That is true, if not spotted the DD can always pay more attention to his surroundings ( as in: he should be doing that ). I was thinking about situations were I was actively engaged and dealing with enemy attention, which should take up more of my attention then those 'allies' behind me Still I don't think adding a way to 'warn' people in front is good for the game, to many plebs you know.. -

Because... People might start thinking it is safe or even 'desirable' to torp from second line. This is a perfect example. If I am in front of you I should NOT have to look behind me if some ........ is launching torps from there. I am the one taking risks, I am the one in front, if you want to launch torps you either do so while they can NEVER hit me no matter what I do, or you accept you're a ....... Restricting movement from those in front of you is a sign of potato syndrome. -

Ofc I would rather run into idiotic second line torps then die to enemy for having to slow down or show broadside, if I'm going to die due to some idiot firing torps from behind I might as well die directly to some idiot firing torps from behind. -

If you feel you have to play a defensive role, take a gunboat DD or a cruiser. Don't do it in a BB, like I said before you should be leading the lemmings ensuring they don't stop pusing and trying to cap the enemy base asap while you ping the map for one of your DD's or cruisers to go back and defend. They might not do it, you might lose, but it wouldn't be your fault. While if you 'defend base' in your BB..... you're going to get a LOT of salty people and for a good reason.

No, it's not. Is wrong. Sorry, I don't get the idea behind the thread, you come to whine about people getting salty for you using your BB in the wrong way or to LEARN something. If the first, YAWN thx for proving the stereotype BBaby really exists. If the second, you been given advice, USE IT. I can see why you think that.

Look, defending alone in a BB vs enemy DD's is never a smart thing anyway, if your team lemmings the best approach is to make sure they keep pushing aka lead the charge while pinging the map and hopefully getting a DD or CA/CL to go back to keep enemy from capping your base. The worst thing you can do in a BB is 'hang back' to 'defend the base'.

You got a 20% hit ratio on your BB's so you either can't aim or you're 'sniping' so maybe they were right? BB's should TANK damage for their team, without BB's absorbing the dmg they can your team simply is weaker then the enemy team. Stop being a death weight. This is NOT your job, a friendly DD or CRUISER should do this NOT a battleship. Stop making excuses for being a BBaby and use your W key.

Low tier cruisers would already have excellent AAA with hazemeijer L/60 bofors, not something other cruisers at those tiers have already. -

Even moderate HP buff will not compensate for vastly lower damage potential of some ships which rely a lot on the smoke's. -
You're welcome. If you want to learn to play without being worried about burning go watch flamu/izo/crysantos/notser/braincage and so on when they're streaming on twitch.

My memory recalls people claiming this when the game went into OBT, then in release and several times after. It's still going though. There are far bigger issues to fix then 'frustrating matchmaking'... like the overpopulation of BB's screwing up the flow of battles making them static and campy.

With increased ROF ofc, and somewhat buffed AAA, but it would fit in a complete Dutch cruiser line as fictional tier X, like Moskva. You could even put Alaska as a cruiser instead of mid tier BB, I know she would fit their gameplay wise but with tweaking they both could work as high tier cruisers as well and since Alaska is iconic most people I think would enjoy her more as large cruiser on high tier then as mid tier BB. -

flamu has a contest where you can win it, most torpedo hits in a single game, top 5 get's the ship + flags I think.. And it's a FUN ship.

just finished first game ( well game still going but I am death... ) BB wonders around corners -> 12 fishes in the water -> 1 dead BB's. But my team where absolute weekend shitters, camping on the I line in a domination match where enemy had all caps and they kept camping. I tried to cap one zone closest to the shitters, I spot a German DD coming in I ping him constantly but none of the shitters even tried shooting it. I thought f it I am not spending more time with you shitters and I sailed in his torps to be rid of the weekend warrior shitters.

I bought her.. just could not resist. I suck with shima so I don't think I would win the contest, and I think this ship will sometimes be absolutely hilarious. Imagine a cl coming around a corner and meeting 7x2.5k citadel dmg

You still said you want full BB teams, that is what the argument is based on so idk man you're still a BBaby imHo. Funny how you still fail to acknowledge it's WG themselves which have said BB overpopulation is a problem so whatever you think about it is actually quite irrelevant. ps: build BRIDGES not WALLS And thanks for admitting you just like unbalanced games, just you in your DD vs 12 'antelopes' ( bb's aka your "food" ) and no 'lions' ( anything which could actually kill your prefered ship ). At least my argument is aimed at having a fun environment for ALL classes.
