Guys you're all forgetting something here. When it was released it was the ONLY tier IV BB which could actually meet tier VI, all the other tier IV BB's already had protected matchmaking. This was one of the ships balancing points. Now that every tier IV ( including Imperator Nicolai I ) has protected matchmaking, this balancing point is removed, making the already overperforming ship even more overperforming. There is a reason this ship has a 60% average win rate, and it's NOT the quality of the players ( alone.. most people who have it are 'oldtimers' and percentually oldtimers should be better then newer players due to more experience.. ). So, WG actually would have a case if they wanted to change either the balancing factor ( +2 matchmaking ) and if not, change another balancing factor ( in the ship's performance ). I rather see the old +2 mm back, then have them change something on the ship herself to make her balanced to fit inside the protected matchmaking. -
if it crashes just use the 'safe launch' option to get back into the game asap. And, well I had two crashes in the last week, both while loading a battle. But then I also had isp issues so I can't be 100% sure of the cause. And yes, Aslain usually does a good job of removing problematic mods until they are fixed. It might help him if you posted your installed mods in his topic together with the log file. Also... ^^^^

I have not played my imperator much if at all since they removed -1+2 MM from it and yet I still have 14% higher win rate in mine then you do in yours. Not that you're bad, you're doing 60% which for the ship is dead bang average according to public server stats. Maybe you want a higher win rate playing against easier opponents, nothing wrong with that. But I actually LIKE the challenge of beating +2 BB's with Stronk No-Sovjet-Bias Impregnator. Sure, you suffer against DD's, with glacial turret traverse and 35s reload. But that is why you need to play smart and position yourself so there are team mates between you and enemy DD's ( as they should.. ). The same goes for gun range vs concealment. You always need to be in a pushing flank when up tiered as your DD's / cruisers ahead of you will be pushing away the DD's. You do have CE on the ship don't you... It's all down to player skill, these differences in opinion if you'd ask me. -

The most fun I ever had with Impregnator is when I was herashing Fuso's across an entire map while they kept retreating because this darn tier IV Stronk Rusky BB was just hunting them down relentlessly. New Mexico is a tougher cookie though. But it was more fun. 1. Nice to finally meet someone who is a bigger sealclubber then me, I only have 300 or so battles in Imperator and you 1100 2. You do realize your concealment is less then your gun range to? -
Do it. See if it improves your performance / statistics and then come back and show us how camping in the back wins you more games. hint: it won't. WG has said that this year they will add configurable hotkeys.

Well that would be really short notice to powergrind for the Uda before the patch, so for me it only matters if I keep ships moved to different line and which ships in that line will be automatically unlocked due to it. So I can buy / put correct captain in the DD's I will be playing after the patch. Other then that, I'm just hoping you're right and we keep the ships being moved uptier

I know a lot of players who will disagree esp. for ranked where the game is won by the side which kills the enemy DD's asap. And having concealment at the same range as your radar seems to be important. you don't seem to be a good player who is capable of playing her to her strengths? What is the point of a radar cruiser with smoke if you play her wrong ( thinking concealment is not important in ranked meta )? I always fall for this, especially if I played Fiji er Edinburgh before it as the difference is certainly there and not trivial at best! Because they know how influential a well played OPFast is.

I just grinded to Trashcan in the hope I will keep it moved to tier 9, and Kiev as the new tier 8 and Udeloi as well. I mean, come on WG give your loyal customers a break here

How did they handle it with IJN again? To lazy to look for patch notes, and I had the whole line researched already so I didn't really pay much attention other then rebuying some and taking advantage of the free captain retraining.

What are we talking about? Cruisers? Then yes, at 15km if you see the BB shooting you should have ample time to dodge... otherwise not so much. And it's a LOT more skill demanding to track a bunch of BB's which might be targeting you ( less so with priority target nowadays though.. I could say Incoming fire alert as well but I never use that skill ), then it is to watch the minimap. Planes are usually long spotted before they are near a BB, and BB's while having slower rudder shift have at least equal time to initiate a turn. If it's BB's, well again if you're at long range even with the slower rudder and acceleration/deceleration you can attempt to dodge, but you at least has the armor to negate most of the damage anyway ( unless you're caught broadside and well that's just a misplay ). Ow that Arkansas without AA? I seem to have a 70%+ wr in it regardless. Sure, some games a hosho tries to drop me whole game but I can usually dodge most incoming damage, and I'm tying up that CV so he can't damage my team. I think you chose the wrong example. And Bismarck.... you serious? No citadel to speak off, godlike secondaries and hydro on a BB, can it please have a weakness in that it's AAA is less strong then a North Carolina? It is the best performing tier 8 BB afaik....

Yes. Belfast needs a dedicated seal clubber captain, it's one of the reasons I also don't play her much. You need CE + IFHE + DE + fire flags to keep up fire potential vs BB's + JOAT ideally I guess. Belfast is also more skill demanding, just because it has more options ( consumables and ammo ) and making it shine requires making optimal use of it. And yes Belfast's should be focused over other ships because it has radar. Killing radar cruisers in a smoke meta is kind of more important then a killing a Fiji

I sold all my tanks not long ago, only keeping the one's I liked playing. That gave me quite a lot off credits... which are now all gone and I'm actually short on credits again. Started playing tanks again couple of days back, and I kinda enjoyed it... the new graphics are much nicer, fps is higher and more stable for me, new maps I had not played on, and they buffed my Maus <3 Only bad thing was, well like my last game today, two tanks shooting each other up ( friendlies on my team ) not one turns pink while they did 2/3 or even 3/4 of each others hp. And ofc, I also had an E100 who was 'rushing valy' so that didn't help. Those games remind me of why I love WoWs community over WoT. Sure, you sometimes get some guy just being a tool ( just like on forums... ) but in WoT it was every damn session you at least saw one or if 'lucky' a few. Thank god WoT HT drivers aren't all coming to drive the BB's here.... -

WG said they are looking into it, also into the issues with rebinding key configuration.. If you want to try it manually, the file is preferences.xml ( make a backup ofc ).

True, but those with QWERTY who remap should know from the remapping that WASD was initially used. Which leaves us with the French and their AZERTY, but those are negligible..

Imagine a Kuma in a tier X. yolo rush usually ended in seconds. Wanted Kita to be effective, you needed a DD to smoke you into range. Which you indeed said, but yeah... teamwork in WoWs isn't THAT common ;) -
Yesterday.. I torped two ships with one salvo... first cruiser ate two torps evaded the rest. More then 15s later I get another 3 hits on a BB... so those torps were spotted for at least 15 seconds and he still wasn't able to evade. I said in chat: 'WASD hax pack not found?'. Reply: 'What is WASD?' Someone in my team asked him: 'You steer your ship with WASD... you DO move your ship don't you?'. No more replies were given from that point
