True. Not true unless changed in last patch. There is some wiggle room but it's not fixed/depends on person's (recent?) history, and WG is not giving details on it to prevent abuse ( guess they got a point right ;) ).

Not. Going. To. Happen. 1. would mean LESS sales for WG -> less profit. 2. would mean MORE work for WG -> less profit So. It. Won't. Happen. Ever.

I can confirm your suspicion, they are repeat offenders. Not everyone is a saint

I would still try to downvolt anything I would get pre-oc'd from anyone/any place I mean, sure it might take some more time to get it 'just right' but lower voltage's means longer mtbf ( and better temps -> lower rpm fans.. even on wc for some it's worth it ). On the other hand, mtbf is probably not something people really worry about when they buy pre-oc'd hw anyway As to topic btw -> still rocking 3770 ( non K ) with an hd7850 2gb + 16gb ram, run's everything pretty ok for my standards ( 1080p ). Even with the old cpu I'm usually more gpu limited but for 1080p the old lady still does me fine.

Yeah guess that's the acceptable explanation: I'm lazy and I can afford it
-
`Why the heck do so many of you buy pre overclocked systems, haven't you got the time or interest to do your own tuning and tweaking? Especially a 24h burn in with 2 day delivery sounds like they just use presets and don't actually look what's really possible

Obviously it's a place to cry and whine about underperforming ships first and foremost. since it's always the ship and never the captain If his post was from a Wyoming player complaining about a Gremlin..... but it was not, it was from a tier 9 battleship player complaining about 'GOD' mode destroyers. So yeah... if he really wanted to learn and expect people to try and explain things to him perhaps he should start his post with: "please help me deal with destroyers while in my Izumo" instead of this opening post cow manure. Again, it's nice that he after he made that post seemingly came around and indicated he is actually not just here to spread that stench, but that opening post is the problem, not people who tldr the rest of the responses so far. DD's are fine says the CL/CA, it's the BB's which are to strong! CA's are fine says the BB, it's the DD/CV's which are to strong! BB's are fine says the CV.. unless it's an NCal/Iowa/Montana or manual AAA spec German battleship... it's those damn cruisers with defensive fire which are to strong! CV's are fine ... who the hell says CV's are fine really. they kill my BB's they kill my cruisers if they tryhard enough and they keep cross dropping my DD's as well Seriously though, asking 'people' on this forum to make up their mind and reach an consensus on class balance is about as likely as me winning millions in the lottery. I would point to Robber_ Baron's post earlier... OP's intent was not learning, it was whining. If you want to learn, you don't say "I think DD's are way to OP versus BB"... which he incidentally edited out of his OP later

My Guess About Buffing The Tirpitz Secondaries
mtm78 replied to VeteranGamer84's topic in Battleships
The funny thing is, if I think of WG balance adjustments it's usually a sledgehammer ( well they didn't with shima buffs but ok that's maybe the 'new WG' ). But, google for 'balance adjustment using a sledgehammer' and you get general links to Turtle Rock Studio's forum and quite a few references to League of Legends. But this is pretty recent, I do think they are doing some nice 'correcting' right now but that is mostly with buffs and not with nerfs. Prime example is IJN torpedo nerf which was pretty bad, and now rebuffing the Mod3's slightly- 20 replies

I was actually looking forward to De Grasse as a stronger Atlanta.... but I don't want another bad clone -
Shame he cried and whined instead of asking for advice in his opening post

They definitely value them, that is why they already have boosted PvE economy as much as they have now I also believe that stuff like the escort mission and perhaps a form of Bastion should be put standard into PvE, The problem however remains rewarding both game modes with respect to the actual effort people have show in them. It's not easy, but I hope that dynamic scenarios are easier to scale then normal random battles against bots. That way, people who want to play PvE and reach end game content quickly can choose to play PvE on high difficulty, and people who just want to relax and use WASD once in awhile and at the same time click on pixel ships can play it on an more leisurely level. Personally I value everyone who puts money into the game, since this allows wargaming to keep developing the game further ( though I guess with current profitability we could all stop paying right now and they should have enough reserve's to keep paying the development team for a long long time ). Personally I wouldn't mind, PvE grind could be such low requirement that with current economy you could still reach end tiers rather quickly. And since this doesn't allow taking ships unlocked on PvE to be played in PvP there can be no reason for players to object to this. Heck I would probably play PvE more that way, if I want to know which lines would really be fun for me to play ( testing things in PvE.. sounds familiar ). But, I am not sure it would add revenue to WG, and as suchs I don't think it would work.

+1. WG knows this... I mean this is a repeat of what happened in tanks. Guess the lesson was still a bit hard to learn -
why redowloading is soooooooooooooooooooooo big?

Try downloading Mass Effect Andromeda FitGirl helps a lot though -
Stahp. I didn't dismiss a player, I dismissed his opening post.

2 pages, didn't read, opening post fully justified my first response If OP since then admitted he been doing it wrong, power to him. Though I am not sure, who has been giving him advice on how to do it right?

An important announcement for all BB captains
mtm78 replied to tenacious_torps's topic in General Discussion
Tanking is part of the gameplay, but a BB can be sunk by a couple of cruisers no problem. But that does NOT imply BB's should be in spawn minutes after a game started, or even behind it -
Sorry... you ffin asked for it

Grinding to tier X is NOT a side activity ffs. Stop being ......... I get it, you have feelings which get hurt if your favorite gamemode wasn't intended to be a fully fledged one, which allowed access to end game content. It's quite simple, and anyone not emotionally invested in the contrary should be able to come to the same conclusion: if it was INTENDED to allow this, why has PVE ECONOMY BEEN BOOSTED SO ENORMOUSLY TO EVEN GET AT CURRENT LEVELS, AND YET PvE PLAYERS STILL POINT OUT IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO REACH END GAME CONTENT? Do you really think WG has problems with running calc.exe? There was nothing surprising about the economy of PvE, the only thing surprising was the amount of people who don't want to play the actual game as intended at the time. Me saying this isn't a question of respecting those with different opinions, it's about facts and those unable to acknowledge those due to emotional influences or something like that. edit: And btw, stop having emotions please, it get's in the way of factual discussions. PvE was not intended to be a fully fledged game mode ( when identifying this as a gamemode which allowed access to end game content ), that doesn't imply anything about those who play it.

Don't worry, some people also think iShill's ability to polish turds and convince people his crapdoesn't stink is impartial, I'm sure not everyone is a flamuFAN....

Mod3's is where it's at, F3 way to situational I should update the game someday. maybe after the weekend when I'm hopefully done with my second Mass Effect playthrough... perhaps

Not to mention for any experienced CV player Hosho is also sealclubbing... so having the same results on a tier 7 cruiser as the no 1 CV sealclubbing ship, yeah sounds balanced right
