Only if they want to make a fool of himself like OP
-
Hahaha why am I not surprised. @OP git gud and stahp crying. 44%.... Ow, and if 'some ships' ( you actually probably mean 'classes' right... ) don't stand a chance, why does my wr in cruisers/destroyers and battleships all come within a few % of each other? Same goes for you, git gud and stop crying.
-
Shineyhorse, Gneisenau and Torpoid.... Lol... AB is already a sealclubbers dream, they removed manual drops on low tier CV's and you still need that AAA? It's not needed, wasd hack and slow planes = win.

Greek Battleship Georgios Averof (modified Pisa-class armored cruiser)
mtm78 replied to Nimlothgr's topic in Warship Projects
She would be very low tier, looks like it's a Mikasa but worse. But it does deserve a spot in the game due to still being afloat and thus being quite iconic -
Some people still haven't gotten the memo that the repair bill is fixed it seems
-
Did you ever pay something with your bank? In The Netherlands we have ideal ( bank payment system ), I can look up purchases and when I would send those to WG they should be able to link them to my account from there.

Only WoWs if FAR from a 'deathmatch' game
-
This is highly dependent on play style, but yes if you limit it to anti BB and anti cruiser on longer ranges then ofc IFHE comes out worse then when you play it a bit more aggressive. I would reckon the passive playstyle will give more damage, it should, but the aggressive playstyle should win you more games. And for the aggressive playstyle you need to be able to deter enemy DD's from feeling invulnerable if they bumrush you.
-
Wait, so you did a 20 game comparison and think those results are more indicative than using game mechanics to deduct optimal builds? As in damage comparison? As in, damage is more important then the versatility IFHE adds, like being able to defend yourself from any DD with enough armor to laugh at your non IFHE HE pen?

[Tool] Content SDK
mtm78 replied to TheBigLanowski's topic in Announcements and General Discussion (English)
Would be nice if we had a thread which covered not only this contentSDK but modAPI entirely ( which this is a subset off ). -
Wew, that's a nice EXCEPTION....... Why do people feel the need to post so much anecdotal evidence trying to discredit actual global facts about population numbers?
-
This kind of reply deserves a As to ships, tier 5 is a no go due to bad MM these days so I would recommend the exact same ships as Migulaitor has done already. Yubari is she comes in the shop someday is also a 'fun' tier 4 but less forgiving then the Stinkysushi. And while I totally do not like her, the RN DD is also doing well in global performance so she really isn't that bad either.
-
They buffed Shima torps concealment
-
That's not the point, too many BB's mean less people play cruisers and less people in cruisers means more DD's edit: also LOL at topic, there is a PROVEN FACTUAL problem with overpopulation of battleships, not with DD's.

Why WG is so biased against anything British?[Espesialy LEANDER]?
mtm78 replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
I never said you were, I said you jumped into ships you should probably not be playing yet. Anyway, you're going to improve along the way I recon. and besides Cambeltown there aren't any lower tier RN premiums around so I can't really blame you. I was just curious if you were enjoying your own games in those ships. It's not quantity which was the subject of my inquiry it was quality. Well that's a good start Plenty of people around who wouldn't mind giving you a few tips, all you have to do is ask -

That all fine and dandy, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't be learning the game as well You would do more honor to the ship if she performed admirably right Nah I imagine even those 'elitist' as you describe them would also just like it to stay alive and not die out because of low gameplay enjoyment. I mean, are YOU enjoying the way you play right now? edit: Not saying you're always wrong, I agree there are a LOT of BB's which need to grow a pair. But that being said, the Warspite when I sail her seems to be a bit better performing than when you're sailing her. So you 'blaming the team' doesn't really sit well with me If that makes me elitist, that's your excuse it seems and it has nothing to do with the actual gameplay discussion. -

I hope you're always on the enemy team ffs... Don't you think it's selfish as heck to buy those ships while you don't have a clue to what you're doing with them? -

Belfast has HE Jokes aside, national traits do work, it makes it easier to grind lines. And most people do not play a game from WG to replay their nations historical battles ( since WG doesn't make historical simulators but arcade games ). edit: also, RN will eventually get a CA line, maybe that would suit your playstyle more Yorck is also an odd duck in the line then ( one which I also enjoyed ). Heck Kirov with the 180mm is defo an ugly duck in the line ( one which I didn't like much if at all ). -
Algérie, Henri IV and Duca d'Aosta preliminary stats
mtm78 replied to Darth_Glorious's topic in Cruisers
In short: not solo carry material, play in division to keep your wr up -
Wiafu hugging takes situational awareness but less luck than kiting multiple ships in consecutive games, which is why for average Joe, waifu hugging aka tier 8 Lolalanta might be easier to reproduce with some consistency.
-
Well I wouldn't call it equally viable as Aerroon's approach might no fair well with people who don't have his experience / ability to keep track of minimap And don't forget that the 'safe' way will be more consistent, while the 'pray for bad enemy rng while kiting with a floating citadel' will not.

Paper still beats rock, but there is an abundance of Scissors.

Which is fine. I don't have issues with managing fires when I play BB's often either, and when I do than I can explain them mostly by me being caught in the bad position ( aka misplay on my side ), or enemy having extremely lucky rng ( setting dual/triple fires right before I break los which is when I time to use my repair party ). I think that's the way it should be, it makes the game enjoyable for those ships without armor or big guns with high alpha
