Almost forgot.. we're back into familiar WG territory... Shimakaze / IJN DD's are 100% fine even if server stats and community feedback say something different, because everyone in community who complains is bad and can't adjust to new Shima play style requirements... That evolved into: we acknowledge there is a large discomfort and lacking performance, and we're looking into fixing this -> flooding changes -> look we buffed Shima!

Yeah it's not like meta of DD's ( edit: other then VMF ) resolves around fading back into stealth after dealing with closest target right. Nothing to do with why GE DD's are so hated at all. edit: so yeah, sure, rework concealment system as in PTS but also give all DD's VMF evasion / speed tanking ability please.

People seem to think that SF is THE trick for Gremmy when it's not even close. The trick to Gremmy is having both 130mm stalinum for cruisers AND 8km fishes for BBabies.

Nah it's partly because some of my former ST collegues actually seem to think what he is saying is correct. And ofc, the opinion of those very knowledgeable and skillful and totally unbiased people are more valuable then actual community feedback. Really, some of them are actually arguing BB's aren't being catered to, that torpedo nerfs had nothing to do with the BBaby bingo card / development roadmap. That constant buffs to BBaby AAA isn't catering to the BBabies desire to go on a flank alone and not need something stupid as teamwork to get a decent result. That addition to radar to a BB and now a DD isn't breaking the class balance because the amount of ships are limited ( yeah... so if I have them in MY game I'm just unlucky right... ). That having 40% BBaby population isn't making a mess from their MM, refusing to impose a class limit on them because BBaby players tend to spend money on them and they think we, the players who actually want a balanced game, will just suck it up and continue playing in a game which is constantly evolving in a direction which actually works against those who learned how to work with the game mechanics. That players would actually believe that Stealth Fire was an accident ( it can not be, it's just absolute nonsense to claim it.. the only thing they COULD possible try and get away with is saying they never really thought about the implications it brought with it ). This forum is not here for feedback, they won't ever listen to us anyway and instead just keep trying to turn this game into a point and click adventure for BBabies who don't like learning difficult concepts such as concealment penalties, who never want to have to rely on others in their team to actually counter game mechanics but who rather want a simple game where they can be self sustaining without anyone actually having to work together. The only reason this forum is here is to offer a place for the minority ( where the majority has a hidden profile... ) to sing Haleluja when WG makes the game again a bit easier for them. Mark my words, right after SF is removed, forum will get filled with BBabies crying about smoke being bad for the game. And they will get some baddies/scrubs with 4x% wr at best claiming smoke is a crutch and people should manoeuvre to use AP with their cruisers to knock out BB modules. or suicide rush into close broadsides hoping RNGesus blesses them so they live long enough to do some damage to the big powerfull battleship. Because that's realistic -
Everyone who cries about stealth fire: you do realize this just means more static smoke based gameplay instead Ow wait, BBabies next point of attention -> get rid of shooting from smoke as it's unfair to the precious BB's paint to get scratched by puny 100-130mm gun's.

Yes.... that works very easilly with a Sims with 5xx turn radius. Not as easy with a 730m ( aka cruiser level ) turn ability. Heck some BB's come pretty close to that. But it doesn't matter anyway, it's about 33kts and no speed in turns which are also very wide, you can't evasion tank at all. And going into a cap as first DD in the ship will just lead to trading al lot if not all HP if the enemies push that cap. Its not worth it. I would turn that around, if it would persuade WG to stop #MakingBB'sGreatAgain I would not mind some nerfs to my Gremmy.

Lmao Using the realism card are we? I might be wrong but I think BBaby hit ratio should be around 3%. Still want to play the realism card? I might be wrong, but there are approx 100 DD's for each BB, so DD's should get respawns. Still want to play the realism card? Some DD's don't need SF at all.... like VMF DD's... but those can speed / evasion tank. Removal of SF for my VMF DD's is a buff, the other DD's will be engaged more so I get focused less. -

Playing 80% of games in a BB takes no skill and having to many BBabies per game isn't fun for cruisers. Blys won't suffer so much, most people who have good results with her know when to cqc and when to stay at range. Blys is also fast enough and turns well enough to actually speed tank / evasion tank. Unlike Akizuki for instance.

He said 'ships' which is plural, so perhaps his highest dmg ships of the same class are all cruisers? Even I have comparable dmg in some of my cruisers as in my Yamato. That doesn't mean BB's are UP, it just means I am better at playing cruisers. And it certainly helps that there are many BB's in game if you want a high dmg number, cruisers have lower health pools. I would think that for the dynamics of the game, the games with 3 BB's, 3-4 DD's and rest CA/CL with the occasional CV is a very fun engagement which also necessitates teamplay. The DD's need their CA support to ward of enemy DD and CA's, the BB's will get more focus from the CV if present and require the CA to support to get the best results, and CA's when working together can even saturate an isolated enemy BB. If anything goes really wrong when in this matchup, it's more that the enemy team played better, and not that the enemy 6 BB's just landed a lucky salvo or two on your CA and send you back to port since you can't angle against that many BB's. Having a limited number of BB's makes them individually more important, it will be more fun for everyone imo. In CBT a lot of matches were pretty close to this distribution and I still think that was the best time for this game. -

There have been mods which did the same for quite some time already, WG just adds the most popular mods to the vanilla client over time. I am not 100% sure this is proof they will never look at reworking/nerving smoke. -
I think Ghostbuster_ is experiencing the other side of Dunning-Kruger, if you're part of the elite it is very hard to contemplate how balance changes might affect those who aren't as good. But, even taking that into account, I do think he hasn't actually played it on PT yet, which makes his judgement very theoretical. And in theory, as long as you're good enough, you can make any ship work. I for one actually enjoyed playing Yorck, people would ignore me and shoot at the Myoko's and Schorsch's allowing me to freely HE spam them I don't think Akizuki survivability can withstand the removal of stealth fire. Certainly taking into account the ship depends on DPM not alpha so you're constantly spamming if you want to have an impact. And waiting a full patch before WG realizes it's broken... and even then, they would only do that if they SEE in statistical performance she is terrible, and I for one am not even going to play it on live in that state. Why would I play ships which are broken, just to proof to WG they are broken? I expect them to not be stupid and realize themselves that some ships, even while they claim they weren't designed around sf ( ), actually DO depended on it.

Pre buff Taco was <3, check my stats in her those are all pre buff ( and a bit 'lucky' ofc ). And Colorado is a line ship, you have to grind her to get to the next ship. Akizuki is the end of a sub line. Why would people play her if she isn't balanced? It works as support ship, no doubt. But how often do you think you will only get 45% plebs in your other DD's refusing to go into a cap? I for one do not thing it's a good knife fighter, it's to hard to dodge torpedoes and imho it should never contest caps alone ( certainly at start of a match since the whole enemy team will focus the first DD spotted ). The damage you take is just to high to make those good trades. So again, if you play the ship in divisions or you get another DD which will go in front of you letting you be the 'hidden ace up his sleeves' so you can open up on the enemy DD and just wreck it together without getting the insta focus, then it's the best DD possible. Except that now on PT, when you finish the DD and there still was an enemy within gun range, you stay spotted for at least 30 seconds. And again, 730m turning circle and 33kts top speed you will eat a ton of damage from anyone who can aim at those distances. Being able to fade back into stealth at 9km with CE made it the excellent and dangerous ship it is. Sure you can pretend to duck and weave return fire... but I would rather take a Kiev if I have to do that since it's a lot better at it. The survivability of the ship is bad without being able to break off engagements, and this will just turn Akizuki in a very smoke depend ship I fear.

WG should not balance ships on division play. Ships should benefit from it, but always be viable even if played solo.

It's because BB Kevin is by definition a 'casual' and casuals play more AFTER work hours? And you do realize your spreadsheet could never be definitive or even indicative since single person MM can deviate from server same time MM experience for others greatly. Only WG could possibly give actual distribution numbers ( and time frame's ). I guess they don't because they don't want to give people an opportunity to play at their 'favourite' MM class distribution times.

Certainly not an 'end of a sub line' ship, there would be no reason to grind it. And didn't WG themselves say awhile back that they don't want 'bad' ships at all in their game? Fubuki never was bad. And Okhotnik is far from bad

Yesterday when getting my first crate the animation was bugged for the first crate. I selected the crate with cammo's and consumables, got the animation of the crate being hoisted on the deck and pressed 'open crate'. instead of the crate animation sequence for opening a crate directly, the crate was first lowered on the elevator below decks and then was brought up again before it was finally opened. This did not occur on the follow crates even while following the same procedure.

Why would I go and cap and die? That's the worst thing about PT games, actually playing the objectives is a bad thing. We will get so many games where a team just folds over because there are more idiots who don't understand the concept of PTFO, now you don't need a full set off 12 players with a brain since you can limit your engagements.
