WR is everything, it's the goal of the game is it not. WTR is 50% damage, 25% win rate and 25% something else ( k/d? plane kills? idk.. ). It's explained on the page but icba to go and copy paste it now.

I agree! Sure, it can't fix people having a mind of their own, but rewarding doing damage in relation to % of HP taken should promote what the OP wants I think.

You would have gotten it automatically if you were on forum during Beta ( if you had posts during beta your tag would have been automatically adjusted by the forum software ). If you were in beta but never posted, this wouldn't happen and you would end up like you did now. ps: like the pics

I don't like it, but me not performing on the same level as better players who do like it doesn't mean I can't tell if the ship has an unbalanced consumable stack If my performance would be indicative of OP ships, there are some ships like Karlsruhe which would need to be nerved ( and I played that before the buffs ), just as my pre buff Furutaka performance would suddenly mean those buffs weren't needed? Personal performance should never be your only source on which you base ship balance Dominico ( not your own, not any other single person ). And having a channel doesn't make anyone correct. But having a channel and showing on that channel how 'balanced' a ship is does to quite a substantial degree ( taking into account he is not an average player so most ships he plays will perform significantly better then they would in the hands of others ). Anyway, we're not even that far off topic, OP's complaints about smoke are comparable with the Belfast debate. Both are about opinions, either about game mechanics or ship balance, and how those opinions should always preferably be based on more then a personal viewpoint

This could be so good for community exposure if managed better. I can understand WG thinks that having all viewers in one channel gives them the biggest 'numbers' to brag about but it's really not attractive. Especially since the WG NA account had so bad quality they had to stop and let iChase take over the hosting ( kudo's to iChase for that ). Let everyone who wants to stream do so from their own perspective but if you want to have some central chat just tell people to stream with disabled chat and set up a discord server for people to chat in ( discord can handle 2k people in one server? ). You can even set up a webpage which can show thumbnail from every player perhaps, would be so much fun if you could listen in real time and switch from player to player. If that's not possible, make the matches 11v11 and add a caster to both teams like the tournaments are casted, and get people to cast them with some experience. But MOSTLY... make sure all participants actually have a rulebook and that it's same for everyone involved. Braincage was properly pissed at the WG employee telling him to stop streaming and I can only give him a BIG thumbsup for saying his piece about how this was organized. You can not tell people it's ok to stream it, and then during the event to tell them to shut it down. This event really should have had better preparation. And then I'm not even talking about how the moderators in the channel banned me from pointing out how NA CC's were streaming so EU CC's should be allowed to as well, AFTER I pointed it out 3 times before that without getting any response at all. All they had to do was communicate that they were working on the 'issue' ( even though demanding how NA CC's had to stop streaming immediately is not what I had in mind.... ). Guess it wasn't appreciated that people were confused on how NA seemingly had different rules during this event then EU.

And we already know you like your main ship to stay as is, so maybe stop trying to tell people Belfast is not OP? And Jiji is already really strong, now add IFHE and radar. Go watch some flamu, tell me how he doesn't know what he is talking about. Or the people from TTT you been arguing with in the other thread how Belfast is balanced

USN DD in general do most of their damage to other DD's, XP is proportional to percentage damage done. If you happen to have a Sims, you will be getting XP for having bought a Sims ;) No really, Sims internal XP modifier is insanely high, you will get much more base xp with a Sims then with any other tier 7 DD doing the exact same things.

I point out on the official channel that EU was told they could not stream but NA was streaming their own perspective, and they BAN me from the channel and then go force their NA contributors to stop streaming because what they TOLD THEM IN ADVANCE was actually not true ( NA was told they COULD stream it themselves ). GG WG GG. Really man, another failed community effort. How hard is it to have the rules clear for CC's from both regions involved prior to the event? The King of the Sea tournaments are more professional, and they aren't hosted on the official WG channel. And those are run by volunteers only, no one is an employee there who get's paid. The administrators and adjudicators are all community members and they still do a better job imho then what was displayed there. I get this was not a WG organized event but by ShipComrade, but it is hosted on the official WG twitch channel so some quality assurance would be appreciated.

But Zao shoots HE at range anyway, Moskva has bigger guns, so it's Hindenburg which would have the biggest benefit from better normalization on the AP shells. Edit: just to add, I know the shells are lighter but when flat on I citadelled cruisers from 20km with Hindenburg so I am not asking for higher pen it's fine. But if they angle even a tiny bit the effective armor increases and the lower penetration hurts. having better normalization would fix this even without buffing base penetration ( giving it higher shell weight for instance ). Unless I'm wrong?

Isn't normalization the only real issue with Hind/Roon AP shells? The pen when flat on seems pretty ok to me, it's the fact that if they even angle a tiny bit you suddenly don't pen anything.

Just, remember the reason it punches up well is because of the guns, it has bad armor even a Graf Spee can hurt you a lot! So positioning really seems to be key. Flamu said he would recommend but only if you're a good enough player, as a bad player will not like the ship due to the flimsy armor.

Well Zao could use better HE and higher fire chance. Des Moines needs higher ROF. Minotaur needs better concealment and smoke + radar ofc. Moskva needs the same concealment as Zao ( while firing ). Hindenburg needs the same AP normalization as Minotaur.
