They were fixing drag right so it's not just pen but also ballistics which should 'fix' or lessen the size of the 'parachutes' on them shells? Edit: ofc, not saying they shouldn't buff RPM, even if you would pen all shots with the current ROF your dpm is still lots less then Moskva

New trend: DDs now camping behind the BBs
mtm78 replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for being honest. So you did actually . and played more tier X up till now, so it's only normal if you haven't actually experienced more campy games in mid/low tiers up till now as you didn't play them? 10/10 would again. -
True. But losing more hp quicker in the game more regularly is a direct result of the change.

After Missouri, what will be the next FreeExp ship ?
mtm78 replied to PseudoMi's topic in General Discussion
You're right, idk why I thought that refit was only carried out on Yamato Either way, maybe give Yamato the choice of either, with better secondary or better AAA ( though.. 25mm IJN AAA is garbage ). And then Musashi with better secondaries and worse AAA? Though not sure, could be argued secondary build is stronger and if Musashi is a tier 9 reward ship it can't be stronger then Yamato. Haifuru colab makes Musashi quite likely to show up ( I hope.. ). -
Who cares about history in a arcade game? This isn't a simulation. If it were, where are my Long Lance torpedoes for my IJN DD's AND CA's? Why do BB's have > 3% hit ratio ( which would be 'historical' )? Ow wait, it's because it's a game which should be fun for everyone.

BB master race! Playing DD's actively, what a heresy!

Algérie, Henri IV and Duca d'Aosta preliminary stats
mtm78 replied to Darth_Glorious's topic in Cruisers
Omg... 12km torps is not a buff, it's a nerf. It will make people shoot useless torps from range which will only endanger their allies in front of them Seriously.. this isn't a buff at all. -

mtm78 replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
Hell no, then they can start nerfing the BBabies again so the cruisers suddenly are the one's they need to stick with for support. With other words, a better and more enjoyable environment for everyone ( well maybe except the BBabes ). -

They are experimenting giving cruisers both hydro and AAA consumables at the same time, they should keep that up so they can buff torpedoes again without hurting anyone except the BBabies -

mtm78 replied to PseudoMi's topic in General Discussion
Iirc they both had 4 Mogami turrets but I could be wrong. edit: late refit switched 2 of those out for more AAA ( on Yamato, not Musashi ). -
Chivalry in MMO's..... next time you'll say something like: irl war was more fair as well HE overpens IFHE overpens more CheatEngine can give you millions on your account Damage saturation is actually a GOD MODE cheat Server send data on unspotted ships ... and now... CL's can't tank People don't play 'fair' Chivalry is absent from online gaming Yeah ur making us laugh a lot, please keep it up

Musashi, tier 9 Yamato sister with less armor and AAA, worse stats on main guns. -

Like I care about PN's when it's pretty obvious giving a tier VI CL 12km slow [edited]torps is not helping anyone but shitters who will fire them from second or third line continously -
So.. that excludes some people already.. probably the people crying over HE + fires being OP

12km torps omg wtf are they doing.... This thing was meant to play aggressive, aka flamu style. Now you get shitters who try to snipe with them the whole game and spam 12km torps from second or third line 'because they can'. Give it back the aggressive torps, don't make the game even worse FFS wg. -
This one deserved it's own reply, as it's an actually good one. WoT is just easier to make meaningful client side modifications on. Your weak spot skin example is a good one, in WoT it actually gives a significant advantage, unlike WoWs. In WoT you have advantages when you extend the barrel length and suddenly have 'lasers' showing exactly where the enemy is aiming at. You have advantages when you remove foliage so it's easier to shoot at partially obstructed enemies. You have advantages when you can see on the minimap where trees / fences and so on are being broken. You have advantages when you can see the reload status of your enemies. And I could go on for awhile, but I hope you see the difference. And all those things were possible because WG did not close off access to their python engine which handles in game events. In WoWs, after the first aim assist which also exploited this, they closed it off. That is preventing a lot of potentially malicious mods from surfacing, and pushed other mods out of the client ( so they don't need to be in the client folders as they don't interact with client files in any way....... ).

So why ask then.... Yes that is why I actually explained everything multiple times already. Blue_Bug has not said anything which I didn't say before other then explaining why no company gives out details about their cheat detection system ( since I actually assumed this should be perfectly clear to anyone who thought it through ). Yeah... that works in WoT not WoWs, the 'weak spots' are commonly known ( citadel.... ) and the citadel is always below the guns and below the smoke stacks ). And with WoT, you can actually aim for and hit 'spots', in WoWs you shoot salvo's with a dispersion > 100m. So weakspot skins wouldn't help anyone except someone who doesn't know what a citadel is. Correcting people who spread nonsense is not putting people down, it is protecting other people from thinking bull excrement might actually be true and to stop it's spread. Because moderator edited his post, it's not allowed to embed them on the forums or even link to them.

IFHE makes damage against BBabies more consistent, don't need to rely on just fires then. Had games without IFHE where I had 1 dmg shell per salvo with the rest shattering on BB superstructure/deck. IFHE = instant removal off shattered HE ( unless you go shoot at belt armor ).

BigWorld is a commercial engine, you don't need a angry ex employees. Up to 2015 there even was an indie version available. There is a lot of documentation around.

So basically you're saying that stealth fire never was an issue as it's highly situational?

Most beautiful ship in the world:Amerigo Vespucci
mtm78 replied to sparviero142's topic in Off-Topic
Yes she does -
I must have forgot about it. I did notice fire and flooding count going down a bit but I thought it was my aim or bad luck. But I find it weird because I am sure that I still get the fire animation when DCP is active ( for like half a second or so, which is why I assumed we were still getting a single tick of fire damage as well ).

I love tall ships, especially those actually still being sailed and not acting as a floating museum. I hope she stays in active service for a long time to come! edit: but talking about most beautiful ships, this is her -> -
It certainly sounds like a singular, since it also says 'You accept' at the start of that sentence, and you can't expect a single person to accept something on behave off a group ( unless explicitly given that ability ). Sentence wouldn't make sense when it was a plural at the end and singular at the start right
