33k to 37k is 5k. While Nagato -> Amagi is a 10k avg dmg increase. ( ~48 to ~58 ), about 8k for Colorado to North Cal ( let's leave out Alabama which would be +15k ), 12k for Germany ( 48k to 60k ). When comparing tier 8 BB vs tier 9 BB the increases are negligible in comparison. Heck Izumo sometimes has a lower avg dmg compared with Amagi, FdG get's 2k increase from Bismarck and the Iowa gains 6k, Tier 8 cruisers could use some love.

I don't think he did claim they were worse, just that the tier X meta is more snipey compared with lower tiers ( and it is, though it's not because cruisers are weaker ).

Colorado should benefit from overmatch capability it gains when compared with New Mexico / Arizona ( iirc it gains ability to overmatch quite some cruiser plating it meets.. but it's been awhile since this was discussed so I'm not 100% sure ). For BB's it's the other way around ( as was explained earlier ). Iowa is a bigger Ncal, Izumo is hated for quite some time ( though it's not really as bad as it once was ), FdG is a bigger Bismarck, Montana gives an extra turret to Iowa, CurryWurst gains triple turrets and is with Yamato the only real BB which gains a lot. Unless you feel you 'have' to play top tiers there is less reward for going higher.

edit: you do realize the run time of air dropped torps is like 3km? if you drop torps on allies with a carrier there is NO ONE to blame but yourself. Even if they are bots ( or especially if they are bots as you should just make sure they can't do stupid stuff as bots are stupid and are capable of doing the stupidest things at all times ).

I think they are, it's just about situational awareness. Yes it's 100% repairable, but there is a max which can be healed in one go so focused HE+fires is still effective when done to a BB on which you can keep the focus long enough ( eg. someone out of position ). Cruisers can do this together easilly, and some can do it in 1v1's depending on player skill. Cruisers are harder to play then BB's, you need more situational awareness. but they do scale very well with player skill. I'm a decent cruiser captain, and seriously I think high tier class balance isn't the issue. Some ships I feel can need a buff ( Mogami shouldn't have armor plating which get's overmatched by anything ( cruiser HE ) for instance. And generally tier 8 is where the most pain is. I seriously dislike Hipper, Chappy isn't that 'stronk' either imo and Edin is also just a bigger/worse Fiji with worse MM. In that regard I think 1majorkoenig is correct, the scaling between some tiers is really off. The tier 8's might be simply fixable by giving them heal, idk. But something should be done to increase their popularity.

I would advice you to division with some of the forumites, http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/74922-forumites-chat-channel/ It's both more fun then playing alone and most people there are perfectly capable of giving some in game advice and help your tactical play

Yeah but in RANKED BATTLES you don't have DIVISIONS at all So the only mode with divisions is RANDOMS, in which he wants a EIGHT person division. If he wants to actually play TEAM BATTLES... he's out of luck as WG has said they are NOT coming back. -
The CA's at tier X can be effective while sniping, the damage potential is there. Tier 8 - 9 is trickier. Tier 6 - 7 CA's can make more plays though usually, depending on how many tier 8 BBabies they are tiered up to. I prefer tier 5-7 playstyle wise but the tier X's are not weak, just less dynamic due to sniping meta. Tier 9.. Roon is very nice, I like her more than my Donskoi and Ibuki.

Now add BB's from tier 8 - 9 - 10 and DD's from those tiers? Proof? Or just assumptions? You're trying to claim what exactly? Tier 6 and 7 even out tier 8 BBaby overpopulation? Math is hard? Numbers lie? Tier 8 mostly plays tier 8 and is not more often uptiered? Really? Because having 48% BB's makes playing cruisers hard, on a tier where CA's are already pretty weak ( exceptions aside ). No I said to many BB's pushes people out of cruisers But yeah, that does mean they are pushed to DD's or BB's. As to tier X having a smaller number of players playing BB's then DD's is imho mostly caused by casuals which can't perform in their higher tier battleships as well as they can in tier 8. This has been explained earlier in the thread, you might want to actually read the posts instead of replying without doing so. Any more showcases of stupidity to add? No? Good. But you quote ME, so show me where I did it or stop posting incoherent nonsense trying to put words in people's mouth.
