and just wanted to see their guns go ' boom ', just don't listen

    The issue isn't HE is to powerful, it's the static gameplay which causes fight to be on longer range. Except Moskva which can citadel cruisers at max range ( and if you're flat enough German AP can still work at those ranges to ), HE is the only reliable damage source. And imho, the static gameplay isn't due to ' HE spam ' , ' invisi fire ' or smokescreens, we had those in CBT and the gameplay was not like it is now. It is the influx of players who think long range HE spam is the only way to play the game + the new BB players who think range is their friend and not their enemy. AP is absolutely murderous when you actually are in range to use it properly. But in a cruiser, getting into that range in most games is suicide because the rest of the team won't follow you in. Late game the gameplay is much less HE centric ( in CA vs CA gameplay, also ofc dependent on which particular ships ) because you can actually get into decent engagement range to make AP more dependable. I would think USN DD's would actually benefit the most? Depending on how widespread the usage of this ' skill ' goes.. in every joe bob in his cruiser and battleship takes it usn can still smoke spam that glorious HE and burn things .... I am waiting for that to happen, and then to read a comment from a CM that they listened to the feedback of the community and citing that guy as ' legitimate source '

I'm not a big fan of RNGesus, much of the attraction of WoWs is no rng in penetration formula ( there is a very small rng factor in the normalization iirc, but this is really really insignificant ) or in the dmg formula ( well 0 dmg hits.... but that's a bug right ). BB's are sometimes also annoying to play right, perfectly broadsiding cruiser at 10km -> 6 over penetrations If AP bombs are on the same levels as BB ap shells in ' randomness ' it should be acceptable ( though at times frustrating ).

    I only called someone that after he ignored advice which would have won us the game, if he had not been given advice he had the excuse of ignorance. Also as I said I didn't read the example matches so I wasn't addressing your gameplay in those matches, just the comment that since you got more XP you played well. Maybe I should rephrase, you DID play well, as generally XP doesn't fall off trees But in general, I can get a nice XP boost by getting a cap or two at the start of the game and then the rest of it do things which would cause my team to loose ( laying a bad smoke screen which removes vision on enemy team when my team is spotted by planes... yeah, been there done that ) that's what I was trying to say. Don't use the XP list as a stand alone indicator ( well getting >2k base xp on a loss with the next guy getting <1k then it would be hard pressed to not call it a good game ). Anyway, there are more bad players, and more players which just make mistakes. In any MMO you got people who always ' know better ' and sadly this is a WG game so it's been going downhill ever since CBT. Chat was actually pleasant then mostly. And even now, I might be salty at times but if I get a good interaction with someone in game that immediately brings a smile on my face. Couple of games back allied Chappy, me in Sims, I tell him to follow me so I can smoke him around the island so we could contest cap, he first didn't react and I lied down a perfect smoke screen for him anyway. Once he saw my smoke screen he eventually came and he did very well finishing off a DD and a Fiji iirc.. and yes, when he didn't react I did use a term which isn't complimentary. But after that one smoke I kept telling him my smoke reload counter and we worked quite well together for awhile and it really did feel good. The star of the match was a Fletcher in my team which got kraken though, I got I think one kill but I came second on that ' not so telling ' xp list and I had only one kill ( but Sims has insane XP modifier ). Chat is in interactive medium. If the gameplay is bad, chat is also bad, it's only natural. Chat isn't there just to sit in a circle and sing ' kumbaya my friend kumbaya ' And when gameplay is good, chat follows suit ( well except the enemies, but hey insults from an enemy are like compliments right

    MrConway posted on forum that in severe cases on unsportsmanship conduct ( which includes team damage / team kills ) support would deal with the ticket. I would have to spend time looking for the post but I am 100% sure he stated as such on this very own forum. Community Managers can not make those claims and then have support tell us off when we bring those cases to their attention
