SF is not the biggest impacting factor off this change, that would be the additional 20 seconds being visible after 'local' engagements. Depends on how well they test it internally and in ST, and if they listen to the feedback of the ST group. If they take the time and don't rush a change into the game which they then have to fix over a subsequent number of patches they could pull it off. No argument from me. Though I have a little bit of hope left. All depends on the next patch. This one won't get changed no matter the feedback, so the only chance dev's have in my book is in how they deal with what will happen when this hits live.

I don't want to discriminate, so I sometimes switch from Steve's to Kevin's heck I even thrown in a BB Kurt just now didn't I Ahh wow it is 40.3%, somehow I had a figure of 35% in my head, guess I didn't check the table correctly sorry My experience, using wows-stats which shows statistics of your current game in a browser window, is the vast majority of hidden accounts are tied to BB players. I would reckon a very large majority of the hidden accounts could easilly be added to the BB Kurt population.

Why would RN be unplayable if the other nations ( or better said, the actual CA's... not CL's ) have better damage mitigation through angling? Why? Makes no sense at all. They have smoke. They overperform from tier 7 up and they are flimsy as hell it wouldn't make them unplayable if other cruisers are better armored because their armor is not a intrinsic part of their gameplay. If WG says 40% that's closer to what I expect it to be Don't forget many BB Kevin when they get past Bismark think they are being called stuff in chat because people see their 45%- performance, and they go hide their stats if they haven't done so earlier. So there are more BB Kevin ( or .. BB Kurt? ) with a FdG then public stats show, same goes for CurryWurst. And that's not even including the BB Kevin's in the other line's.

Maybe somewhere halfway between? I mean charging past a BB in your Myoko so your rear torps could kill it and surviving with > 50% hp left isn't really intended either. For me, when angled you should be way more durable. So you can't just charge down a BB, since that requires being straight bow on to close the distance. I agree the game was more fun then, not this static camping gameplay we see now because BB's are deleting cruisers way to easilly.

Missed that part thank you. Still, 16mm rear bulwark is incredibly low. All BB's normally have > 200+. First time he mentioned it I thought it was a bug in either the viewer or the model..

The problem with the new Akizuki is that is lost all carry ability. I had games on PTS where I did >70k dmg and a kill or two, but my actual influence on the game was close to nothing. You can't dictate anything, well you can dictate not shooting your guns but that just makes you useless to your team. With SF, she would bully lone BB's around like no tomorrow, and that from 9km. Now, sure you can still burn a lone BB down, but you will be spotted so everything in gun range will send shells your way. And you have to be around 14km so you can evasion tank with your 730m turning radius. Basically, Akizuki went from probably OP to a leech. A slow, no armor, easy to hit leech which only works really well at range. Which makes her pretty useless at anything else. Sure, when team has thinned out a bit and players get isolated.. well I mean I fought Kebab's and won with them losing more hp then me. But that was because I initiated the fights, or with them being already engaged and having to deal with another ship first. I had tier X cruisers ignore me on 8km from their broadside... which costed them ~30k hp very quickly. The dpm is still awesome. And you get more range. But you loose actually being useful as you can't get close to the enemy in early game when it counts the most.

No the destructible environment cheat which highlights breaking of fences/trees and stuff on the minimap uses the built in python engine where WG's own code is used to update object states. No the mod doesn't use network traffic, it intercepts communication between the client and the system render engine ( DirectX ). The old aim assist which WG made inoperable was much simpler and was a python modification using in game events/object properties. I you can hack WG servers to alter anything which is only related to your tank in your current game session, would be better off looking at SWIFT transactions I guess It's just not worth the effort, and yes I do think that even if someone find a backdoor which allows this WG would quickly notice and shut it down.

Off course I will correct him if he's talking nonsense. This happens all to often and it's sad, especially since he seems to refuse to actually consider he might be wrong in ANY case anywhere. He's always right, and when he runs out of arguments he starts attacking the people directly just as he did here. This is sad behavior and we all know him for it, even more so then for his ability to misrepresent / doubt facts and information given. What do you suggest? Let him spread fud? What good would that do, you might have people reading his fud and taking it on face value. That would be bad, we don't want this guy to rub off on anyone.

Well... I always said subs are bad mkay... but they might help with the BB overpopulation so if WG adds them it's fine, as long as they will only be allowed in matches with 7 BB or more per team.

AAA is the most RNG heavy mechanic in the game, Sub_Octavian hinted that WG might consider reworking the damage model though.

Yeah, it's way easier to have some influence in BB's. Look at all those games where some camping scrub survives till late game and then find his W key and goes to win the game because the rest of his team actually done the hard work for them before they died because BB Keven doesn't want to get his paint scratched by doing his job and actually tanking for the team.
