WG hell bent on turning WoWs into Wot
mtm78 replied to ThePopesHolyFinger's topic in General Discussion
The sad part is, that low IQ section is already here on the forums as well crying about cheats... -
Sad part is he seems to actually believe his own bs.

Blahblah go use CheatEngine to buy yourself some new ships man, make a video off it and post it online. When you do I will eat my worn sock ok? And please learn how damage saturation works. Ow wait, you can only post libel and never go into actual facts because if you did you for once had to admit you're wrong and you don't understand even the basics of what you keep rambling on about.
-
Which one's? The one's you just been explained aren't 'hacks' or 'cheats' but some ........ who doesn't understand anything from both game mechanics nor the server client architecture? Stop drinking the koolaid.

Algérie, Henri IV and Duca d'Aosta preliminary stats

Says it all, doesn't it. -
I see what you did there, but aren't you being a bit to harsh on him?

I am not sure what should be done, I will leave those questions to others. Mostly because I don't see the big issue with them in random. But I do know they are hard to balance due to AAA scaling between tiers, and that they are an important part in the dynamics off the game. Well imho off course ✌️

Kiddie scripter lol http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/19222-enabling-replays-in-world-of-warships/ Takes some effort but replays can really help at times.

not on pc, posting from ipad but Google is your friend. Also modpacks can enable it for you. Euan_huzarny posted some script files which would do the edits for you as well but I know which topic that was in.

And still not a single replay? Edit: desync could cause this but then I would expect more people complaining about it.

But why don't they learn when given the opportunity? Is it their inability to read? Can't they process what they read? Are there they really an... ?

In the, not so rare, occasion you have afk CV in your team
mtm78 replied to Deviloid's topic in General Discussion
^^ this. You get to many AFK reports where you been idle for to long -> restrict game modes available. Get even more -> 24h ban. And don't come complaining about bad connections or loading in minutes late, if you do that frequently you're just as bad as someone who goes AFK for whatever reason. -
Wonky mechanics. 13.5k on a citadel hit = 1.350 on overpen (10%), 4.455 on normal pen (33%), 2227 on normal pen on saturated section. 3x4455 = 13365 dmg. Only way to get more with 3 hits on a DD is if the shells triggered a damage on multiple sections I guess? edit: either way. my point was that it stays anecdotal until you have a sufficiently large dataset supporting the hypothesis. So the question should actually be: what is a sufficiently large dataset? And that would be significantly larger then what's presented up to date. That being said, I agree that I also experience 'to many' heavy AP salvo damage in my DD's, and that I would like BB's to have to switch to HE if they want to see those high damage numbers instead of being just as good or even better off then AP. I almost never switch to HE for DD's, unless I know the DD is yolo rushing me and the HE might help with knocking out launchers.
-
But but ... it could also really be you!
-
Yeah and they are not anymore because WG has so much issues with balancing them. A lot of their points make sense to me, especially the +-1 MM since AAA scaling is exactly what makes CV's hard to balance.
-
CV's were part of the dynamic, they FORCE people into teamplay, they prevented BB's bowcamping and they punished rambo's who went on a flank alone.

Gun bloom never was an issue Thread is currently about lowering detection penalty though ye -
Omg posting the damage saturation video and proclaiming it's a 'cheat' \ And everyone can try using CheatEngine to modify in memory data ffs.... now go and try buying something with those credits you ..... If anyone had a doubt still, this guy doesn't understand anything from how this game works. Let's help him a bit with #2..... 1. The game has memory locations which hold local data like 'credits' 2. You can use CheatEngine to scan through process memory locations for values. 3. When you find the location of the value you can EDIT the value. 4. But this is an online game meaning you can edit it to whatever you want but it doesn't change the amount of credits the server has associated to your account. So try buying something with them Want to bet he will still cry more about it being legit and that I don't know what I am talking about? Also nice to see his definition of 'trolling'. Anyone who doesn't agree with him and is using actual facts to support their opinion as opposed to his incoherent rambling and lying, is a troll.

Well lots of people are doing that, doesn't mean it makes it 'fine' all of a sudden does it Yes they were, gun bloom was caliber based, with some exceptions like 130mm VMF. -
When you have sufficient data to make it so.

Because base concealment is only effective in getting in a good torpedo launch position / relocate during a game without being shot at. Being a good scout isn't really rewarded a lot, people want to deal damage, and dealing damage in a lot of DD's means firing your guns A LOT, not once every BB reload. Seems to me there are a lot of people who don't think always being spotted and not being able to STOP being spotted by tactical positioning so that there is no one close enough to spot you ( since this will now only happen at max gun range ) is a good thing. I don't agree at all, they want to retain the tactical skill in positioning as part of the game, giving them more options to play aggressive with having to rely on good RNG instead of their skill in positioning. -

The only situation where it would work ONCE is if the BB has to cap or lose and you just need to reset him. And I do mean ONCE because in that situation the BB wouldn't be shooting at other targets ( or the whole example would be even more nonsensical ) so he would always remain loaded, and you can't really relocate fast enough in any DD to cause a BB to need more then 20s to realign his guns. The thing is, concealment at least was governed by some skill ( don't argue, just say yes ). The only replacement we are getting for it is more RNG ( higher dispersion when shooting at targets which have concealment module ). Don't tell me you think this is a good direction for the game.
