There are four classes in the game, there needs to be a synergy between them or they should just be removed ( like you said you would like, World of Battleships would be ' better ' right? ).

Ofc I can adapt and I am sure it wouldn't hurt my performance. I would just switch to USN DD's, and my cruiser gameplay wouldn't even be affected much if at all. But saying ' the game is fine ' is negating the chain of changes leading up to this latest debacle of WallHack. The other changes, flattening the captain perks and making it wider, is actually a great change imo. So yes, there are positive things. The coming addition of new ship lines is also good, I would like to be able to play more different ships. But I don't want to keep having to adapt to people who want more diapers because they haven't been potty trained properly. That is what really makes me feel I should not hang around to see where it ends, as I fear it will end up like WoWp.

You're still seeing it as a stand alone issue when for me it's like that poetic last drop which makes the bucket overflow And it's not even the WallHack itself, it's the reasoning they give for it. It's nonsensical, cruisers don't need wallhack to deal with DD's, they need fewer BB's which all focus them when they want to play aggressive. Destroyers which are meant to hunt other destroyers ( read: USN dd's hunting IJN dd's ) is also nonsensical as Fletcher and Gearing are already overperforming in comparison ( and WG dares to blame this on IJN having a higher skill requirement and call that ' fine ' ). The game has been dumbed down more and more over time, emphasis on teamwork has been lowered and lowered to suit the influx of casual players ( and to get a better retention since most casuals don't want to learn the ' complicated concepts ' involved with teamwork ). Instead of trying to educate the new players so they can play the game as was intended they are changing the game to suit them. And that will not end well. It makes me feel like this -> edit: and then I even forgot to mention that other reason WG gave -> because some people did not like late game scenarios where they were left against ships with better concealment. That is ' WG talk ' for -> the BBabies cried so loud about late game scenarios where they let their team die and were left alone, so we had to give them something which they could use as diaper.

Nooooo... you're missing the point BB's in CBT focused the other BB's who were within 5km or so off their support cruisers, because BB's are hard to kill and cruisers not but if they focused the cruisers when the BB's were also closing in the BB they ignored would inflict massive damage on them or their team. Taking out the BB was the main objective, and BB's knew it and it was fine to get focused as they were keeping the cruisers around them alive and if they went down but did enough damage and soaked up enough damage as well their team could take care of the leftovers. But I will also admit that at that time even cruisers could angle a lot better against BB shells, there were a lot less lolpens. Over time mentality changed due to influx of new players and because WG adjusted mechanics to suit playerbase growth instead of trying to teach playerbase on how to play with the existing mechanics we're were we are at now

I wish I could have gone to, Even though I would really want to visit Battleship Cove so I could see a Gearing and a SoDak in one go.. To bad UK didn't preserve a single battleship, but they had so much debt they needed to sell them all for scrap Would also mean I finally got to go visit the Divided United States Of Trump Murica which is something I would like to do sometime Blys is my favourite DD in the game, pictures of her would always be appreciated

We had fewer lines then, and generally MM looked a lot better in class distribution due to that ( not having Tirpitz in premium shop also helped ). Also, everyone in CBT ( or well, most ) actually cared about learning how to play.

PSA: 0.6.0 patch bug - DO NOT leave captains in premium ships tonight
mtm78 replied to ilhilh's topic in General Discussion
You need to start the retraining on the new ship, just select the free retraining option and when patch hit the retraining will instantly be finished. -
Not having an NA account but if the moderation is like I been told a lot of those threads you expected to see are in the graveyard And ' this is fine ' yeah maybe if you think it's a singular incident and it isn't ( see my previous post ).

BB's don't need nerfs, there is nothing really wrong with them ( well CV players I know do say in some cases the AAA buffs they been getting are a bit to much but I can't comment on that ). It's only the class interaction which should be there isn't there when there are to many of a single class per game. This applies to DD's as well. And no Steviln, it does NOT apply to cruisers as they are intended to be the jack of all trades. Survivability isn't as much an issue unless there are to many BB's per game either, imo. I don't want buffs to cruisers, I can live with the shorter torpedo ranges on IJN IF WG finally nerfs them on USN top tier as well, and I don't think battleships are to strong either. It's only the abundance of classes in a game which hurts the meta. ^^ this mostly yes. See he video I posted above from a recent game from Flamu on NA. See the BB positioning. That's the issue. German BB's sniping
-
+ incendiary AP shells!
-
He isn't asking for nerfs
-
Ow please just cut out the bull ok? BB cry about cruisers not doing their job is one of the reasons WG added WallHack now go try your cheap one liners somewhere else.
-
Imperator Nikolai I isn't an issue since there aren't so many of them
-
Yes please, do that and they can remove WallHack since cruisers can actually do their job again.

Patch 0.6.0 Patch Notes - RPF is still a thing
mtm78 replied to StuntMan0369's topic in General Discussion
Stahp spoiling us WG no seriously stahp spoiling us with these crutches and diapers for issues which aren't even related. BB;s whine about cruisers not doing ' their job' when it's THEM, the overabundance of the BBabies in each battle, which make it impossible to play cruisers aggressively. Fixing that would mean longevity for your game, not WallHack -
Patch 0.6.0 Patch Notes - RPF is still a thing

WG claimed PT feedback on WallHack was overwhelmingly positive.. this does look quite the opposite from that -
Wasn't my intention either, so yes please There are no positive sides to RDF is will only mess up inter nation DD balance even more, particularly in favor of USN DD's and in detriment of IJN DD's ( and yes, I might seem not really impartial as I am an IJN main ). But, IJN relies the most on stealth to be able to get decent damage and have a good impact on a battle. USN is first and foremost a counter to IJN as they always were but it was kind of balanced in that IJN had the concealment advantage. This advantage will now be worth a whole lot less. WG stated it was to help DD's hunt other DD's, well top tier USN DD's already outperform top tier IJN DD's by quite a margin so this doesn't really sound that reasonable. Then WG says it's to help with cruisers to hunt destroyers.. I am a cruiser main, 40%+ of my games are cruiser ( BB's and DD's are played almost equally ) and I can tell you from my own experience that WG is not even playing their own game. The reason cruisers can't play as aggressive as we could in CBT for instance, is the clear abundance of battleships per game. You simply can not push up with your allied DD's and get focused by multiple enemy battleships and still expect to have a good game, unless you're in a division which supports you with smokescreen's. Then WG also said it's to help in ' situations where a ship has to fight another ship with better concealment '. This translates to the BBabies ( see signature ) who whine about being BBadies and ending up alone against something which they can't see. If they end up in situations like that it's because they shouldn't have sniped from the back in the first place, their HP armor and alpha damage are not intended to be used as snipers. In CBT ( ow boy I must sound like a broken record... ) BB's would find some escorting cruisers and be the spearpoint of an attack, with the CV and DD's doing the screening and spotting. It's this whole synergy off class interactions which has gone down the drain, starting from OBT, and WG has been trying to balance it with the wrong things. Instead of forcing people to play the game as it was intended, they are changing the game to suit the casual players, hoping this will increase playerbase growth. But dumbing down games to make them simpler and thus appeal to new players works against you in the long run.

Patch 0.6.0 Patch Notes - RPF is still a thing
mtm78 replied to StuntMan0369's topic in General Discussion
Wait, should this indicate that the skills are good? When 70% + says they are detrimental to gameplay? Huh can someone explain this to me please? -
I hear Bogatyr is stronk in protecting mighty Nikolai from pesky DD's as well. And Clemson ... seems people think Clemson is stronk stetpedding tonk!
-
Tier 4 MAX, Clubbing out of protected MM range is not productive at all.

PSA: 0.6.0 patch bug - DO NOT leave captains in premium ships tonight
mtm78 replied to ilhilh's topic in General Discussion
I logged in today to unlock Donskoi and put chappy captain on her, and to put all my captains in the correct ships + sold a whole bunch of ships I don't play anyway ( like mid tier IJN except a few ) and dismissed all those useless zero - three point captains I had still in reserve. Ow and I bought a Clemson and a Langly for the clubbing sessions when I get tired of Imperator / Yubari. Didn't play a single game, don't feel like playing this game anymore at all.atm, it just makes me feel disgusted with how community feedback is handled. But low tier clubbing might change their mind so I will be playing tier 4 exclusively between now and the 22nd and if nothing seems to be changing by then, even with the amount of money and time and effort into actually learning how to play this game, I will uninstall and move on. -
Irrelevant, clubbing tier 7 will have no impact on player retention at all
-
Put the captains in the ships you want them in and start the free retraining. When patch hits, retraining will finish automatically. edit: Because if WG doesn't listen to feedback, they will surely listen to lower player retention because new players don't like meeting us constantly each time they press battle. So this whole RPF thing being put in the game to help the minimap impaired baddies / crutch for tbe BBadies / diapers for the BBabies will just blow up in their own face.

Posting this thread after ignoring all the previous feedback is taking the piss out on the entire community.
